Just saw this review Lloyd, I really enjoyed it. In fact I enjoyed it that much I toddled off to Bywell today and bought a mx2000s they had in the shelf 😂🙈 had to sell every other gun I had in the cabinet to afford it mind 😂. Looking forward to getting it back in 6 weeks
Super review Lloyd. Its interesting how much you can see that you enjoyed reviewing these two Perazzi sporters, whilst still owning a K-80 I believe during this time frame. While the K-80 is definately is great sporter in its own right, the Perazzi has dynamics unlike any other shotgun in its category. Really super reviews, thank you again !!........ Rob G. in MO, USA
@@lloydyp Yes sir. I have watched your video showing your trip to Perazzi factory, many times over. Incredible gun you had built for you. I agree that to really appreciate a bespoke gun such as this, a trip to their factory to be fitted, and pick out wood, rib style, etc., is the only way to go. Keep up the great work and all the best to you.
sold, i know a guy with a nice Perazzi for sale and i never took him serious. Now i need to take a look at the Perazzi right away. I have to have a perfect working trigger or i shoot terribly bad, triggers can mess with my world. In my mind i needed a DT11, and Perazzi were for.... well, for people who love Perazzi
Another fantastic review ! Was wondering however, why Perazzi chose to go with coil springs on their "S", over their incredibly fast (lock time) leaf springs on their standard MX2000. I'm still surprised on how some shooters underestimate the importance of a fine trigger ! I truly believe you won't find a dedicated competitor shooting a "sloppy" trigger. Once again I find your review spot on.........and look forward to your next. Regards, Frank
As the mx8 detachable trigger you can change the leaf spring if broken.. But in mx12 non detachable trigger they use the coil spring that will not gonna brake .. My shot gun is mx12 in 2000 grade.
Thanks for putting these videos out. I've come back to the Perazzi ones multiple times. My reason for writing today is because I had to bring my Winchester 21 up to a shop in the Northern part of NYS for rib work. The shop stocks Perazzi as well as several other brands. Although I'm NOT in the market for a new gun I made a mistake. Big mistake, H U G E mistake! I started handling a few of the Pre owned Perazzi guns that are on the rack. And now I'm looking at all the info I can and thinking "if I sell a kidney I can purchase one without digging into savings". Do I need one? Of course not. Do I want one? OH YEAH! Thanks again and keep the great content coming.
Has anyone else cringed, as Loyd was handling these guns with his ring on. At one point heard your ring smack the side of the stock, and then grab the top rib as you dragged it down. I'm a hands on guy myself, however if these are not your guns may I suggest taking your rings off during the review. Still a fan brother!
Thanks Paul, I wouldn't like to make a sweeping statement on that without checking the barrel proof marks. A guide for proof marks can be found here: basc.org.uk/technical/ suggest if you are looking at buying a gun you get the seller to send you pics of the proof marks on the barrels and monobloc.
Thanks, Wolverine. I am afraid I can't comment on the Gamba as I have never actually handled one. Based on what I have read they appear thoughtfully designed and well put together but having never seen one let alone shot one I cant comment.
Very different guns Wolverine. I am genuinely torn. Thinking about the important thing, e.g. fit, the "standard" stock dimensions on the blaser are a better fit on me out of the box than most perazzi, but that may not be the case for you. Every perazzi is different, as are we, so honestly I would suggest shooting as many as you can get your hands on before making a decision. Both are excellent guns, but again due to the individual nature of perazzi guns, it's really hard to say what you will like best.

I believe George Digweed is quite a dedicated shooter using a coil spring gun (MX2000S).
Bryce Schou yes you are correct and there is no difference in feeling between them
Fantastic review!
Thanks Tim
Great video , many thanks 👍🏴
Thanks for watching

Lol thanks man. Hope you don't get in trouble with the Mrs, and if you do, just blame me.
Good information. Although I did cringe everytime I could hear your ring hit some wood and slide up the rib...ouch...
Thanks for watching, and thanks for your concern. My ring is fine.
mr llyod ...i hope if you make a review on perazzi high tech and high tech s
I assume you have seen these by now?

My wedding ring is softer than steel, and it hast been off my finger since i put it on 7 years ago.
I shoot a comp1 200.000 rounds and still going very strong, two barrel set 32and 28 Perrazzi’s are Deadly 👍
👍🏻 thanks for watching.
Morning Lloyd can you please tell me if a 2014 Mx2000s would it be steel proofed ? Love your channel 👍👍

Fantastic review LIoyd .Now tell me my brother . Perazzi MX2000s vs Renato Gamba Daytona K13.Thank You
Thanks, Wolverine. I am afraid I can't comment on the Gamba as I have never actually handled one. Based on what I have read they appear thoughtfully designed and well put together but having never seen one let alone shot one I cant comment.
Hello Lloyd, if you ever go to Coniston Cold mid week, I'll bring a Gamba for you to try.
Thanks man, ill shout if I am ever over that way :)
So why did you sell your own Perazzi Lloyd?
Because I couldn’t afford my new gun without selling the Perazzi to pay for it. 🤷♂️
Hi Lloyd, just wondering if you had any thoughts on the new perazzi high tech s?
MrSako85ss not yet, although I will be reviewing one soon so keep your eyes open.
Hi Lloyd, are the perazzi high tech similar to the Browning 725's back bored and center balanced technology. Just wondering.
HI LIoyd Crazy question Second hand Perazzi MX2000 or brand new Blazer f3 luxus low rib .Thank You

Which choke would you personally choose if going fixed (for the shooting you do)?
3/8ths and 5/8ths.
Thanks!
There is no detectable difference in lock time between coil and leaf springs for Sporting Clay use.
Agreed
That is the reason not to get married, the damn ring damages the guns.
No, it does not.
I take my ring off when cleaning the guns
If the engineering is so good, why can't they get the wood to metal fit better?
There's nothing wrong with the wood to metal fit on any of the Perazzis I have tested. Can you explain of give examples of what you are talking about?
I hate it when a youtuber does an disassembling or assembling and don't cover it on camera.
Fair.
what song is that playing?
It's the overture from The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart. musopen.org/music/1576/wolfgang-amadeus-mozart/overture-to-the-marriage-of-figaro-k-492/
Thank you kindly Llyod
You always have great music in the background
So - will the 'old Remington' be going then?
Still in the cab, old faithful.
Did you get sorted with another gun then? What did you go for?
too many remarks and demonstrations not on camera, can't see what your doing?
