Ingredients:
• 1 ounce light rum
• 1 1/2 ounces dark rum
• 3 ounces passion fruit juice
• 3 ounces orange juice
• 1 tablespoon grenadine

Mathematically you pay down the most coslty first. So if one is $10k for 10% it costs $1000 a year, and one is $9K at 5% it costs $450 per year. So the bigger APR one is costing you way more money per year so the thought is pay that off first. It does make a difference, though it is a marginal gain.

I am so surprised George is half Egyptian and half Syrian. I would have never guessed! I thought he was a WASP white man.
Georges heritage makes him even more interesting and bravo to Ramsey productions for being inclusive.
I've wondered about his ethnicity due to his last name. And then Rachel hinted at it in the Disney World episode when George talked about getting lost there as a kid.
People considered 'WASP' were blue blood looking. Think Nordic. Light colored eyes. Narrow noses. Picture the British royals or most any European monarch. He's much more "ethnic" looking. Yes, he has white skin, but a Jewish nose. Dark eyes. Definitely would not break considered A White Anglo Saxon Protestant or WASP.

King cake is actually a tradition for 3 Kings day Jan 6 and the baby Jesus is put in the cake, the cake is cut and whoever gets the baby has to throw the next party.
King cake stems from a pagan festival celebrated by the Ancient Roman Empire. It was a festival originally called Saturnalia, was used to celebrate Saturn, the God of Agriculture. Very similar to the behavior of Mardi Gras, Saturnalia was a festival which the people could drink, gamble, party, and copulate to their hearts’ desire. First century Christians did not celebrate this.
I met up with a friend for about 6 months at a local Wendy's to talk about budgeting and getting out of debt using the Dave Ramsey method... True story!

I give my four sons one “mental health day” per semester (4 per year) for no reason if they haven’t missed for illness and have a B average or higher in their courses and no tests that day. Avoids lying to me, needless medicine given or dr appts and allows them to control their own lives. All employers have vacation/PTO time and in this high stress world - perfect attendance only wins you ribbons and awards…. An occasional day off for yourself is immensely beneficial ❤
Just saw this after hearing about it from, I think, the new FPU! Love it! As for my a drink you should try is Liquid Marijuana...we call it Angry Alligator. It has pineapple and different liquors. It really tasty. Too bad for the name.🤷♀️

George you are the best the Arabic is what got me hello friend I was born in Kuwait but I never learned Arabic I only heard my parents speaking the language and so I know Arabic here and there. I love love it. I love this show so much and Rachel I love you too
I did that with my kids in the spring. I would get them up and act like they were going to school then get to the parking lot and say…no! We’re going to go have fun today!!! We would have that day once a year

This is stupid and I don't know why the public keeps doing this... jury duty. A few ideas ----- Why doesn't the Court System plan ahead and arrange transport for retirees that would love to have something to do and share their wisdom? If I'm on trial, please let there be someone over 50 that can envision the big picture. This is actually beneficial to the situation. How in the world do they take somebody out of their job when they might have children at home? And, why are they not taking those on welfare that are not working and they have time for duty???? There's a suggestion !
It just seems there's so many other ways to do this versus taking someone out of their work.
He actually looks similar to a Syrian I know. The round eyes are a giveaway. He’s also very lucky to have his full head of hair still. ❤🎉

$17,000 per kid per year?!? We have several kids and that would be more than our annual income. Food, insurance, diapers, clothes, shoes. Maybe a few thousand per kid. Not $17k! 😁

Why lie on the personal google search stuff? We can clearly see the stuff you are answering about yourself is not in the google search recommended till you start typing the word after your name.
Maybe there’s certain personal questions they don’t feel comfortable answering
@jameshumphrey3425 if they don't feel comfortable answering the questions then don't do that in the episode. No need to lie and act like they are answering legitimate questions people are googling.

When I was 11, I said to my mum one day, “I don’t feel like going to school today.” So my mum said, “ok, stay home.” I was like… what?? But she let me stay home. It was great. But I hadn’t taken a day off (other than if I was sick) my whole school career until then. So I think that was a cool move by my mum.
Since there were four kids in our family, my mom would sometimes take one of us out of school/call us out, take that one child to donuts, and spend the day together. I will never forget it. Take those kids out for a mental health day! It's SO worth it.
Great episode! Getting out of debt is the best thing we ever did for our family and now we help others get out of debt too! This is our baby step millionaire year!!
