- Hey-o~ first off, as you can hear in the video I was listening to a random review video in the background so you can hear that
Secondly: Hey there Shiny Celebi what's up~! My mic has been on the fritz lately so I've had to angle it in a weird way to get things to connect properly so the sound is a bit muffled in the second portion.
I love generation 2 so I jumped on the chance to hunt Celebi now it was out in the west! I sped through the game with my fierce gatr A and started this hunt on Friday and the little PANK onion popped up Monday after I got back from University!

another note: I got a shiny suicune earlier and right now am hunting lugia. I want to get shiny lugia and celebi in specific balls (love balls)!

Mukouno ikr, just finished my odd egg shiny hunt. Hunting shiny sudowoodo now.
Mukouno I finished it with 45 hours lol but thats probably because I wasnt rushing
I plan on hunting shiny celebi in a few months though am currently hunting cyindaquil so am still a bit far off :P good job on getting the shiny celebi btw XD

Could I still get the shiny Celebi, especially if I used my bicycle to get to the Ilex Shrine? I am getting the normal Celebi. I am doing the 3DS VC menu reset, and I'm only getting the non-shiny Celebi.
I been at it for over an hour, and Celebi has not showed up as shiny yet.
Was throwing a pokeball part of the trick to make shiny Celebi come?
Caleb Hopkins You don’t need to do anything, all you really need is luck and patience. The chance for a shiny is 1/8192, or 0.00012207%. You can get it, though it might take a LONG while before that happens. I’m also hunting for a shiny Celebi, and it has been a week since starting my hunt. Anyways, Good Luck!
@@snar3lax160 Someone said that I can only get a shiny Celebi if I walk right in the Pokemon Center (did that), give the GS Ball to Kurt (the way for Celebi to come to the Ilex Shrine), and then wait for exactly 24 hours (I waited more than 24 hours) to get the GS Ball. It seemed like that the shiny Celebi didn't show up, because of how long I waited for, so I just caught the non-shiny Celebi, but I didn't want to do the soft reset anyways, because that annoys me.
@@bennel3588 I am late to comment on this for sure but on the off chance you get a notification I just want to say there are NO tricks like that in pokemon. Its all chance. As the other guy said it is less than 1/8000 chance so until you've reset a good 20000 times I wouldn't really start complaining my man. Anyone who tells you to walk in a certain direction or do x thing a certain number of times is lying to you.
It's a little lifegoal for me to get her to be honest, i love Celebi, one of my Favorit Pokémon and second Favorit shiny after Giratina
@ShinyCaterpie I have a question about gen 1 shiny hunting, does the DV of a shiny Pokemon in gen 1 match the DV of a shiny pokemon in gen 2 and sun/moon?
