An amazing view on either side of the tracks! I DO so want to get to Switzerland and ride the trains. Thank you for providing such a wonderful alternative.

Omfg it’s my line !!! IR90
Das ist ein normaler Regio. IR 90 hält nicht in den kleinen Orten und fährt glaub 160 Km/h
Thanks for sharing the cab ride. Beautiful country
A short, pleasant and relaxing ‘All stations stop’ journey! 👍👏
Thank you!
That was a great ride. The scenery was terrific. The train was fast and very quiet. Thanks for showing me a part of the world that I will never see in reality.

These on screen signages are truly a learners nursery ! I'm a student without a fee though ?
Well done and thank you! Was this a 560? Thereapart, have you ever done a run a run with fuel products from Collombey? Thanks again \m/
Thanks. Yes it was a 560. Not personally, the closest I've come is St. Triphon.
👍👍👍👍🦘

I could feel the coach lean into the curves.
Great video but one question: which rolling stock was used for this trip, please?
It was an RBDe 560 push pull.
@@lorirocks777 Thank you!
Another excellent cab ride 💯
What type of train was this ?
Vmax should be 160 km/h such a nice long stretch :)
It was a RBDe 560, which only reaches 140 km/h
кльове відео робідь по больше
C'EST quel type de t.e.r la aussi ??
Is there an issue with the video? RUclips crashes when I try to play it in the iPadOS app, and just keeps refreshing when I try it in Chrome or Safari.
Strange. I'm using Brave and it's working.
It’s odd. I’ve tried other devices and it’s just a black screen and the loading circle.
Working now! 🤷🏼♀️
Are these considered INTER CITY Trains ? or long destination or Both Tourist/Commuter lines?
This train type is simply called a Regio, that stops everywhere. You can see a few IC and IR trains passing us though.
Ok Here in Canada (Ontario) We have Commuter trains in Toronto that travel 100KM +/- from Toronto. The rest are for train for travellers . We do not have ELECTRIC train lines exclusive. Our trains are Electric Diesel .
How long has Switzerland had ELECTRIC trains ONLY? With guide wires? My guess is 100 years? of Electrified rails? OH LOVE Your channel!!!! @@lorirocks777
@@KP-oe8sk Electrification in Switzerland started before WW1. There were electric trains as early as the 1890s. As Switzerland has no domestic coal deposits, coal shortage was a big issue during WW1. As a consequence, the most important main lines were electrified in the 1920s. Complete electrification was achieved during WW2 or short thereafter. However, steam engines were used until 1968 for freight trains.
Nowadays you can think of the Swiss rail system as sort of a nationwide, integrated „metro“ system. There are at least hourly, on main lines half-hourly and during rush times quarter-hourly trains between destinations. The timetable is integrated with bus routes and other means of public transport, which makes it very easy to use. Also, tickets are generally valid for a specific time, not a specific train. Which makes it even more convenient. That‘s why in our country of 9 million people, almost 1.5 million passengers are transported by rail - each day!
Thank you for your response! There is a push for electric here in Canada but we do not have the electric wires in place nor the infrastructure !!This will cost trillions of dollars to convert our system? I sort of Knew you had electric Trains since the 19th century!!! All in ALL i Love the content as your country is so Beautiful !! I will keep watching thank you! @@petermangold7524
Wann kommt Sion - Brig? :)
Vor dem Dezember
Eigentlich dürfen die doch 160 Km/h fahren ab Martigny
Die Fahrzeuge können nur 140.
@@lorirocks777 Ach so 😅
C'est dommage qu'on voit pas dans la cabine
