A real beauty. It's nice to see the purposeful way you finish your knives. Your channel is just a joy and I, as a beginner, can learn a lot here. Thank you!
Just found your channel. Never made a knife before in my life. Think I've just found myself a Winter project. Really enjoyed this video. Looking forward to watching your others...
Can I just say I really dig this knife and your style in general...would be proud to own this or any knife you make but this one's simple yet bold in it's own right... thanks for the video!
I’ve wanted to make a knife for a very long time but hit a roadblock on heat treat. I have access to a kiln and going to try with 1095. Trying to find a steel with simple heat treat. You have very nice craftsmanship.
Hey been here quiet awile watching your amazing videos Watched you in your old shop and your move to this shop and man you are like wine just getting better and better with age 😄 still a pleasure to watch you at work keep it up 👍
Two questions, first which heat treating oven are you using? And second what is the tool you are using to help fold your foil packets? Thanks man, for a nee knife maker like me your videos are amazing
Great video! In this case was there a reason why you heat treated and tempered before doing the initial grinds? From other videos it seems like normally heat treat comes after? Thanks!
When you put the pins in, is there a special drill bit or rod that you buy that is precise? I found that a 1/4 bit and maybe 1/4 brass rod is nowhere near exact.
You should try a hollow grind on your scale bevels. That would be similar to the target stocks that came on Smith & Wesson or Colt Revolvers. I think it could look amazing.
its called cryo treatment. It gives a few extra hrc (the steel gets a little harder). This is is due to the change from remainig Austenit to martensit in the steel.
I talk about the various steps and why I do certain things in my voice-over build which is on Patron 👍 www.patreon.com/Simplelittlelife
Beautiful knife! If she doesn't have a name yet, you could call her "Chubby" because of that belly on the handle 😂😂.
Thank you! Hahaha 😆👍

Super nice build. Clean!
Amazing work
Hey Jeremy, what grinding jig are you using there? Do you have a video on it?
Nice fit and finish.
Fantastic video as usual!
Beautiful work as always!
Wow, just wow 👌
The fact that there is no music makes it more satisfying...
Very nice!!!
why do you use an angle grinder to cut blade profile instead of the portable band saw
This steel work hardens quickly and dulls sawblades
@@SzyMoc_ nice, thanks for the explanation man
jordy brinkmann np mate
Do you do anything with the scrap pieces that are left when you cut the knife from the square in the beginning?
That’s a Beautiful knife, thanks for sharing!👍
Gotta love classic Loveless style.
What Countersink do you use? I have seen a lot of countersinks that chatter on metal and the one you use seems to work well.
Where did you get that metal sanding block
Beautiful knife. Thank you for making so good videos. I enjoy every one of them🙏
Where can you get one of those sanding blocks?
Beautiful.
How do you keep from burning the edge?
beautiful knife, I would like to have one😁 pozdrowienia z Polski
Love it Jeremy. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful. What grit is that final trizact belt on the bevels?
Superbo..😍
Thank you!
Great video!

Awesome craftsmanship, loved every second of it! Subbed...
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that 👍
Piece of art here!! And nice video btw, compliments!
thats a nice knife. how much do u charge for a knife like this
Gday mr Jeremy.. cool knife build.. finished product looks awesome.. any progress on my two??
Why did you make the heat treatment before grinding?
That’s nice! How did you darken the logo ?
Nice vid, and a lovely knife.
Clean! Nice video as always
Perfect
Where did you buy that band saw?
Where did you get the Cryo Tank?
Why u use foil for hardening?
What does the tin foil do?
Do you know what the Rockwell is on that blade
Nice job. What did you use to etch the Symbol on the blade?
Awesome! Saw an older cleaver video of yours. It’s fascinating watching the whole process.
Ps...definitely noticed the flames hat. ‘Berta! 👍🏼
Hahahaha, yeah!!! ‘Berta! 😆👍
Liked it before I even watched it haha. It's been a while since iv seen a knife build from you
What are you doing when you wrap it in foil? And heat it and then freeze it?
Heat treating the blade 👍
@@Simplelittlelife why wrap it?
What is the tool used in minute 8-9 to set the bevel?
*Again. A very beautiful knife. Almost perfect. Unfortunately, it has one small, but for me very significant flaw: "it's not mine" 😞*
What is the calculations you did with the calculator?
What knife sharpener is that
Beautiful knife Jeremy, thanks again for sharing your process with us

You should try it 👍
This is the first channel I’ve seen freeze the knife. What does that do for the metal? It’s very interesting.
its called cryo treatment. It gives a few extra hrc (the steel gets a little harder).
This is is due to the change from remainig Austenit to martensit in the steel.
Mega schön 👍🥰
What's the purpose of the powder ?
is that a RIKON bandsaw?
