Hi Tracey. Sorry for the slow reply. You can fold the total gym flat. First you pull the pin you use to adjust the incline and lower the rails and glide board to the ground. Secondly you pull out a spring loaded pin with a knob on the end you'll find below one of the pulleys to lower the vertical part at the back of the machine to horizontal. Thirdly you fold the machine in the middle being careful to keep the inner rail in contact with the inner edge of the rollers below the glide board or remove the glide board before you fold the machine. It's a bit easier said than done and not something you'd want to do everyday unless you have to because of a lack of space. I'm sure it's easier with the newer models. My total gym is 15 years old. is there any way you can fold this flat to put away every day..i have been given one of this model, but not sure how to fold it flat. Thanks.
