Hi Bill. I hear that there's a whole dedicated assembly line in China that has started up just to provide your channel with replacement carburetors! It's a quick and reliable fix, most times. By the way, you are looking young today. Must be food at the new senior's home??
🤣 I can only imagine. I admit half the new carb I use are actually rebuilt carbs off previous machines, but I still get at least one or 2 a month. You would be surprised at how many of the "OEM" carbs are Chinese, I wish I could say it's not true but all the big names are using them now. The bodies are all the same, it's all about the diaphragms and gaskets. I was wondering if anyone would notice that I grew 3 days worth of facial hair in 30 seconds on this one. 😮
@bigsonslawncare It's one of those things I only do because it makes regular guys having a hard time getting the grommet in feel better about their struggle.
Bill, i warned you about taking those carbs off with a 2-pound hammer as you may damage the carb! Lol. 😂 You seem to have good luck with aftermarket carbs. 👏👍📽🇺🇲
I don't see carbs with dents in them very often. People can be rough with their toys. I do get the occasional bad carb. Maybe 1 in 50. When I get one, it's just about always the fuel gaskets flipped, and you can tell because they don't prime.
Did you install the old carb back on it? Just curious cuz the one carb has wgat looks like a brand new primer bulb? Just my opinion... Me personally, id shoot some 2stroke mix in there instead of starting fluid or carb spray. I know its just a little bit, but it freaks me out😂😂
I used the new one. I was curious about the damage to the old one, so I rebuilt it while waiting for the new one. I go back and forth on 2 stroke fuel vs. starter fluid. I usually only use it to see if machines will kick before spending anything on them. 🙂
Saved another one
Gotta love 2 strokes 👍

Hehehehehe love it!
Geritol !
I have torn up so many of those Grommets😣
Every time I do one with the camera running, I think, "This is gonna make me look clumsy"

Good job Bill, another Echo saved from the scrap pile. Aftermarket carbs get a bum rap sometimes for sure. Have a great weekend!
Thanks Larry, they really aren't as bad as people think

Nice job Bill, by chance did you buy that one off Big Krispy? If so you may want to have the serial number ran by your local PD. 🤣😲🤣
I am not sure where it came from but I always watch for suspicious Krispy Kreme glaze when I buy them. 🥰
Actually this one looks Oh so familiar also made me run out and check the trailer!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I'd hate for someone to FIND your strimmer Big Krispy. 🤣🤣
That suspicious guy hanging around your trailer at night only looks like me. I have an alibi. 🤣
If his equipment gets stolen, the police will follow the ants. 🤣

Hey bill. Want some snow. Great job on that one
I don't think it would last long. It's cooled off quite a bit, but 73 is still a bit warm for snow. 🤣
Love the hat..
It was my wife's idea. 🙄 She likes it
You'd take that hat off and let loose your flowing locks you'd do a lot better wit that tank grommet. CHEERS, Billiam!
They always fight back. I am not sure hair in my eyes would help 🤣
@@GuysPlayingWithTools Not in your eyes. Flopping around in the back. Ask the statistician inside. SHE'll know!
I kinda like the hat, I usually only wear it when I am running around with the top down. I can't convince her to cut it shorter
@@GuysPlayingWithTools Well, SHE's the one with the bail money and paying the retainer to the lawyer. You iz where you iz, Pal!
@lewiemcneely9143 🤣
Rebuild the old carburetor or buy a OEM carburetor the choice is your's it All depends on your money 🤑 💸💵
I usually go aftermarket since the stock carbs are all Chinese anyway. 🤩
@@GuysPlayingWithTools well at least you got it running again Bill 💸💵
@robertmailhos8159 I was a little worried about this one. I don't remember why it went into the timeout corner. 🤣
@GuysPlayingWithTools it was in the timeout corner because it was misbehaving,,😂🤣
@@robertmailhos8159 Usually that corner is reserved for machines going to the scrap guy. I am glad I went through them before he got them.
