    So, in short, she hated her husband more than she loved her son. This tragedy sadly repeats itself much too often.

    • @86sineadw
      @86sineadw Год назад +18

      Actually The strongest predictive factors of maternal child homicide are maternal age, education, lone parenting and late or absent prenatal care. Men, as opposed to women, who kill their children are more likely to kill older children, are more likely to be unemployed, are more likely to be facing separation from their spouse, and are more likely to abuse alcohol or drugs. Fathers are more likely to kill when there is doubt about paternity and when the child is viewed as an impediment to their career
      So yes sadly this happens, both men and women commit filicide.
      But the contexts are vastly different.

    • @86sineadw
      @86sineadw Год назад +16

      @@johnhawthorn5393 It was once thought that mothers commit filicide at a greater rate than fathers. But more recent evidence suggests that fathers are equally or more likely to murder their offspring. Younger children are at a greater risk of fatal harm from mothers. But older children are more often killed by their fathers, and it has been found that more men than women committed homicides in which the victims were their biological children, rather than stepchildren.
      I think the point is that circumstances and context are important when we are labeling one population as the main perpetrator. I'm sure it's culturally dependent and socioeconomic status plays a role as well. So when we check statistics, it will vary from country to country. I wouldn't be surprised if income inequality, access to free health care, and population density play a role too.

I am also self aware, completely at peace with my past, self teaching and motivated to always improve following God's path for my life. I have become my own doctor of psychiatry when the pill mill neurologist and stigma indoctrinated psychologist takeover of private medicine forced me to, even though it was Welfare and Child Support that indirectly causes the seizures that ended my career and ability to have a Driver's License anymore. No help, just homelessness after I couldn't keep a job because of "untreatable" seizures, until my Adopted Parents got me an attorney and I finally got onto SSDI five years later with no payback for the years of paying a doctor to judge the seizures my fault, eventually supporting my suicidality instead of being honest about what was really wrong and the medication I actually needed, or at least referring me to a psychiatrist because I couldn't afford the sleep specialist and the $10,000 and two months of testing three states away to force him to tell the truth without all the other trouble and mental health penalties on my record as I was picked up out of public by ambulance as someone else freaked out, over and over never solving the actual seizures, with the hospital bills off into the seven digits until I finally could figure it all out on my own and retire to taking care of myself. Mental illnesses (aka personality disorders) start in the womb by Satanic people having children outside of Spiritual wedlock.

    We are told not to talk to strangers because they can lure us away, harm us and kill us. But what is it like to be lured away, lulled into thinking we are on a wonderful trip and be murdered by our mother, the very person that is supposed to protect us from people that did the very thing that she did to her son?

    I hate when I hear that one parent told the other that they will lose custody, or never see their child again. Unless that parent is a danger to the child. Otherwise that is a threat that should never be made. Ultimately it hurts the child, or worse pushes a parent into doing something unthinkable. I hope that boy is out there somewhere, alive and doing well, but it seems highly unlikely.

    Man what kind of a mother who claim to love her child and then kill him?!!. Mother or father, if your fate is doomed, please don't involve your children in your mess. "found people they will take care of him"!!!!. Who's the best to take care of a child but his own cherishing mother. A selfish mother claiming to be all cherishing and loving. What a disgrace!!

    Thank you for sharing your insight on this tragic case, Dr. Grande. Yes, Timmothy was murdered by his mother because he was viewed merely as an extension of herself, and she could no longer endure the troubles that overwhelmed her by having that part of her forcibly removed by her son's father.

    I just couldn't understand what the motive was for hiding his body and lying on the suicide note. I realized that she probably cared alot about her projected image. She didn't want the world to believe she actually killed her son, let alone admit it to herself and put it in writing. She wanted the world to believe after she was gone that Tim was out there safe and he would never be found. It was like a warning saying you'll never find him so don't bother looking cause you're wasting time. Cause I buried him deep in the forest and can't admit it to myself. That's my two cents.

    Thank you Dr Grande finally someone sane sees and says the truth.!! I ger very frustrated with people who believe that he's still alive ."oh he's with the Amish "-"oh she handed him off to somebody "...you know I can see that maybe the dad or somebody has to believe these things to deal with such a tragedy, but I mean the writing is clearly on the wall.. especially with the dirt and grass and whatever on her car. I tell you what though if I was that father I would be walking 500 miles to every single spot I could dream of to look for my son's body. it seems like maybe his delusion that the child is alive has stopped him or law enforcement apparently from doing all they can to find the body. it seems like almost nobody can say the words that they believe the child is DEAD..you are the first person I've ever seen that can see and say the truth .and thank you so much for that.

    Good morning Dr. Grande, what a sad video. I agree with you that Timmothy is dead. Amy couldn't see beyond see own view of reality. If she couldn't have Timmothy, no one could. So she killed him. There are so many things in this case that the public never got to know. Like the Triaminic kids cough medicine bottle found in the hotel- did Timmothy have a cold? Amy bought her son a lot of items pointlessly if she was just going to kill him. However, I agree it is the most likely scenario. I don't know if this could have been avoided, but parents should never use the threat of taking the child away from the other. It's selfish and it could also endanger the child.

    Kid's definitely dead. Too bad they didn't use the dogs around nearby spots matching the evidence on her car and verify it.
