@@BastardX13Honda famously spent their way to the top of any bad season for 30 odd years. Its not as if Ducati are doing anything unusual financially.
You said that Gigi listened to the riders.. when Lorenzo was at Ducati, he complained that they did not listen to his input and that he was struggling on the bike as a consequence. He complained that he didn't have enough support from the tank all season, and when they finally modified it for Mugello he won.
I agree with this. When Lorenzo was at Yamaha, his input basically made the Yamaha the easiest bike to ride on the grid. When he left for Ducati, Yamaha kind of lost their direction and became worst. And as you said, when Ducati finally made the changes that Lorenzo asked, he straightaway won multiple races. Now, Ducati is the easiest bike to ride on the grid. When Lorenzo went to Honda, I predicted it as a very bad move for Lorenzo as Honda already has Marquez as their golden boy, thus getting Lorenzo was just a tactical move to tie down Lorenzo. Honda openly stated that they will only listen to Marquez for input and ignoring Lorenzo was the proof that I was right. But karma hit Honda harder with Marquez's horrible crash which ultimately became the doom of Honda in MotoGP, as they lost the only rider that can ride their bike.

@@md.shaonprinceshuvo5412 true. But there's an interesting event that made me think Lorenzo input is a bit bigger than Rossi if it comes to ECU tuning. Fair play to Ducati. Funny how they had 8 bikes in 2017 and 2018 and nobody cared. Since 2022 they’ve had 8 bikes again and just because it’s the best bike suddenly they shouldn’t be allowed them 😂
Gigi also took advantage of the Open Class concessions for his factory bikes. They basically had a green light for development vs the Japanese. I still contend that Honda pretty much stopped developing the RC213V when Marc got there.
Gigi is the Adrian Newey of two wheels. You are so on point why was Rossi failed in Ducati. It was the first time Rossi had to ride a Moto cross like MotoGP in tarmac.
Rossi was good at sliding. He had zero front end feeling on the Ducati which made it difficult to trust plus it was going through a massive development change with the aluminium chassis. Watch some old races and Rossi was very competant at riding sideways.
The biggest change was not the ECU, not Gigi or anything else. The biggest change was the tyres. Ducati was always a bike that used rear tyres for performance. During the Bridgestone era, the rears were weak. They couldn't do much about this and the Japanese factories were all about the front tyre. Michelin shifted the front/ rear balance towards the rear. This is why they immediately won a race in 2016 and the bike was much better from the start. All other factors added to this. Ducati always had usable power. They always relied on the rear tyres as well to stop the bike. Until the Michelins came along, the rest of the ridrers didn't even bother with the rear brakes that much. That was mostly for stability rather than raw braking strength.
The fact that Dall'igna made two masterpieces bikes, the RSV4 first with what he dominated WSBK and killed Ducati, then go to MotoGP with them and kill the competition there plus making the Panigale, V2 and V4. This man is a genius
Just a note about desmodromic valves, they usually still have valve springs. It's just that with desmo systems, the valve springs are really only there to take up the lash in the system and hold the valve closed. So you can use a much smaller, weaker spring since you're not relying on that spring to control the valve throughout it's full range of travel. Now in theory, it could be possible to eliminate the spring completely, perhaps with some sort of oil pressure powered hydraulic system but a spring is just so much simpler and easier, I doubt anyone has done that though admittedly I've never seen inside a modern Ducati GP engine so maybe they are doing something like that. On another note, Ducati is not the only one to use desmo valves. Mercedes had great success with it in F1 and street cars in the 50s. Norton tried it. There is even a single cylinder test head with desmo valves from Toyota's ultimately failed F1 attempt. I have also seen a Ferrari V12 head with desmo valves but seems to have never gone beyond the prototype/testing stage. I believe that was actually a joint effort between Ferrari and Ducati. As for today, the combination of 4 valves per cylinder (meaning the valves are smaller and lighter, thus easier to control), pneumatic valve "springs" and better materials have made desmo valves, well not obsolete obviously as Ducati is still winning with them but not really practical for most companies in most applications.

just old same facts content
It is because they have most money to pay for dorna or fim to win races or championships 👍
Bovine excrement. Ducati has 2,200 employees TOTAL. Honda has 220,000+
They bribed dorna an Fim thts how it aint tht bullsh...t V4r. How all of a sudden all inline4 engines are slow not buyin it.
You haven't had a good understanding of Ducati. Much of your info was around for years. And telling people about your info is old news. 😢

When you jave like 46 motorcycles on the grid how can you not do well
Because they found how to cheat without being caugh like Ferrari with the injection system some years ago?
Honda will be back soon, also expecting Yamaha to come back to life too.
Du-caaaah-Ti. Say it correctly.
his pronunciation of ducati is pretty good
@@andreapaladini7279 No it's very bad.
@@underbear9683 im italian, i probably know how to say it
Gotta love how the english say Ducati :D
AUDI money.... there saved you time
Monet does not win races. Toyota outspent every F1 team, and flopped!
....Ducati has started winning with average rider. Yes, Bagnaia is average rider. If they kept Lorenzo, they would win championship earlier. Also Dovi was average...bit todays Ducati is way better than "Dovi's Ducati". Only alien that is still among riders is Marc, but Pedro is knocking on those doors.
Calling Bagnaia average was crazy. Marc is god level yes but calling a 2 time champion average is an insult.
If bagnaia and dovizioso are average how do u explain that dovizioso beat marquez several times and bagnaia is miles better than him now and will be better than him next year. Rn to win you need to be able to stay closer to the limit than ever before, and the only two riders that are able to do so consistently are bagnaia and martin
Acosta won't stay with KTM , I predict he'll get tired of chasing the Dukes and get the factory ride after his contract is over and when MM93 retires or moves on .
Better next year yeah let's see 🤣
Yeah that's why martin with 0 world championships and 3 wins this season 🤣
bro, why you so dusty?
