This one was one of those where a pretty good looking kart was hiding under all the leaves and dirt and debris. LOL I can't say some of the words that got edited out of the second video, let's just say I wasn't impressed with some f the mechanical changes this poor kart had to go through before I got it.

My wife has a vertical fan that had a bushing but needs a bearing. Noisiest fan I ever owned. I walk over and hit it and it quiets down for a minute or two and then it’s noisily again

For me, it needs bearings for me to call it a bearing lol

Oh yeah, that was kinda a mess. 🙄🤣

She came out nice in the end. 🙂

Usually I edit my own comments out. I was annoyed at how dangerous this kart was and left a couple in. I did the same in the next video 🤣🤣

@PioneerRifleCompany This was a typical invention, 30 failures getting it right. I completely wrecked a tube drilling holes all over it and taping them up and drilling more holes before I discovered that an inch or so from the bottom worked best.🤣 Don't go through the internal pipe, just the outside. It's an air vent to loosen up the material. It can still clog but "burping it" like I do in the video instantly clears it. 👍

I absolutely hated the performance before I added the vent hole, so I studied the difference between the factory pickup tube and the "best" aftermarket pickups, and the only real design difference I found was flow at the base of the pickup tube. The hole creates airflow above the end of the tube and loosens the media around the pickup hole. I wrecked 1 of them while experimenting with the ideal place for the hole.I kept taping the holes shut and going lower because I originally thought higher would be better. It wasn't, lol

Hi Brandon. If you want, you can email me at bill.cell@charter.net and I will call you back and we can talk about everything I have learned about sandblasting over the last year. I only covered the big difference makers in the video. The dust collector is a "gotta have", I started out thinking "more light" but that didn't help at all. I expect a drop in efficiency over time due to the impeller(?) being beaten my the blast media but I haven't seen anything yet. I use the plexiglass window that came with it but not the peel away stickers, they fog up way too fast and a new plexi is under $30. I am still on the original window with no protection but I have a replacement sitting off to the side. You can(gently) use a heat gun on the inside of it to clear it up if it gets fogged if you don't want to buy a new one.

@ I just see where people use a single pane 12x24 piece of glass under the 2 pane glass that’s included with with cabinet, I plan on putting rivnuts for the glass to make change out easier I’ll end up sealing the cabinet anyways Light upgrade is a must Then convert to gravity fed instead of syphon fed system - probably upgrade the blaster and put in a foot pedal I’ve debated about making the top a flip top unit I just bought one of those dust extractors from harbor freight just a bit ago - the suction power feels pretty weak honestly putting my hand over the inlet, it does blow a substantial amount of air though I’ve got a cyclone type part that goes on a 5 gallon bucket and couple of shop vacuums to compare with

@brandongary7649 I would suggest using it for a while before any changes past modding the stock pickup tube and adding a dust collector. Unless you use it all day, it works really well without any other mods. If I could change *anything* on the current setup, I would make the cabinet a foot deeper and 6" higher. Dust collection is about volume of air, not velocity, try your collector, it will most likely surprise you(and be 10 times quieter than a bucket). If you are keeping the dust down you really don't need more light, the stock light is more than enough. I promise, I was thinking exactly like you are when I started out with it and I did a *lot* of experimenting before ending up where I did. Like I said, my biggest complaint is size, but it wouldn't fit where I want it if it were bigger.

@@GuysPlayingWithTools people trim that wire rack down to get more internal cabinet height/volume and as far as height goes if you’re talking about ergonomics, build a platform or there’s people selling 3d printed risers with locking casters - I am tall person and plan on raising the height And far as air source - I’ve got a 240v 80gal 2 stage 7.5HP 175psi IR compressor setup that has high cfm ;D

@brandongary7649 I did think about moving the rack down, but I am prepping for a move to the Midwest and will have room for something a lot bigger. You definitely have all the air you could ever need!

If you fish around a little, you can get a pretty good deal on one. Don't be afraid to ask for deals, I got this one at an equipment supplier and got 40% off after asking for a deal.

@rogermcdonald1607 I probably said it 4 times, you really need a big compressor to make it work right. I tried for a week, then have up and went looking for deals on compressors. When I plugged this one in, everything fell into place. 👍 (It was worth it)

It was surprising to find 3 nearly identical mowers in one place but, you take what life gives you 🙂.

@GuysPlayingWithTools one of those mowers had a all metal front end where the other 2 had the plastic front end I like All metal with no plastic front end

@@robertmailhos8159 They all had the same frame but one didn't come with the plastic nose piece. You might think it was lower end but it was the only one with electric start. Go figure 🤔

@GuysPlayingWithTools I have the bloens brand of mower that is equipped with the plastic front end which is a pain when trying to mulch up leaves they're being blown out of the front which is a little bit more work trying to keep them under the mower to get them chopped up

@@robertmailhos8159 I use a JD rider for that, I run around in circles blowing them towards the center, then bag up whatever survives the circles. I have too many trees to do it with a pusher, you would find me passed out in the yard LOL.
