We are working on videos to go in depth on how we made the different pieces and models. Planning the GhostKheels next. Let us know if you are interested in something else and we may publish that next!
Looks great. Have you thought about painting the brass rods black so they blend in more? I think it would be cool if you go in every so often and paint more details on a single leaf or two. It would make the tree look more unique instead of everything being the same.
Great idea! While we are taking this to tournaments we are also using it for a 40k Crusade so it was made to use with different units. We didn't talk about it but the garden side GhostKheel held a riptide right before 10th edition hit.
Truly inspiring stuff. Wouldve wanted to see some action for it to really sell it and give that suspension of dispelief a turn. I saw a knight somewhere in the start of the video and was kinda bummed it wasnt in the end product thats all. Great work, really like what you did to the models with environmental adaptation camo. Please share more like this! Keep up the good work and hope you will win the GT some day!
Thanks for the reply! We started building this right before 10th edition so was thinking of using a storm surge (knight was a place holder). I did make the spot on the garden side to fit it and plan to paint for our current 40k crusade! More RUclips videos for sure and coming soon!
We are going to release a more detailed video of the tree in the future. The STL was from Loot Studios' May 2023 Fantasy release Tales of Ryuboken Ended up being 8 prints on a Mars 2 Pro Link if it helps: site.lootstudios.com/loot/tales-of-ryuboken/

The diorama is super neat. How did you do the purple on the ghostkheel?
Base of Vallejo black primer, iron hands steel, then 10 ish coats of Eidolon Purple Clear
