Yeah, he was originally pushing the cart, so I expected him to wheel it. Instead, he walks out without taking anything and the little boy does the dirty work. When he can't handle the cart, the mom steps in and takes over. The guy figured if his kid or woman got caught, the store would go easy on them. Unfortunately, they all appear to have gotten away.

As an employee, you are not allowed to stop any customer stealing or not. The safety of the customers and employees is the number ONE priority for Home Depot. Don't forget the cameras and the credit card paper trail left by the female customer. They will be caught that's for sure. The actual perpetrator is the woman for pushing the cart out, and the man is an accessory to the crime. The kids will be taken by social services, and another family has been destroyed by their own actions.

20yrs ago I used to know someone like that, he and his wife included their children to theifing at the dept. stores, finally they got caught, he and his wife went to prison for child abuse and slew of charges, kids went off to foster care and therapy. Way to keep the family together.

Her last husband was shot to death when he kidnapped one of the owners wives and child of (there were 3 owners at the time) Coca-Cola. He even came out unarmed, with his hands up. And growing up with major drug dealers, bank robbers, thieves and a couple murderers is NOT a good place for kids to be. It's made me extremely anti-criminal though.

I grew up with hard core criminals (not punks like these petty thieves) because my mom was attracted to them - but I'm as straight as it gets. I don't break the law or even lie because I saw what crime does. The guys my mom was with, most of their father's died in prison. And my moms boyfriends ended up going back to prison time and time again (and probably died there) or having the feds seize everything they owned. Her last husband was shot to death when he kidnapped one of the owners wives and child of (there were 3 owners at the time) Coca-Cola. He even came out unarmed, with his hands up. And growing up with major drug dealers, bank robbers, thieves and a couple murderers is NOT a good place for kids to be. It's made me extremely anti-criminal though.

At first I thought the mother was going to have the child push the cart out the door, since he's likely to get a lenient punishment as a minor, but at the last second she does the dirty work. Unconditional love at its finest.
The son pushes the cart infront of the alarm post as instructed and the wife checks to see if the alarm go off and looks back if any staffs coming forward. Maybe the price label is not there. They are pro! That is why Walmart has a receipt checker.
Cute. Buy the rake, flash the receipt and make everyone think the mower's also paid for. Teaching the kids all the ins and outs of stealing in a nice family outing.
She paid for the rake on a credit/debit card. Loss prevention can hunt them down. Several years ago at Christmas time, I watched an elderly couple walk right out the door past customer service with a cart FULL of merchandise from Bed Bath & Beyond. Sickening. I don't know how these people sleep at night.

With parents like this the future of the kids is secured.
Family goes shopping. Chooses a PUSH lawn mower, when they could have gotten the self propelled, but didn't think of it. It wasn't the price, he/she just didn't notice. Casually steals it, with the kids helping. Loads up the stolen mower into his jazzy car and goes home. Just another day shopping. Meanwhile, most people there are waiting in line, to pay for their items.
