The Cleverlys are mostly known as a hilarious comedy Bluegrass act, but the level of musical talent Paul (AKA: Digger) is able to assemble continues to impress.
As a child of the 70's who came to age in the 90's... I enthusiastically approve this cover of a song I have sang to myself at least 10,000 times. Good job, fellas!
The fact that this exists makes the world better. Seriously. I love this genre-breaking stuff. These guys,pmj...just amazing. What's most beautiful about this is it's NOT a parody. It is deadly earnest and sincerely respectful of the song itself, and Bluegrass as a genre. Thanks for this. Do more stuff!
I have recently become obsessed with this song, spending waaaay too many hours listening to all the various styles from hundreds of artists every day this whole week, singing it pretty much every waking minute that Im not listening to another artist lol, ya... never done this in my 70 years!! And I have loved alot of songs. Saving all my favorite versions and THIS version is one of my top favorites now, will be listening to it many times ahead, for sure. Well done, so cool, love it!!!
Im missing out on the Cleverlys tonight in Louisville. Depressed in my heart. I could kick myself in the ass. Should have bought tickets early. They're sold out.........F_______.
“Creep” as sung by The Cleverly’s will be the song playing in the background when all nuclear armed countries launch their rockets criss-crossing across the globe in MAD!
When they say "we are doing it bluegrass style" apparently means they don't know how to play the song in the written chord progression..... it's FOUR CHORDS GUYS - learn them .

My partner went to high school with Paul (Digger)!
They have a unique mix of humor and excellent musicianship !!
Total bluegrass junkie here; actually all music junkie and they are on my playlist and not because of the comedy
I think this is the best remake of Radioheads classic.
No..Crum from American Idol did the best in my Opinion..But these guys did kill it
Richard cheeses version is pretty fire
I like it, too. But, if you want a real eargasm, check out Miss Haley's version with PMJ.
Pretenders Creep.
Best country version of Creep I've ever heard.
I know, right? Changing the rhythm to be something comparable to a waltz makes a perfect song somehow better
Right?!? My mind is just blown right now!! 😮
Now I've heard everything. Bluegrass cover of a Radio Head song 😂😂😂😂 But I can only say it sounds amazing. Great job guys
Forever jamming to the cleverlys. What a great band you guys rock😂✌️🤌👌🤘🤘🤘

I'm thinking the same thing. A different version of a good song done in a different style.
I love bluegrass played in heavy metal too.
Pickin’ and a grinnin’ a classic! Sounds great!
That thing with the bass is brilliant!
These guys are amazing musicians.
I always liked this song. Now I like it even more. Excellent rendition.

The Cleverlys consistently turn pewter into gold, but in this case it's gold into gold.
my interest are colliding and i love it
few covers of Creep are any good, this is one of the very few that stand on it's own.
These guys never miss.
I really like bluegrass music. I'm not familiar with this song but I sure liked their version of it. ❤

That man can sing
Probably the best version I have heard from the original.

The steel guitarist is the unlikely hero here.. Awesome mood in those fingertips.

Hey RUclips where’s the Thom Yorke reaction video for this? Make it happen.

That mandolin player sure is great!!!!
Im missing out on the Cleverlys tonight in Louisville. Depressed in my heart. I could kick myself in the ass. Should have bought tickets early. They're sold out.........F_______.

Did the cameraman ever find the dobro? I don't think so.
Country Western Radiohead.
keef your evil leave me alone I can see right through you
“Creep” as sung by The Cleverly’s will be the song playing in the background when all nuclear armed countries launch their rockets criss-crossing across the globe in MAD!
I’m surprisingly okay with this . . .
🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I hope they can do Ice Cube and Dr. Dre rap songs.
Well now, wasn’t that special?🙄🤔😳👍👍
Waaay better than the original.
Steel guitar in "bluegrass" ?!? Wth
Dobro. First used by Flatt & Scruggs in Bluegrass.
You obviously have never heard Tut Taylor or Jerry Douglas.
When they say "we are doing it bluegrass style" apparently means they don't know how to play the song in the written chord progression..... it's FOUR CHORDS GUYS - learn them .
Which chords did they miss?
I heard G, B, C, and C minor, like the original.
Sounds like they did it in 3/4 instead of 4/4, but that made it unique.
@@custerranch It's G - E- F minor -F major
It’s called “interpretation.” Now let’s hear your version.
Censored 😢
I would leave this song with Radiohead,, it doesn’t come close ,
Overdoing it on the country twang. If not for the egregious overpronouncing of the twang , on purpose this would be great.
Jimberly, that guy is country as collard greens. Trust me. That accent comes straight from the Ozark Mountains.
@@benwilson1922 that mandolin player.comes in so good on that part of the song.
