This was one of your best videos ever. It had surprise chicks, a new gadget ( the seed broadcaster), Al getting juked by the hen, goat antics, Figaro and Pluto antics, and fun watching Gina try to guess the surprise.

Al, maybe you have to be from the south if you eat food with pepper sauce. I eat foods with a lot of pepper sauce. Al, you may be picking rocks up in your old age. Friends picked up rocks for over 40 years on the same crop land. God bless America.

That must be the smallest bottle of Tabasco i have ever seen..it was perfect for your needs and it worked !!!! Animals can be hard work but when they make us laugh it can make our day. Hey Al! Great news! That's great that you have 3 new chicks. I brought home 4 buff Orpington and 2 mystery chicks last week while property hunting in Columbia County NY. The last 5 are out in the chicken tractor I built this spring. Lots of little baby chicks here and we are having lots of fun watching them grow!

I think you are so smart, because of all the rain, preparing the acreage bit by bit. Instead of raking the whole 4acres, just do a section. Make the section just big enough to be able to rake and seed in a day. That way you get a section done every time there's a break in the rain. 💜🌞🌵

I was sure that some chickens would be born from the chickens that are loose with the pigs, I could tell by the sound of the chickens. As I do not speak English, I was waiting to be born. I had to come to google translator to comment, I love your videos, congratulations to the family and to the love shown to animals! I'm Brazilian and I live in Japan. I hug you all and thank you.

Google came up with a great quote - 'As I do not speak English, I was waiting to be born'. I know what you mean, but it came out funny! But impressive that you learnt chicken language too (Crikey, what'll google do with that, back to... Portuguese or Japanese?).

I am catching up on videos - Aug 31st we got flooded! Over 10 inches of rain in 4 hours, water in the basement, a river in the back yard, water in the garage, a river in the back alley.... nothing compared to some of our neighbors, the water was pushing up from the ground! With all the rain we had this summer the groundwater table is so high, we even made international news! My daughter was in England and texted to see if we were ok, we were on the news there!
Thunderstorms on the way again, but then finally cooler and drier weather!
3 little chicks, that is adorable!!!!! Those pigs sure are getting pushy!
Your videos are just a joy!

@@LumnahAcres the rain this summer was unreal!!! Then again very little watering the garden 😊 there are always 2 sides to everything, even a flooded basement: it needed cleaning (just not that much 😂)
Now I wonder what the other side of your broken drone is....

It was always treat to see a new baby out on the farm growing up. what may be a easier and cheaper way give anti slip & abrade the goat hooves. When I was in the Coast Guard, we would make the decks & walk ways non slip was paint them first, while still wet cover with the aggregate. After it was dry brush off the loose stones then roll a coat of paint on top.

Morning, Moose! Morning Al! Morning Baby chickies! So about how much are you feeding the pig ladies? Have you named your drone? I am glad Olivia is still diggin school! I am glad she has a priority of the things she likes. All of my boys are still loving school. The 3 older ones are in marching band and there is a game tonight so they are totally excited! Is the tabasco sauce a nursing deterrent? The hot sauce doesn't irritate her skin? Couldn't you use something else like iodine or some fragrant oil? Have a great day! I hope the rain dries up for you guys at least for a little bit. Love from our family to yours!

The chicks...that's so funny.A few days ago we found 11 baby guinea keets with mama.Had to take them away from her, just getting too cold at night.Problem is there wasn't a place to put them.We hatched out some chicks and turkeys, so have them in one side of the chicken coop under lights.Ended up bringing the keets in the house (mud room), under lights for now.Not good timing, but happy to have them :)

Here's a funny weaning story for you. I had a nanny goat that had twins and one adopted kid to nurse. She did wonderful. In the mean time I always get a bottle beef calf in the spring to raise for meat. Well I weaned the calf at 2 months old, not a problem it was eating grass and calf starter grain. This calf soon discovered that my nanny goat would let him nurse. So she was now nursing 3 kids and a calf. Well eventually the calf got bigger then the goat and it would literally lift her back end off the ground. She just couldn't get away from him. I even tried to make a bra for her which stayed on one day. Winter came and they were separated for about 6 months. So now he was a one year old black angus steer. Do you thing he forgot that was his "mama" no way!! As soon as I let her out with her new twins into that same pasture as the big animals, he went right towards her and tried to drink from her again. I couldn't believe that he hadn't forgotten her. It was very frustrating for her, poor goat!!

Hi! Ever thought of making a chicken crook (like a shepherds crook)? Basically it's a long length of sturdy wire with one end bent over to make a hook (no sharp ends!). You can then catch a chicken by it's leg same as a shepherd catches sheep. Should save on the running and chasing! 🙂

Awww sorry about your drone. Was it still under Warrenty? I had my hubby watch that follow me episode of yours and he thought it was really cool. I like your music you played in the truck. We seeded a field 10 years ago of purple cone flowers and black eyed Susan’s and they are still producing! Surprise chicks! Do you eat chickens that are done producing eggs? Love your videos. Thank you for making them. You are very encouraging. ❤️✝️👍🏼

Looks over at pile of unstacked wood: "Awww it, hasn't stacked itself yet (gives disappointing sigh)" ...LOL!! That cracked me up!!

I recently bought Nigerian Dwarf milk goat's and I am definitely going to try that goat test tape with Tabasco! The baby is 12+ weeks! I hate separating them, if this works maybe I won't have to anymore!

Mr Figaro had such fun with the red truck he's probably trying to take the new one out for a spin, too.
Wood tends not to stack itself, it's funny that way.
Congrats on the new chicks! Wherever could she have been safe hiding out for 21 days?
