    So, my husband is undergoing immunotherapy for lung cancer. Immunotherapy isn't as devastating as chemo but it does come with a series of big problems. My hubby was hit with an insane herpes zoster in his genital area. I will not go into detail on how bad it was, but it was bad bad bad. Of course he had to go with strong antiviral medications but none of the creams he was prescribed worked. Not only, they just made things a lot worse. He was red, burning, peeling horribly and was in so much pain he couldn't bare it. I make my own remedies and had a good amount of pure organic shea butter. I got him to apply it abundantly 3 times a day and not only did it not burn but it soothed, relieved and regenerated his skin in a matter of 3 days. He's not over it yet but shea butter has been a miracle!

    I absolutely love shea butter💛🤍. I make a whipped butter using shea butter, olive oil, grapeseed oil, avocado oil, castor oil and I whip it up using my hand mixer and I make it fluffy like whipped cream or just creamy. It works wonders on the skin and hair🕊️💛🤍. It healed the eczema on my skin and it also helped grow a friend of mine's hair back. He had a big bald spot and his hair has grew back!! It truly is a miracle butter!! 🕊️💛🤍

I went to african festival in Detroit where a vendor saw my son's skin and GAVE me shea butter and black soap. 2 weeks and eczema gone. My son is 22 now and hasnt had an outbreak since. I adore Shea butter. I came across an Irish lady on RUclips who shared her recipe for making a Shea butter whipped body cream, which uses all organic ingredients, those being : Shea butter, coconut oil, olive oil, vitamin E, aloe vera, essential oil. I absolutely love it and actually use it as my face/body cream every day, I'd never use shop brought creams again! Love your videos Heidi, I've learnt so much from you, God bless from England🙏 💜👋

    I struggled for years with very dry skin and hair before I found shea butter. I use the 100% natural with nothing else added and I use it straight, no other oils added.
    To me one of the very best things about shea is that it actually moisturizes without leaving me feeling like an oil slick. I'm no expert, but I think it must be because it is actually absorbed into the skin rather than just sitting on top of it.
    I learned some new things from your great video, thank you.

    I have used shea butter numerous days in a row to actually stop Kava Kava caused dermatitis lesions mid edidermal lesion. it is unbelievable that it can take progressively cracking, wounding skin (biochemically induced intentionally not for that it is an undesired effect that is more tolerable than the reason for the dosing specifically) and heal it almost immediately. it immediately stops the formation of dermatitis lesions and then heals them progressively over the next few hours. have done this numerous times in the past, but am recounting now specifically and am in basically awe. Amazing biochemical profile on that Shea nut....Then again, the Sahel is quite inhospitable for life it would make sense any species that is common in such a biome would be exceptional! God Bless

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  Год назад +1

      It should not make much of a difference as it would absorb into your skin and every time you shower you are washing off your natural skin oils anyway. I have been doing this kind of thing for many years and because our family always has had a lot of hair, our drain would plug up often, now that it is just the two of us, even with all the natural oils and butters I use, it is far less often than it used to be back before I started using them

I certainly won't be buying it again and I probably will be leaving it for guests to use or throwing it in the bin. Obviously it was cheap. I usually buy handmade soap bars with shea butter and they last ages and I think I will just be going back to them and they are made locally. The safety study on polyquaternium-7 was sponsored by merck company and consisted of 24-Hour trials 7-day trials 14-day trials on animals which doesn't equate to anything in real life

      The rancidity comes from fluctuation in temperature, so try to keep it where the temps are constant. I purchased the 5lb bag from Halal. I divided into 32oz jars (after using some) and keep in my cool/dry basement where the temp is pretty consistent.

      I was most intrigued by the lovely ladies in their bright attire making the shea butter by hand. Beings that I prefer to sit on the floor, I would fit in quite nicely and would love to sit there with those beautiful smiling ladies and make shea butter with them.

      Some places may claim there is but as Gudrun said, if it does not smell rancid, it is fine. Shea butter has its own unique smell that is not very pleasant so get familiar with that smell when it is new so you will know the difference. Rancidity though, does have its own unique smell that seems to be pretty universal no matter what the fat is

      It has a unique smell. Not one I care for but also not horrible. Which is why I like to mix it with herb infused oil, coconut oil, beeswax and essential oils that are good for the skin. Even without the essential oils, the other oils really give it a nice, natural light scent
