The Wizamet's are the old Polsilvers that were made in Lodz. Poland before Gillette bought them and started making them in St. Petersburg, Russia. I think both are now out of production with the price of the Polsilvers rising each month. The Polish Wizamet's have been out of production for awhile and were considered an excellent blade. You kind Sire, are bananas :D but I wholeheartedly commend your enthusiasm! Love the videos! I must say I feel obliged to blame you for my recent acquisition of Palmolive sticks & nacet blades alongside a 3one6. I salute you Sir.
@@kevyshaves4109 ...little UPDATe: darn seller in Jordan was a total scam and I almost loose $12 in the process (luckily I got reimbursed). Now, it's not the money what hurts, but getting robbed out of that excitement of trying a new blade. Oh well, live and learn. Anywho my whining reminds me of Brick Top in the movie Snatch: "If I throw a dog a bone, I don't want to know if it tastes good or not." Lol
Very nice razor! Glad you got the SS handle the Alum looks not worth it. So is this razor better than the Rusky you tried the other day??? But then....I don't have another puppy to pawn for this one.....
Fantastic shave brother! You really showed that Palmolive who’s boss! I personally love that shave stick myself too. It’s budget friendly and always consistent & not to mention, the scent is friendly even for those who are sensitive to strong scents. After hearing about Palmolive, I’m glad that I have got two sticks of my own and will not let them go! Beautiful razor Kevy, I can’t wait to get that razor myself down the line. It’s absolutely gorgeous! 🙌🏼😍🙌🏼
My EJ 3one6 is a fabulous bit of kit (I've got the same model as you). Twice. Some wet shavers are surprised and perturbed about it being more aggressive than a DE89 head. However, I find it to be smooth and efficient. The rib, post and slot mechanism securely clasps the blade and ensures perfect alignment every time (so far). Its half the price of a Feather stainless steel safety razor whilst achieving a similar level of craftsmanship. Good value, surely? :-)
Hello, Kevy how are you, I'm viewing your this video for fourth or fifth time, as you have used EJ 316 with aluminum handle red colored one and this one with all the stainless steel knurled handle, can you please tell is there any difference between the shave quality or not, I purchased one with aluminum handle some time back but now I want to purchase this one also, please suggest whether that will be a wastage of money only if the both shave similar, thanks and regards.
Today my mom bought me my first DE razor!!! Edwing Jagger 3D Chrome, such a beautiful razor to start in the game. Can't wait to feel the experience. Promise a video tape with dedicatory.
Hi Kevy! The is a beautiful looking lather from the Palmolive stick soap...so envious. I want one of those Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 razors. While I feel it might be along the lines of the gifted Yaqi razor in terms of aggression, I just want a quality stainless razor from EJ. I always wanted to try the original Wizamet Super Iridium blades...how do they compare to the PolSilvers Super Iridium blades? BTW, are you going to try the Personna 74 or keep it for a museum piece? lol. I tried a new soap...CBL Tonsorial shave soap in the Money scent. It works very well. It is reminiscent of Williams Tonsorial shave soap, but with the scent of a crisp US Dollar. It is nice. Lather was thick and creamy with a very good slickness. However, it is a bit drying in the post shave. I have been trying to use all the razors in my den. The last used was a 1955 Gillette Super-Speed Flare Tip loaded with the 1976 Wilkinson Sword Master Chromium blade (8th use). Excellent shave and that blade just mows down the whiskers with ease...even after all those uses. Anyway, great shave Mr. Parr! Thanks for sharing. Take care.
Hi Todd. Palmolive is a great soap. The 3one6 is a quality piece of gear and I think it will become iconic as the years go by. The Personna 74 is being saved for one of those "special" shaves 😉 I'm not familiar with that soap you mentioned, I'll need to have a search for it. It's good to,use different razors each shave. Cheers mate. Kevy 👍

Hi Kevy, between an Edwin Jagger 3one6 and a Rex Envoy, which would you advise one to get as a heirloom daily driver? Which is of a higher quiality and better shave? Please advise.🙏🏾
@@kevyshaves4109is the 30ne6 a better shaver? Kindly share a bit on why you would prefer it to the Rex razor. I want to make a choice between a British made stainless steel and the US product. Both products have stellar reviews, but your experience will be so well appreciated.🙏🏾
@@gomezokpala7956 I thought the Rex had too much blade feel. I always felt like it was going to bite me, even on the lower settings. The 3ONE6 never feels like that for me. Kevy 😀
Hey! I've got the very same Stirling Soap Brush - one of my favorites. Now, all you need to do is pull a Stirling sample (Sharp Dressed Man?) out of you seldomly used sample soap stash. And then, put an Astra Platinum into that English aluminum-handle Gillette Tech and get a guaranteed great shave!
So, is Wyzamet the same as Polsilver? I recently bought a pack of wyzamet and a pack of polsilver, and the wyzamets were much more comfortable than the polsilver.
I put it on there to stop the razor getting marked when the handle is tightened down onto the head. It's a very cheap way to protect your expensive razor. Cheers. Kevy 👍😀
I own a 316 in all stainless steel. I did want a red one but the coloured handles are made from aluminium and that makes the razor not fully stainless steel.
Hi Kevy, Happy New Year and all the best in 2021! Just want to say I really enjoy your videos, awesome 😎🤙. I wanted to ask you, why do you use the plastic washers on the razors? Does it create a tighter seal around the handle and safety bar? And what king of washer is it?
Happy new year Chris. Thanks for the kind words about my videos, I really appreciate that. I use the plastic washers to stop the underside of the head getting marked when the handle is screwed on. Its a very cheap way to protect my razors from getting marked. The washers are very cheap. I buy 50 at a time as I'm always forgetting they're on the razor and they dissapear down the plughole! 😂 Search on Ebay for plastic washer size M5. There's lots of them available. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
Lol! That brush skit! Nothing better than a man who enjoys his shaves. Love that Palmolive! Even with all my Artisan stuff, sometimes you just want to slum it up. (joking!) You can still get that imported from India I think. I recently got a bunch of William's Mug Soap, if you want the same Palmolive feel but citrus scent, try that! Cost about the same as the Palmolive stick I think. I am of two minds with the EJ316, I was interested but wanted more info on the razor but they don't give you the really important bits, namely, blade gap and blade exposure specifications. Asking around got me nowhere since I think Edwin Jagger isn't saying. Ended up with other "premium" razors though like the Tatara Masamune and PAA's Copper Ascension. I might pick up the EJ316 for fun. Maybe. 😁 Ps : Smelling too nice might be a good thing. At least depending on Mrs Kevy. She might get ideas. 🤣
Thanks Steven. I'm not sure about the blade gap on the 3one6 either. It doesn't feel aggressive. That's why I didn't want to smell too nice, I need my beauty sleep 😂 😏😉
Hahaha! Yes! I knew it (that's another two for two)! When you started to introduce the brush, I thought, "It'll be the 'big Stirling Kong'!" And I was right! Every time he shows up, I think of "Fat Bastard" from the Austin Powers movies; no offense. I do not own the 316, in fact, I don't own ANY Edwin Jagger gear. What I've been doing lately is rotating my razors, blades, and brushes. I use the same set for a week (7 days) and then switch out on Sunday. I've found that the blades hold up without issue. "3... 5... carry the 7... bring down the 0..." The weather's been rubbish here in Oklahoma! Thursday and Friday of last week was cold and rainy (temps in the upper 30s C to lower 40s C). Saturday and Sunday were nice with temps in the mid 60s C. And then it's been cold and miserable again since! That's the way Autumn runs in Oklahoma and then it's FREEZING! That guy! Over there? The nerve of some people! Have a good rest of the week, Kevy!
This stainless Jagger was worth the wait. The end result was a beautiful shave. Your mustache area was clean, and without any trace of shadow! That alone was very impressive. The shredded Palmolive produced a slick, fluffy, sheen enriched, lather,: albeit thirsty. I honestly was shocked at the amount of Dundee's magic water was needed to slake this lather's parched state. Yet once incorporated properly, the lather was one of you best to date. The residual slickness was unmistakably Palmolive. I did take note that you went without your normal prep contingency for a new razor. The gap on this 316L is more pronounced than the typical DE89. The feedback was sublime, even on 2 days growth. The Wizamet was reviewed by Spencer Frankel a month ago. He had poor results. Not at all like the performance by the blade when loaded into this Jagger. It is always a pleasure to see the Stirling KONG! His mighty efficiency is as constant as time itself. I was also impressed by today's post shave products. It seems perfect protection for Dundee's bitter cold, and double edge winds. I imagine the lotion will get ample use as well. I've been on potassium restriction for two years, and miss bananas, milk, and melons very much. Sleep restfully, Kev. My best to your Missus, and Riley.
Nice shave Kevy, all hail that pimple for surviving haha. Simple cheap soap that creates lather for days. Appearance of the Big "Kong" Man of Dundee always gets a laugh. The Boots cucumber post shave stuff is great, I also use them if not having a shave.
Cheers Craig. I think it was one of your SOTD pics that sparked my interest in picking up some of that Cucumber stuff from Boots. It is good stuff. Cheers mate. Kevy 👍

Hello, Kevy how are you, can you please tell is there any difference In performance between this Edwin Jagger 3one6 razor and the other with a red handle you used some time back in your video, as I want to purchase one, this one is not available and the one with aluminum handle is available or I should wait, please guide sir.
Super fun video Kevy! I suspected the banana might have segued into a discussion about having new wigs made, before moving onto some rich vein of humour about Andy Warhol. Clearly, your comedy instincts are better than mine. I think my Wilkinson Sword hogs hair shaving brush looks a bit like Billy Idol (its the hairstyle you know) but I've not started talking to it, yet...
Hi kevy so the golden syrup goes on the banana and you take them in the shower?? 😈 . can I ask ure view on best shaver Rockwell 6s or Edwin Jagger 30ne6. Thanks kevy.

You kind Sire, are bananas :D but I wholeheartedly commend your enthusiasm! Love the videos! I must say I feel obliged to blame you for my recent acquisition of Palmolive sticks & nacet blades alongside a 3one6. I salute you Sir.
Ha ha! Don't blame me Aleks! Lol! Just kidding. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
@@kevyshaves4109 ...little UPDATe: darn seller in Jordan was a total scam and I almost loose $12 in the process (luckily I got reimbursed). Very nice razor! Glad you got the SS handle the Alum looks not worth it. So is this razor better than the Rusky you tried the other day??? But then....I don't have another puppy to pawn for this one.....
Thanks. It's not better than the Russian razor in my opinion. Cheers. Kevy 👍
Hey Kevin, long time no see. I’ve been off the grid for the last year. I’m on my way back.
Hey Brandon. Good to hear you're making it back to the land of youtubers. Cheers mate. Kevy 😀
Can the edwin jagger 3one6 stand on the handle pls?
No
Is there a big difference to the red handled 3ONE6 that you tried before? Awesome review
No difference other than the handle. The head is exactly the same. Kevy 👍
Cheers Manny. This is a really nice razor to have in the den. I think it will become a classic like it's brother, the DE89. Kevy 👍
I like the design of the 3one6. They've put so,e thought intomit and the end result is really nice. I think it's a fair price point too. Kevy 👍😀
They all feel the same to me Rajan. Kevy 👍
Kevy, you're the best leathering hahaha!
It looks hypnotic

Edwing Jagger 3D Chrome, such a beautiful razor to start in the game.
Can't wait to feel the experience.
Promise a video tape with dedicatory.
Thanks Kevy. Great video. How does the 3one6 compare with the Rocca ? Which one do you prefer ?
I think I prefer the 3one6. 👍
Kevy 👍
@@kevyshaves4109 Palmolive shave sticks; I now have a 20 year stash. God bless you and my daughter-in-law for making that happen!

Kevy,
Banana takes Dairy Milk's place (long back ago)
Kevy, can you compare this razor with Rockwell......... Rockwell's which plate equal to this razor.
Nice Video. Thank you
Ha ha! I think I would rather have the Dairy Milk! This would be about plate 4 on the Rockwell. Cheers. Kevy 👍
Hi Kevy, between an Edwin Jagger 3one6 and a Rex Envoy, which would you advise one to get as a heirloom daily driver? Which is of a higher quiality and better shave? Please advise.🙏🏾
I've only tried the 3ONE6 but I've tried the Rex Ambassador which is similar to the Envoy. I would choose the 3ONE6. Cheers. Kevy 👍
I'm not sure. Someone said they're the same blade. Kevy 😀👍
Hi Kevy, subscribed to your channel! Great stuff. One question? Where do you get those washers from and what size are they? Cheers!
Thank you for the sub Brian. Search on eBay for plastic washers size M5. Cheers. Kevy 😀
@@kevyshaves4109 May I inquire as to the purpose of the washer on the razor?
Been thinking about buying an Edwin Jagger 3 One 6.
Could you do a comparison between the Parker Semi Slant vs the Edwin Jagger 3 One 6?
I'll see if I can fit that in Jess. I will say that the 3ONE6 is a much nicer shaver and razor but it is pricier. Cheers. Kevy 👍😀
@@kevyshaves4109 that's why I have not yet purchased one, I might have to save up some money.
Hello, I enjoyed your video but I have a question. What's with the rubber washer?
I put it on there to stop the razor getting marked when the handle is tightened down onto the head. It's a very cheap way to protect your expensive razor. Cheers. Kevy 👍😀
Hey. How do you like the Voskhod blades in the EJ 3ONE6 razor? Are they comfortable to shave?
Yes, they're ok in that razor for me. Cheers. Kevy 👍
Edwin Jaggers are always quality razors and the 3one6 is no exception. How did you get such a cut using the Rex Ambassador?
By being careless! I filmed that shave. Kevy 👍
Kevy Shaves it happens to the best of us, great shave with the EJ beautiful razor, something to put on my Christmas list:)
@@Shaverboy516 You better start behaving! Lol 😂
Kevy Shaves 😂 your right Kevy!😂
I own a 316 in all stainless steel. I did want a red one but the coloured handles are made from aluminium and that makes the razor not fully stainless steel.
How aggressive is it? What to compare with? I'm choosing between 316 and game changer 0.84. Thanks
Nice looking razor ! 🪒
Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
@@kevyshaves4109 thank you for the help. I will definitely start using the washer to protect my razors. 😊 cheers 😎🤙
Lol! That brush skit! Nothing better than a man who enjoys his shaves.
Love that Palmolive! Even with all my Artisan stuff, sometimes you just want to slum it up. (joking!)
You can still get that imported from India I think.
Maybe. 😁
Ps : Smelling too nice might be a good thing.
"3... 5... carry the 7... bring down the 0..."
The weather's been rubbish here in Oklahoma!
Cheers Jack. Sounds like it might be time to get the winter willies looked out! Lol! All the best mate. Kevy 😀👍
How does the 316 compare with the Tatara?
I would say it about the same level of smoothness but the Tatara is a little more efficient. Kevy 👍
Kevy Shaves Thank you. All the best.
Hello Kevy, do you prefer the 3ONE6L over the DE89? Just wondering if I should make an upgrade. Thank you!
Hi Andrew. Yes, the 3ONE6 is a better quality razor and for me, it shaves better than the DE89. Kevy 👍
When your shaving 🪒. With this
razor does it feel comfortable to
handle ?
Yes, extremely comfortable. Kevy 👍😀
Cheers Alex. Speak soon. Kevy 😀
Love the Palmolive shave stick. Are the no longer being produced?
They still make them but they're not for sale anywhere in the U.K. You can still get them in Germany and France I think. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
Kevy 👍

Hello Rajan. All the 3one6 razor heads are exactly the same. It's only the handles that are different. Cheers. Kevy 👍
Super fun video Kevy! I suspected the banana might have segued into a discussion about having new wigs made, before moving onto some rich vein of humour about Andy Warhol. Clearly, your comedy instincts are better than mine.
