Flannel will eventually admit that he was wrong. Ivey could be the starter on a championship team and Rod would still find ways to downplay his production.
Ausar and Ron will be overwhelming on defense in the near future. I hope Ausar is the starting 2 and Ron is the starting 3 of our future. Cade has to be ultra aggressive if we get close to 30 wins this season
IVEY is doing great, but what is going on with CADE.. The issues we need to see if both can play together, right now we are seeing similar one doing good the other not scoring as well. Hopefully they can figure this out. 1st game 25min 13pts, and suns game, Cade 18min 3pts, we need to see them both meshing imo with at least 19-25ppg from both of them for this team to win games. I think it can be done just hoping to see it more in pre-season.
I don't want to see bo facilitation from Cade at the point position. I need him to play the 2 and get maybe 3 to 4 assist from that position, other than that I need Cade to be a scorer flatout. Never cared for him as a person running the offense and he still can push point at times in the game but I need him at the 2 and sometimes at the 3.
@@BayPawLobeezy_World i agree with that, imo both CADE and IVEY need to be scoring 19-26ppg this season. If they can do this consistently you will have a winning team, and T. Harris should be the next main scoring option. But Cade need to be scoring a lot more, and we need to see it in preseason to see if they can work together. IMO IVEY has to step back for cade a lot which hurts his game, so we need to see both being aggressive and attacking and scoring for this to work.
On defense getting better - it won't get any better, if the new coach continues what happened last season, which is to never play a solid defensive power forward; one who can help Duren protect the rim with helpside defense. The closest we had was Thompson, but at 6-6, he was not the best guy to contend with opposing power forwards. This season, the guys that most project to play power forward minutes, Harris, Stewart, Fontecchio, have not a bit of ability to provide helpside defense at the hoop. At center, Duren is not great at helpside D at the hoop, while Stewart has zero ability in this. So, if that is the plan, basically you will never have a solid defensive front line on the floor. Our guards will have to play for the drive, leaving shooters too open. Then we will over compensate; and then see drives to the hoop unopposed. Here is the good news though - the Pistons have four players who could play power forward, who can provide helpside D at the hoop. Thompson, Holland, Reed, and Klintman. So, we have the ability to improve the defense; but so far, there is really no sign of intelligence on this matter, from the new coach, or from anyone commenting on the Pistons these days. Here is a unit that can play fine defense, and score well too: Cade, Ivey, Beasley, Reed, Duren. Popular or not, this is a common sense unit that would win games for us. Thompson and Fontecchio would be the first two subs in, for Beasley and Duren. Since Reed can shoot 3 pointers well enough, you still keep enough shooting in. That would give an intermediate unit of Cade, Ivey, Fontecchio, Thompson, Reed. Next, Duren comes in for Reed, Holland comes in for Thompson, Sasser comes in for Cade, Harris for Fontecchio, Beasley in for Ivey. This gives Sasser, Beasley, Harris, Holland, Duren. For a bit, you have two bad outside shooters in there together, in Holland and Duren. Consider playing Klintman at this point, if needed, instead of Holland. But, Holland is not Thompson - just because we saw that Thompson and Duren did not work that great together offensively, does not mean the same problem will be there pairing Duren with Holland. The above rotation uses 10 players. Here is another, simpler 10 man rotation: Cade, Ivey, Harris, Holland, Duren start. Sasser, Beasley, Fontecchio, Thompson, Reed for the second unit. In this second rotation, the first sub could be Reed for Holland, upping the outside shooting ability of the unit. That would be Cade, Ivey, Harris, Reed, Duren - which is also a possible starting unit.
Here is one more possible rotation: Start Cade, Ivey, Thompson, Holland, Reed. This would be among our best possible defensive units, and still have 3 capable utside shooters. This leaves Duren coming off the bench, with neither of Holland nor Thompson ever being paired with him. Bench: Sasser, Beasley, Harris, Klintman, Duren. Fontecchio would be the 11th man in the rotation, competing directly for the minutes Harris gets, and also coming in for Holland or Thompson if we need more outside shooting. And, one more: Cade, Ivey, Harris, Klintman, Duren start. Bench is Sasser, Beasley, Thompson, Holland, Reed. To be fair, I'll include Stewart in one rotation. If Stewart is surrounded by good helpside at the basket defenders, this deficit of his can be mitigated: Start, Cade, Ivey, Harris, Holland, Duren. bench: Sasser, Beasley, Thompson, Stewart, Reed.
Like that bald head guy and Flannel guy are keeping their stance as Ivey haters
it’s gonna make their apology that much better

Flannel said Ben Wallace isn't a hall of famer so we can ignore all his basketball takes.
Where is Rod reporting from? Is that the EMU convocation center or Ford field?
I'm so glad Monty is gone, no music at Practice is absurd.

That is the worst shooting lineup ever. 3 and 4 at best
Ion think rod like the ivy half court question
