@@joanrobijn4118 thanks for your response. Here in the UK, most people over the age of 50 complain that our food today doesn't taste anything like it used to. I'm 71, but it doesn't have anything to do with losing one's taste buds - it's a very noticeable change. Furthermore, our "fresh" produce deteriorates within just a few days (even in the refrigerator). Nothing lasts as it used to. I imagine that if food in the States is inferior to ours in the UK, then it must be awful. Regards

Small elections make more difference in our government than presidential elections. In fact they have more to do with who gets elected president than the popular vote for president does, so they are more important. With an average voter turnout of 35%. That’s the percentage of voters making the government we are living under. All our problems stem from this. we have been doing this to ourselves because we don’t like to pay attention to government we waste our time on culture wars, which are intended to distract us from the actual government being taken place. This Supreme Court just ended the Chevron difference. Food is about to get even worse so our workers rights and so is the environmental protection agency.

I have been saying this for quite a few years. Pumpkin is being used in GMO watermelon as well. I actually brought watermelon back to the store. I left the USA some years ago I don't eat processed foods but my health and energy has improved so much in the years I've eaten only local meats and produce, even the taste of food is different and the food don't last forever you have to eat it in a short time period, the US is so corrupt I don't know if I will ever go back.

Life is no longer simple. It takes twice as long to shop, because every label must be read, even the stickers on the fruit. So far I haven't been unable to buy a local watermelon this year. Why? I haven't found out why yet. I loved growing up, visiting my grandparents, who grew all their own food, including cane from which they made delicious syrup, and peanut brittle candy. Granny churned butter from milk, from their cows, and also made cheese. We are fresh eggs from real free range chickens that were not fed chicken feed with antibiotics, and growth hormones. So many wonderful, wholesome foods. Real sweet potatoes, from which Granny made sweet potato pies, and home grown peaches which made delicious peach cobbler . I could go on and on, but it's making me hungry, and kind of sad.🙁

@@SW-jt3sl every time I go by a feedlot or dairy lot where there is no green or trees or grass I yell “run-stampede-escape”. I grew up in the country where cows grazed on grass and wandered in a field and rubbed against a tree. My grandmother shouted “shooeeee” and the pigs came running for her kitchen scraps in a bucket. Dairy cows had names and were talked to and touched. It’s a terrible shame what industry and greed and yes Bill Gates has done to our food and animals. Same with hybrid grains and depleting and artificially fertilizing our soils.

That's why I have containers of vegetables planted inside and outside of my apartment. I haven't been able to eat the foods in the stores for over twenty years. Fresh veggies come in frozen and most can't be used for human consumption or to feed the dog.
I just started my red peppers and tomatoes in my apartment. Fingers crossed that everything goes well cause this is my first time and I know nothing but I do plan on having my own garden one day cause I don't trust what's out there.

I'd love to eat healthier but I feed a family of four. Healthier costs so much more. I'd love to just have meats fruits n veggies. But sometime you gotta add rice, mashed potatoes, bread, noodles. But it's like you can't win because red meat is not heart healthy, tuna got too much mercury, the cheese in Mac n cheese got chemicals bad for your hormones, lettuce got salmonella, n our waters got plastics. So what's left?
@@spoiledwitch82 I'm Vegan. It's super cheap and healthy. I never use rice, I substitute organic quinoa (4.5 lb bag at Costco is cheap. I buy it through my friend who has a membership and gets it for me)
Also sweet potatoes and regular potatoes are a wonderful source of starch.

I save a lot of money by not buying cheese and meat. I can barely afford things since they've doubled and tripled in price. I don't know how people can possibly afford to meet, cheese and eggs (at least the good quality)

We bought some plums recently that never ripened to eat. They stayed hard and then turned rubbery . The texture was weird and the flavor was terrible. I have been noticing this weird phenomenon with fruit for about 15 years. Wal mart is the worse place to buy fruit. Or the time I bought apples at wal mart, they looked red and delicious but when I bit into it it was completely rotten. The outside looked perfect. Not only that but the rotten inside turned red from the outer part of the Apple almost like there was a red dye on the outside of the Apple that transferred to the inside of the Apple when I bit into it. We are being poisoned or eating low quality fruit. Stay away from wal mart fruit and veggies, they are junk.
That's why fasting is important. Those who are awake know even eating everyday isn't always good. "Rebooting your system" (fasting is vital!!!)

@@Lonzell you dont necessarily gotta eat “once” a day but don’t be eating for roughly 16+ hours out of your day. Sleep counts as part of the fasts so I fast from 9pm-1pm the next day an from 1-9 I have an 8 hour window to eat my 2200 calories roughly I usually eat about 2-3 meals within that time frame to meet my caloric intake but if you can make it one huge meal go for it by all means that.

Red meat isn’t dangerous for most… so long as it’s taken care of n eaten right away. Most of the meat we eat off the shelves have been there for weeks on end. Soaked in preservatives n dyes to make it look fresh. Everything from food to the injections they give to the animals before slaughter all goes into our system when we eat them too. It’s time the masses stand up n create our own communities and band together. No more daily work jobs, they’re fuckin pointless to us n only ramping up the big production companies. We shouldn’t be working for them, we should be working for ourselves, with that siad start workin on your fruit trees, garden, an grow a community around you that each other can trust within and make your trades form each person. I have always said, it’s our food that is causing cancer. My grandfather and family ate beef most everyday but, it was his beef not super market beef. It wasn’t filled antibiotic and hormones.

For a century, big industrialization has been taking over with markets, massive big production chains are powerfully and difficult to control. The only way to solve this is to go back to a locally small produced but more ubiquitous production. But this is more expensive and it’s very difficult to compete with the big power and it lower prices. We’re screwed up from all sides
I'm in Ireland, i buy as much organic foods as i can, started my own garden too. We have a local farm shop, they grow spuds, carrots, cabbage etc themselves but its a long time since I've bought anything from there because the veg is 'blown out of the ground'. A farmer close to me rented his land out to the farmers that own the farm shop and whatever was grown in that field he said he'd never eat them again as he saw exactly what was put into and on the vegetables
A friend from Vietnam told me that rice sent from China had plastic mixed in their rice.
I ate rice the other day and it tasted so good but about an hour later my skin started burning and I felt awful all over. It lasted for about four hours. I’ll never eat rice again.
It was organic white rice jasmine.

I live in England so our fruit is mainly grown here or in other parts of Europe. When I used to take trips to the US i always felt unhealthy and came home ill. Our fruit and veg is so good especially if you shop at Lidl, for seeded fruit we can choose either or without seeds.
