I've been watching your process along the way, and you have given me motivation to do mine :) I have a 55 Bel Air as well. I am lightyears behind you lol but your videos give me hope :). Now that its not 1000 degrees anymore in my garage I can get back out there and do some work :) Gotta love those Arizona summers right lol. Awesome work!!

I had 4:56 gears in my stripped out '55 along with a 409, hooker headers, Edelbrock high rise with a 750 Carter. Redline of 5500 came at about 105mph. But what a rush
@@KevinHarrington55 I found that mine ended up quicker with the 3 speed than with the 4 speed. So I took the 4 speed out and went back to 3. The second(s) it took to change gears was useless because of the 409's torque.

Really love the stance of the 55. What wheel and tire combo are you running. Diameter, width back spacing. I have a 56 with tubs .
