Nice to see the beast back running along with its aural treat...... The 1390 will be interesting. Having Adaptive cruise control on the 4 wheeled transport, its a hugely relaxing tool to have on motorways and especially with its advanced braking (Sometimes reacts quicker than a human can) I can see the benefits with an automatic transmission, but the downside is that cars which would easily be dispatched when they are turning left etc, the adaptive cruise controls the braking and often its too much, wanting to have that distance regulated until the vehicle turning has gone out of its radar scope.... Its similar to the adaptive cruise we now have on the 1290, but the added bonus in that it will actually move off without any input from a standstill in traffic if necessary....... Personally its one step too far on a bike - the current setup is damn good for its purpose, I'm not too sure I want the bike controlling my ride rather than me riding to the situation as it presents itself or I wish it to be considered. Looking forward to your views as ever.

Very true bud! I'm wondering if they are going to do a face-lift Gen 3 superduke with the new switchgear and TFT. Would seem like an easy upgrade but assume that won't happen until they have it market-tested for a year or so
@@SamVBikes I'm going to the bike show to look at the new stuff on the Monday this year. I'm interested in a section where you can have a go at practical stuff like welding. A lot of the bikes are very same old thing year on year, with few exceptions. I wish there was a show that exhibitors of all the specialist aftermarket parts attended so we could see what's available for our bikes. You get the occasional exhibitor at the bike show but it would be great to see suspension lowering stuff, exhausts body kits etc at a dedicated show
