I own a KOR Bushman, and it is my main tool when solo hiking in the back country. Every time I remove it from the scarab, I can't help admiring the knife. It has certainly a pleasure to use, and even though it's been through its paces, it holds an amazing sharp edge. Mitch, your KOR Bushman and the custom leather scarab are works of art but also arguably one of the best bush knives on the market. The quality and craftsman's detail is second to none. Keep the videos coming. Cheers
Did i click on this thinking i would watch 5min to see what's happening? Yes - Did i end up watching the whole damn thing? Also yes. Amazing work bud, you can really appreciate the craftsmanship in these knives after watching.
thanks for taking the time to record this, I was hoping you wold finish of your crafting series you started years ago, ps your website still needs images of all the wood types for the scale options, its hard to make a choice without knowing what they look like. cheers,
First of all really nice workmanship! But you do so many dangerous things on the machines I was cringing the entire time... for example 13:06 ... just why? You're going to hurt yourself man.
Thanks. I think I take safety serious enough and have respect for the tools but this work is not without risk. I've made hundreds of knives and no real injuries yet.
Belle vidéo, mais pense a faire un manche un poil plus long pour ton confort ou celui qui t'en fait la commende, car un manche trop court, c'est pas top a vivre pour son utilisateur

Those are some beautiful scales! They perfectly compliment the build.

Haha that is a silicone mat, they are only non stick for a time and got sick of replacing them. Might have to get a nice one for filming.

Beautiful art of work 🥰🥰
Where did you get that layout tool for applying Dycom?
It's a refillable graffiti marker. You can get them off of Amazon. One of the best tools in the workshop!
What wood are you using for the scales? Is it stabilized? Looks great!
On this knife I used fiddleback Tasmania Blackwood and it has been stabilised. Thanks heaps!
Cteel ?
No forging?
No forging. I only do stock removal and then use the electric kiln for the heat treatment.
Apparently not, genius.
@@Tinkering902 Just asking, because I'm a blacksmith, genius.

Bushcraft Hunter knifes cost alot is it cheaper buy from custom made knife maker ?😂

Well let's all see some of your work to critique. Oh that's right, you don't have any.
