Good job Bill, I picked up a old blue Shindaiwa commercial trimmer from the dump 2 years ago. Fixed it up, gave it to my son and he's still using it. 👍
It sounds kinda like a modern Echo, but somehow bigger, a slightly deeper "pop." If it wasn't heavy, I might have decided to keep it. You don't see Big Son on this one, all work and no doughnuts. 🤣
@@haneyoakie14 It's a 2 stroke, but it's a hybrid, for all I know it might have valves? I didn't have to get that deep into t before it cranked right up 🙂 Now I am going to have to go look
@@GuysPlayingWithTools my guess, based on age, is it’s a good ole 2 stroke, none of that fancy modern crap to mess it up. As you said before, it’s a chainsaw engine on a weedwacker.
@@GuysPlayingWithTools I’ve never had one, but I’ve heard that they are very finicky, similar to the Stihl 4 mix issues. I do have a few Shindiawa pure 2 cycle products and I like most of them. But my old T282 is very cold natured and top heavy, but it is very powerful. I have never seen a Swisher branded handheld product before, that struck my interest. Again, great work and video, thanks sir.
@@GuysPlayingWithTools Ours is on the way, or supposed to be. The wood stove is gone but the gas logs worked very well last night. I hope the electric co-op keeps the lights on. The zillionaire goffers demand it even if that have whole house gas generators. Stay out of jail, Bill and Sweetie. Padded adjoining cells. BOTH of ours know us too well.
We are hammered in with snow today(yeah, snow in Dallas a couple inches so far)
Saved another od machine Bill👍
I love it when I get something different. 😀

@ well you mention work and he am-scrays. 🤣🍩🤣
Or should I say he’s as scarce as teeth at a meth giveaway. 😳🙈
@Big_Johns I said doughnut, I was sure that would work. 😉
i'm first love your video's i have never seen one of those
Yeah you are 👍
In 2008 they changed names and incorporated with one you know. Echo
@GuysPlayingWithTools I did not know Wow

@@haneyoakie14 🤣
glad to see it's running again
It's pretty old but it's built to last. 👍
I've never seen one of these before ever !
In 2008-2009 they became part of a bigger company and were renamed... Echo.(I was surprised when I looked it up)
Nice save Bill,
Thanks. This is a pretty cool piece of gear.
Shindawia power hour with Bill 💸💵😂
Bill at the US Amphetamine Speedway! Power! Power! Power!
@@haneyoakie14 This one might have been strong enough to run a chainsaw, the perfect size for spinning string LOL
🤣
@@GuysPlayingWithTools LoL 🤣
He knows me well. 🤣
3:50 you also can rule out the valves as a problem.
@@haneyoakie14 2 stroke 🙂
@ yep. That’s why we rule out the valves

Great video, from the height of the engine, I assume that was one of those hybrids that Shindiawa made.
It was. I don't get to see them often at all

@CarlFerguson Swisher was new to me too. It's at least 16 years old, that's when they rebranded to Echo.
Shindiawa, redmax, echo my favorite true 2stroke. Unlike those Stihl 4mix crap😂
We think alike. 4 stroke weed eaters are *evil*
My personal is an Echo.
@@GuysPlayingWithTools 💯 agree the echo 2620 or echo 2620t my favorite. Even the echo's at home Depot with the 21cc are 👍.
@MinibikeAbe-89 I fell into a perfect srm 225 last year for nearly free. It had a broken plug 🙄
It's been my go to ever since
You can take that rig and trim snow drifts if all the lying weather prophets get it right for this weekend. Stay warm, Yall!
In Dallas we are ready for up to 0" of snow. It's a little over 2" so far, and the city is closed until further notice. 🤣
