I first started watching your videos at night after my wife had gone to bed. The second time I watched, she came out of the bedroom and said, “What is that sound? I heard it last night, too.” HAMMER TIME!! Now I lower the volume at night.
OMG! 🤣😂 I watch on an iPad and one night I’m watching and from the bedroom I hear.....”what’s that banging noise”.....never imagined she could hear it but....🤣😂🤣
Brilliant as usual. I'm now holding my thumb under the phone where the speaker is, ready to block it when the hammering starts 😂🤭 it works! You're a professional; I think it's fabulous that you kept the business going 👍
I’m truly impressed but many can’t afford shoes that’s expensive enough for your level of service. Wish to visit you in the states one day. Awesome work!!!
they really took a beating in 4 years. l try to never wear the same pair of leather shoes two days in a row. leather needs time to dry out and rest between wears.they will last much longer. always fascinating to watch an artist at work.
I'm not even done with this, and I HAD to go back & re-watch the original "Hammertime!" I laughed my butt off when "The Voice" made it's appearance. "Hey man, you're hurtin' my ears wit dat loud hammering....do it softly, or I'm outta here!" LOLOLOL The shoes look just as good as the first time you did them.
I would rather have Steveroo repair something for me than anybody else I have seen and I'm not kidding...! I have watched countless video's of the MASTER at work and his combination of skill, knowledge, precision and work ethic can't be beat...!!! Greg
Wow! Four years ago! I remember you doing those before. Doesn’t seem like it. In fact I’ve been following you and subscribing more than that. I don’t know what I said last time so just tell the truth right? A fantastic repair…..carried out to perfection. Shine on Steve
you did a superior job...it's really a shame that your customer doesn't seem to take any care of his beautiful shoes himself...I have several pairs of alligator shoes & clean & condition them after each wearing to keep them in top form & looking beautiful!
Another job well done to make a customer happy. Nothing like happy feet from an old pair of comfortable shoes, especially after Steave works his magic and hard work to renew them. Great job, ok, ok, how much? :-)
Steve, you make this look entirely too easy. Could you try to make it at least look a little harder so complete klutz's like me don't feel so skill challenged?? Beautiful work as always good sir. Your work is always a joy to behold. Best wishes to you and yours Steve. Cheers from Texas!
Those puppies turned out very nice. As tired as that overgrown lizard leather is getting, the next go-'round might need the removal of the nylon backing and laminate some kangaroo or kid skin (very thin) to the back side of the 'gator to get more years' worth of life from it. Both are very supple, yet strong for the per/ounce weight.
At what point is a shoe deemed unrepairable? How many resoles or modifications before the upper has too many stitch holes or weak points to remain reliable?
Those are beautiful Tom Ford loafers with a new lease on life again, Steve! Do you have any news from the new ownership at JR in Germany? Are they producing leathers with the famous original method? I'm sorry if you have already talked about this.

Every time he says “let’s continue “ I say it out loud. The other day my wife ask me “continue what”.

@@JM-eq5vm yeah it’s a catch phrase at our house. Let’s continue…
I wish you'd show more often the cleaning and condition of the product, that is always fun to watch
i feeel the same way, or he can even make another video about that single part since it takes a long time, it would be fantastic.

Hammer Time Steve Let’s Continue 😀😊❤️😀👍🏼
You’ve got the shakiest hands I’ve ever seen, but your stitching is done with the precision of a steady handed surgeon.
I'm still amazed by the precision of the seams and the surgical gestures. A real work of art.
A genius!
Beautiful, split toe alligator butterfly loafers...a pair of beauties. Steve does the best work...
I love hearing our bird friends in the background of the videos.

Great video! You talked!

I'm still waiting for a video to trigger those that harp on you about sharpening disposable blades. Always get a chuckle when you break out the stone.

Amazing as always.
Maralloso.👍👏👏👏👏👏😘😘
It would be so great if you could get Stanley Burrell (AKA MC Hammer) to visit your shop someday. I know it'll probably never happen though.
👍 good morning to you and Tom Ford
Great to see these shoes being brought back to life again. The black on the soles makes the purple really stand out.

Nice to see pimps use their local cobbler, too. Shop local.

Beautiful job, turned out so nice 👍🏼
Love you more and more.
Does that guy use them as everyday hiking shoes?
Another sold video hope all is well my friend!

You answered at your own question. When there are too many holes and weak points!👍
At the 8:05 there was a decay in the skin and I was hoping I'd like to see how it was fixed
nice
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hey man! Turn the volume UP when you hammer!
Great video! Who made these for Tom Ford, was it Max Verre?

I haven’t tried the new leather, I’m still well stocked with the original
