    Finally a video I can work with. Thankyou Thankyou Thankyou. I was about to give up in frustration. I’m so happy with my few rows and feel like I could learn this. Best video ever ❤

    Try 36! The start chain is easy. The next two rows are a nightmare, the holes keep closing up. After that WOW, goes like a charm. Problem is, it take up so much of my time. I'm having so much fun. After 80 years of knitting this is new and your videos are good to watch and easy to follow. Thanks lots. Dennis. ps; I am now 85 😁

    Hi, I’m giving you the feedback you asked for from the perspective of a blind person. It is difficult to say whether or not I could learn to crochet from your video because I can already do it but I can say that you are very clear and very descriptive, I particularly liked how you compared holding the crochet hook to other things which made it easy to visualise. You also describe in great detail how everything is supposed to look which is actually surprisingly helpful because if a blind person knows how something is supposed to look, then we can judge how it is supposed to feel.
    If your other videos are as clear as this one, then you definitely have a thumbs up from me.

    Thank you for this video. This is the best one I've watched with very clear instructions. I have looked at many, but you have done an excellent job in explaining. Really appreciate your patience and not going too fast. My nana was an expert at crochet, but sadly I didn't get to learn from her before she passed. I was always hoping to learn and now feel I have finally made progress.

    Thank you!! I haven't attempted crochet since I was a teenager and got so frustrated I through it across the room and vowed I'd never do it again. 40 years later I'm ready to give it a go. I've been watching YT's for a few weeks and this is the first one that has made me feel like I can do this. I'm determined to master this....I'll be watching all your videos as I progress. Thanks again....I'm very grateful!!

      You can absolutely do this. Let me know if there's a particular aspect that is confusing, and I'll do my best to address it so that others can see it as well. Welcome to the channel!

    This video helped a lot of things just make sense. I have ordered smoother yarn to start out with. I will definitely be following along with this series!

      It's called Bernat Maker. You may be able to find it at Walmart or Michael's or Yarnspirations.com.

    Hi! I feel like I am good with the slipknot and feel comfortable with holding the hook.
    However, holding the yarn in my left hand feels like I'm 3 years old with chunky crayons. The yarn is falling off my fingers.
    I'll keep on trying 😊

    Thank you. 31 tries later I think I have got it. Problem - when I pull through the 2 loops I usually have 2 stitches come through and that is not correct. How do I avoid this? Regards, D.

    • @MycrochetteacherWendy
      @MycrochetteacherWendy  5 месяцев назад

      Try tipping your hook down, so the point comes through at the base of the stitch and doesn't catch another one on the way.
