I just watched this video for the second time. And, I realized that I had not commented. So, yours is an excellent tutorial on how to draft a newsboy and baseball cap. Your construction video was equally wonderful! Thank you so much!!!
HELP please! Is there a way to make a newsboy hat adjustable by three inches? I suggested elastic, but it causes the hat to bunch, which is not attractive. Someone else suggested the use of velcro inside the band, but I can't figure out how that would help. I though about an adjustable band but I am not sure how that might be attached, given the band that usually is part of the hat. And, the adjustable bands seem a little flimsy. Any suggestions. Thanks much.
AMAZING TUTORIAL , I HAVE A QUESTION , WHEN I MEASURED YOUR HEAD SIZE TEMPLATE, I FOUND ITS A OVAL SAHPE THAN CIRCLE SHAPE , AND YOU CUT ALL SIX PANEL OF CAP OF SAME SIZE , I FEEL THAT SIDE PANEL PIECES SHOUL HAVE HIGHER MEASUREMENT THAT FRONT AND BACK PANELS , PLEASE EXPLAIN.
Typically the panels are the same length. It's all going to depend on the length ease you add. All the panel seams need to be the same length to sew together.
Heyo! You mention at the end linking to another video to show the construction of the baseball cap, but I don’t see that link anywhere. Are you able to share it here?
I have struggled with this for months but you have made it sooooo easy. You are a great teacher
I've completed a petal section for the newsboy cap. I'm going to cut and sew today. Thank you for the lesson. Really great instruction and demo.

I can't really think of a way to make it adjustable by that much apart from the band. Maybe ties?
@@StitchingVulture Agreed! I can't understand why three inches are needed... even for a wig. I really appreciate your input. Thanks so much!

I AM REFERING FOR BASEBALL CAP

@@StitchingVulture I am referring to base of pannel which derives the head circumference not the crown hight which is sewed together.
@@StitchingVulture Thanks for your quick response.
I see. The curve still works in my experience. I suppose there is some geometric reasoning behind it, but it's never been an issue for me.

How odd. The link used to be in the description. The account is ProperFit. ruclips.net/video/_mfdxIX9wMY/видео.htmlsi=2AC_6Vznk7zZpryq
