Hello Paul. There is such a lot of industry in that area, an outside of that outstanding beauty; it is an incongruous mix. Lincolnshire is very nice. All the best, pal.
I am Irish, and my old uncle, RIP, was into straight razor shaving and quality penknives and would only buy products made of Sheffield steel, as he said Sheffield steel was the best in the world. He told me of shaving himself with a John Barber penknife after finely sharpening and stropping it, and saying he got the finest of shaves from it. Hi Hugh. I had not heard of John Barber, as a producer of Straight razors. Sadly, there were none for sale on eBay, as I would have been interested to have a look. That is a great family story about your uncle. Thanks for sharing it.
Hi Mark- Great shave and razor review; thank you! Very nice-looking razor and brush; the silvertip knot seemed like a great painter. I hope you are having a great weekend and best regards, as always, my friend!
Hi Mike, I hope you're all well over on your side of the pond. I really liked that silver-tip and I've never really been a great fan of them before. I think because this is a bit looser it works very well. I've good my feet up, the sun is shining, the world is good today 😃 Enjoy your weekend. Take care, my friend. Cheers.
Really like the look of this Razor, think you are one of the few U.K. RUclipsrs to give a review of the 316 superb in-depth analysis as normal. You really know how to whet our appetites!. The brush looks a Stunner also. Thank you Mark.
Thank you, Paul. Sorry for the delay - I'm catching up. I looked at a few 'reviews' and found that some of them were lacking in detail and I always like that side of it. Shaving is so subjective that I feel showing the detail is important. I like that - I might say that, on my next video. 🙂 Summer's over down here, we had a beautiful day 😅 Be well, mate.
Well, we can safely say you had a GOOD TIME! I don't think I've seen you so excited and enthusiastic. Your custom brush, a new Razor from a new Razor Series and some of your favorite shave accessories and you were launched to Cloud 9.
Ha 😃 I did enjoy myself, Keith. It is 30 years since Edwin Jagger bought out the DE89. It's quite staggering really and shows just how popular that razor has been. Trying the new one was fun. All the best.
You're welcome. I'll come back to it next week for some further thoughts. I like the idea of doing two videos, with a new razor. I feel it works quite well. Take care 👍
Great video Mark. Thanks for posting. It looks like an excellent razor. I like that the posts and cap are all one piece, unlike the Rocca. The post on my razor came out.
I remember, Jeremy. I was astounded, when you first mentioned it, as I'd never heard of that happening before. That was the main reason I mentioned the post and cap being 'all in one'. 😃
Great video Mark. Granted it is a expensive razor but is worth knowing the build quality and preformance of British made steel razor. Glad to see to looking well Mark. Have a great weekend.
Hello, my friend. It is a little expensive but I've been very lucky to borrow this razor and show everyone how nice it is. There are so many to choose from these days. The sun is out, over here. 😃☀️ Enjoy your weekend, Kashmir. All the best to you.
Oh, I knew someone would ask 😃👍 This is from memory, as I don't own the Rocca any more. It feels better than the Rocca and is certainly better made than my Rocca. It seems to move across my skin more easily than the Rocca did, although I'm at a bit of a loss to explain why that might be. It's not hugely different, perhaps a bit more aggressive. I'll watch my Rocca videos and I might comment on it during my shave next week. Good question- you made me work there 😉 All the best.
Great Review Mark.. I think I’ll be adding one to my collection next week with blue handle.. Some they say it’s aggressive razor but I’m sure will be good it’s well made. Take care Alan H
That's a beauty alright...interesting that you mentioned the Tech, since to me it looks a bit like the Feather AS-D2 (which of course is similar in many ways to the Tech). In that way, the EJ also reminds me a bit of the WCS Hyperion. You're really on a roll with demonstrating all the latest and greatest stuff...your channel has good and generous supporters and deservedly so.
Ah, yes. I can see the Feather AS-D2 in the EJ razor. Let's be honest, nothing is original anymore in the world of razors 🙂 I'm blessed mate, to have very generous friends of the channel; I count myself to be really lucky. The last few months have been terrific for the channel. I thought I'd hit the jackpot when I first got ten subscribers - I'm not kidding. All the best, mate. I hope your day was good.
Great shave, Mark. The 3one6 is a good looking razor and on my wish list. I don't mind minor machining scratches on the inside of the base/top cap but it is nice when the manufacturer goes the extra step to polish them out. Well, I pulled the trigger on a Friendship shaving brush, purchased the Manchurian Finest, I wanted a little backbone. Excited to received and use it. Anyone that can't stand you is a person I don't n need nor want to know. Have a safe and great weekend, my friend, be well.
Hi Claude, I hope you are enjoying your day. Fair enough but can you imagine if a car salesman said - "it looks great on the outside; we haven't bothered finishing the inside but it's still a Jaguar" 😉👍 I hope you enjoy the Friendship Shaving brush. Thanks for your support, as always. Take care buddy.
Nice shave Mark and thanks for the review. I was very close to buying this as my first SS razor but in the end went with the Razorock Game Changer .86 As you'll know it's had great reviews and is slightly cheaper at £65. I started on an EJ89 but prefer the 34C so that's another reason I didn't go for another EJ. We are spoiled though, with the current flurry of new razors to try! Enjoy your weekend!
I have read very good things about the Game Changer and hope to be able to review it one of these days. We are spoiled rotten for choice these days! I never imagined, when I started my channel, that so many razors would flood the market. It's quite astounding really. I have also noticed that vintage razors, on eBay, are starting to fetch ridiculous prices. Anyway. Take care and I hope you get to enjoy some sunshine over the weekend. Cheers.
@@Shaverboy516Hi, Just awaiting delivery. I'll post back once it lands. I'm hoping it'll be a little less nicky than the Fine, and be of better quality.
Well my game changer has arrived and I've had two shaves with it. It's very well built and heavier than any of my others, due of course its stainless steel construction. I was expecting a slightly more aggressive shave from this razor than I actually experienced. It is milder than the Marvel razor and only a little bit more aggressive than the Merkur 34 HD. I first tried it with an Israeli crystal blade and was very impressed by its smoothness. I wanted a slightly closer shave and then tried the GameChanger with a feather blade, this was a very nice smooth shave but I still required three passes and tidy up to get a bbs shave. Two shaves are probably not enough to fully come to terms with this razor and I am impressed with the build quality so I will try, other blades and different angles to see if I can improve on the efficiency of the shave. It is a beautifully built razor and worth trying. It is smoother than my Marvel razor and I have had no nicks or cuts at all with it. I hope that helps cheers David.
Well after another two weeks of using the Game Changer I'm much happier with it than I was. It does of course take time to get used to a new razor. The key is that I've found the best blade to use in it for me, the Wilkinson Swords in the Black packs, which I think come from Germany. These are pretty sharp and smooth. The other thing I have adjusted is the pressure I use, I was going slightly too lightly with the Game Changer, but adding a touch more pressure means that I can now do two pass shave with touch ups on the neck. The only other thing, I've found is that when fitting the blade, you really need to compress the cap and the guard together when screwing on the handle, as the guide rods are in the guard and not the cap. Hope that helps someone. :)
Hi Mark, Great review as always pleased to see you enjoyed the 3One6 I was hoping it would be milder, will have to try again with a less aggressive blade. Looking forward to seeing you use the FS Synthetic .... take care mate
Hey mate, it is aggressive - I did a half and half shave with the R41; it was interesting and I'll mention it next week's video, when I come back to the 3ONE6 for a second review. I'm finding it a good idea to have two reviews, with one razor, as I always find something else. I hope you're having a good week, Mal. Take care.
Wow, lets go shopping 3one6, once it out for sale. Seems Sheffield takes its time though. My FS Friendship Shaving Brush has been shipped. Proraso green my favourite, if y order the 400mL bottle, the price per mL reduces by abt 35%. Guess we all ought to keep cost down. Do look frwrd to the new brush, the handle is so vintage stylish. Enjoy yr weekend, cheerio fm the Lion City. P/S my school girlfriend 50yrs ago visited me last nite fm Germany on her way to gold coast Australia. I loved her then, but still like to look at her. Feelings can stay long with one. We behaved...
I'm pleased you got the new brush. I like that I don't make any money from any sales - it takes a lot of pressure off me and allows me to remain honest in my opinion. Your school girlfriend! Yes, I'm still a little in love with my first girlfriend, who lives on the other side of the world. We've met a few times over the years. Happy days! 😃
Hello Mark, greetings from Greece! Thanks for the thorough review on the new EJ. Since you already have the Rocca, (and the initial problems you had are solved), how would you compare these two stainless razors in terms of efficiency, and smoothness. Can you make a solid conclusion in which of the two you prefer the most, or is it too early for a final verdict? I think that a comparison between these two would be really interesting since they share so many common characteristics
Hello George, it's very nice to receive your comment from sunny Greece. I sold my Rocca quite a while ago, but from memory it feels better than the Rocca and is better made, than the first Rocca. It's not hugely different, perhaps a bit more aggressive. The handle is shorter and narrower and it feels better in the hand. As I wrote this is all from memory - don't hang your hat on it 😉
Great shave Mark. As always, plenty of helpful information and great conversation. And to the commenter you had, perhaps if they don't like what they see, stop watching. As the old saying goes, ' if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all'.
Hey Paul, thank you. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. That is a good saying. It seems lot of people seem to have forgotten how to keep things to themselves. Comments like that don't bother me at all, but they do sometimes surprise me, when they appear mid video. Thanks for you support, buddy. All the best.
Hi Mark, I own this razor and the red handled version. I feel the all stainless 3one6 could seriously challenge the Feather AS-D2. Unlike the Feather it shaves really well with numerous blades. The Feather is only close with a Feather blade. I own the AS-D2 also. I would like to hear your opinion Mark. Stay safe mate, Dave.
Hi Dave. To be honest it's been quite a while since I shaved with either the 3one6 or the ASD2; I don't have them in the den anymore. From memory, the 3one6 was certainly more aggressive. I do remember the ASD2 being mild, even at 45 degrees which seemed to be the optimum angle. Basically, I think you're spot on. 😁
@@FriendshipShaving Thankyou Sir!! 😁😁. Had my first shave with my new 6s the other day. Plate 4. Really nice! I prefer the weight of it to my 6c. Stay safe, Dave.
The 3 one 6 is injection moulded hence no machining marks as the Rex ambassador is machined so marks are visible not that it should for the price mind. Great video mark as usual 👍
Hi Simon. The handle of the 3ONE6 is CNC machined with the marks being polished out. I think, if a razor has machine marks, then it hasn't been finished properly. It needs a good polish! 😃 I'm glad you enjoyed the video, mate. Enjoy your Sunday. 👍
You have Achim and I will buy one, at some point, but I have two standard size bottles to use up first. It is very well lasting and really good value, even without the saving by purchasing a bigger bottle. Cheers mate.
Beautiful styling and I do like that brushed satin finish and it looks like there is very little overlap at the ends and if it is anything like my EJ DE89 then I want one but as always getting stuff out here in Australai (I am an ex pat Sussex fellow) and the price as always will be a bit more I suppose but I am going to ask my usual supplier when they will get these in. Thanks for the heads up and I know I have said it beofre apart from the glasses and I have a moustache you and I could be at least brothers if not twins - uncanny to say the least:D!!
Hi mate. There is no overlap which is nice. It is quite aggressive, perhaps more than I first thought when I put it between the R89 and the R41. I'll come back to it next week, I think. The finishing is nice. Okay, you are going to have to send me a picture of your good self. Are you on the Facebook group, John?
I suspect all blades are made out of this country now, ironically probably on vintage British machines. I know that is true of the Russian factory where they made Voskhod. It would be nice to see a few British blades.
Another great video Mark ignore the haters your channel is great. Love the look of the EJ 316 may have to start saving my pennies up. Shame it is out of stock in the UK still plenty available in the US though. Maybe Edwin Jaggers should look after their home market better
Thanks Simon, I certainly will. It completely surprised me! I think maybe EJ focused on the American market, I know that all of the razors sent out to RUclips reviewers were sent to fellows over the pond. Mind you, RUclips is pretty global these days so perhaps they chose RUclipsrs with very large subscriber numbers. Cheers buddy, enjoy your weekend 👍
Hi I am loving your videos , How would you compare this Razor Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 to the Muhle to the R95 MÜHLE ROCCA Stainless Steel Razor in terms of smoothness and agressiveness ? I own a R89 MÜHLE razor as well and I think i will treat my self to a new upgrade next year regards.
Hi George, it's been a long time since I had my Rocca but I feel it is really quite similar to the 3ONE6. I'm sorry I can't be any more definitive than that and I'm wondering if anyone else has done a direct comparison shave. I'll try and find out some more information. Apologies for the delayed response. Cheers.
Good morning, Sir. I must say that I absolutely adore this wonderful razor. The Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 is hands down the best non-adjustable safety razor in the world. I've had and used many safety razors, but I finally ended up only keeping and using two: the adjustable Taiga made by HomeLikeShaving, and this non-adjustable Edwin Jagger 3ONE6. And how about comparing the Taiga with the 3ONE6? There are perhaps two approaches. The first approach may refuse comparing two safety razors with different systems - one adjustable and one non-adjustable. The other approach, however, may insist that everything is comparable, once your choice is limited to only one. The questions then is: "If I was only allowed to keep one safety razor, would that be the 3ONE6 or the Taiga?" I find imagining this limitation somewhat stressing because, sincerely, I don't know the answer. I'd probably have to toss a coin, but leaving either razor would be a sad moment.
@@FriendshipShaving That's a great joy. My beautiful young wife has bought me a great straight razor by HomeLikeShaving. It's a wonderful carbon steel razor, half hollow ground, 20 mm wide, only 11 pieces have been produced. I really love it, but I only use it on special occasion days. Have a wonderful day, Sir.
@@FriendshipShaving Thank you very much. I must humbly admit that it's not my merit, Sir. God is very generous to me - much more than I may ever dream to deserve. Good night.
Mark, that's a beautiful razor. I'm glad you did the review. It's out of my price range right now, but maybe once the hype wears down. To the person who said they don't like you, just change the channel. Have a great week, friend.
I'm sure they'll start to appear in BST groups second hand in a few months; It is a razor that won't be for everyone. I hope you have a good week Matthew. It would be nice if it stopped raining 🙂 Take care, mate.
No, not really. It is relative of course but I find it to be a step up from the DE89. In terms of Mühle razors it sort of sits between the R89 and the R41.
I think you've given us here the closest, and most painstaking close-up footage of the 316 on UTube available right now. I came away from your video feeling I knew what this great razor really looks, especially the caps, etc. In all, very good demo. Something else: intrigued by your pre-shave cube. Brand, manufacturer, if you could please. And what is the scent of this pre-shave cube? Does the pre-shave cube's scent "interfere" with the shaving soap/cream's scent? Thanks for uploading!
I did try to really show the razor and not just have a shave, so thank you very much for commenting on that. As Chis has pointed out, the Cube is from PAA; my friend bought it while he was in America, on holiday. The scent is extremely mild indeed and it doesn't interfere with any scent. All the best.
Hi Mark, great review, as always, thank you. The Friendship Shaving brush looks fabulous, but I'll wait until you try (maybe you already did it?) the synthetic version, primarily for an ethical reason. (Compassion for animals.). I always watch your reviews before purchasing a shaving product. Thanks for sharing Mark.
Hello Enrique. Thank you. I'll use the synthetic next week; it is the same synthetic that I already have in another Frank Shaving brush and it's one I really enjoy. I am a little conflicted about badger brushes, so I completely understand why you choose not to use them. Best regards to you. Have a great Sunday.
Hello Mark. Another great video. Seems like a great razor. I’m new to safety razors but really want to purchase one. I’m wondering if you could make a recommendation for a first timer?
Gladly Sam, the recommendation I would make is the Edwin Jagger DE89 or the Mühle R89. I like the R106 which is the same head with an acrylic handle. The heads were designed as a joint venture between the companies so are to all intents and purposes the same. They are great selling razors and well known for being good for first timers. Not too expensive either 😃
Just received my 3one6 Mark absolutely amazing results no nicks or cuts I Love It Mark💈🪒my is with blue handle perfect balance and top cap and baseplate is made with perfection by EJ... Glad I got it it’s one of my Favourite Razors now... Alan H
@@FriendshipShaving Thanks Mark I tell you this razor of all I tried besides Traveling Gillette Fusion you can’t beat shaves so nice I’m very impressed and happy I got it and made in Sheffield England 316 stainless can’t go wrong 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 EJ nailed it on this razor I say Mark It’s a sleeper that no one pay attention to it as much and it’s worth a price.. Take care & Stay Safe Alan H
Only just seen this one Mark, another great info video on the 3one6. As you know from your other video I purchased my first razor the muhle r106. All irritation problem have passed and I even get to go against the grain on lower neck now for a smooth finish I never got in all my years of cartridges. Quick question, would you go for the 3one6 or RazoRock Game Changer.68 for daily mild shaving?
I'd go for the Game Changer, Lyn. It's a much better razor in my opinion. The 3ONE6 is more aggressive and while I enjoyed it, it did give me a little irritation because the shave was so close. It was probably, in reflection, not a razor I could use everyday. I live the GC .68 but I'd love to try the 84. For your first stainless steel razor, they are a great choice.
Hi Miles, I hope your well. I watched a little of your video; I know you love that blue handle 👍 It keeps catching me, a little and while my shave on video was great, it occasionally feels a little harsh going against the grain. Perhaps a bit more practice is needed. Cheers.
Hi Chris. I'm sorry mate, but I'm going to pass on this question for the time being; it's been so long since I used the ATT M2 that I can't really remember what it was like and I don't want to write something that turns out to be not true, just to answer your question 🙂
I started my career in the early 70's. No internet, email, etc. When email became common, I noticed that people would write boorish things that they would never have said to one's face. I've often wondered if, in addition to being rude, those who write these hateful messages are just cowards.
Hi Kenneth, thank you for your comment. I think the people that write mean, and personal, comments are, at least, just rude and ill mannered and at worst bullies seeking gratification from attempting to put someone else down. Some are no doubt only brave from behind the keyboard. It is a very strange world these days! Thanks for your support. Have a great weekend.
Good shave mark you are only one give out the price on this razor cheers bit dear for me have 3 de 89 are good razors can do to shave vids week Like Paul h
Hello Oliver. It seems sensible to tell everyone the price. Did you write that you have three DE 89 razors? I'm going to stick to one shaving video a week and one Sunday sit down, every few weeks.
Yes, that looks a great razor, it has been well tested and it's cheaper too. The 3ONE6 seems to be getting a few varied reviews. I'm going to come back to it next week with a few extra points. Take care.
I would have been very disappointed if you got no satisfaction from a Jagger! (Boom Boom! as Basil Brush would say). I am pleased to say your one hater is outnumbered by all your friends and followers on here so best to ignore such rude comments. Of course you are right about Sheffield steel. They seem to make huge amounts of cutlery and kitchen knives etc. All good quality products. Have a great weekend pal.
Basil Brush - that takes me back! The Stones are doing another tour - Mick is 75 years old. I'll have some of what he takes, please. What rude comment? 😅😅👍 I hope you're enjoying your weekend, David. Take care.
They'll never do it! They've made a good business out of the DE89 for 30 years. Crikey - was 1989 really that long ago? 😕 I don't know about the thumbs down. Maybe, the fella can't me me😅 The amusing thing is, RUclips doesn't distinguish between thumbs up or down.
The message was a comment left on the Model T video and just said "I can't stand that guy". I was quite surprised, but not offended. It just threw me for a moment when the notification appeared.
Whoever thought of the term unobtainium came up with a really good one; it could almost be a metal. It is reasonably priced and I suppose a few are bound to appear second hand for a little bit less. Thanks for your time, mate. Take care.
Hi Mark can you compare the shave of that EJ 3one6 with that of the Razorock .84 Game Changer ? Looks nice ... what is the price of that one ... my GC was $54.99 Great audio feed back I notice. Hey never mind there are always unhappy people that like to be haters to people that are trying to do them a service by making these video... So just be yourself and FUXK EM. Nice to see ya Mark. Kit
Hey Kit, I'm afraid I can't. I know you love your Game Changer but I've never used one. The 3ONE6 is £75, I don't know how many dollars that is, so the Game Changer is cheaper to buy. Thanks for your support about the haters. I thankfully don't get many. They're just idiots trying to create a bit of drama. All the best mate.
Nice review. It looks like a excellent shaver. If you go on the RazoRock Twitter account, you'll see that they posted a picture of a broken 3ONE6 razor and comparing it to RazoRock's cheaper (and tougher) stainless steel offerings. Yikes. Here's the link to the Tweet: twitter.com/razorockJoe/status/1139987368478482433?s=19
Wow! That's interesting. Thanks for the link Edwin. It's always good to learn something new; I didn't know the complete RozoRock stainless steel handles were CNC machined from one piece of steel. Now, if they can do it for the price they ask, why can't others?
Are we just buying to buy at this point expensive for what it is. You videos are great but the forums and youtube have created a freincy around such a simple task.
I take your point. I'm lucky enough to get to try, and enjoy, all these razors and it keeps my videos varied. I'm sure someone will no doubt be looking for a stainless razor that is relatively cheap compared to some I've seen. Cheers Kurt.
The Fine Marvel is a good razor but the materials and build quality of the EJ 316 will be a lot, lot better. Check out the reports of build and mould issues with the Marvel.
I'm not saying you should buy this razor and certainly not just because it's stainless. The Fine Marvel is a fantastic razor and one that I really enjoy using but I also enjoyed this one very much too.

Edwin Jagger sure engineer their razors to superior quality. My very first DE razor was their 89. I am interested in this 3ONE6.

Alan H
Cheers Alan. I like the blue handle. Let me know how you like, please. All the best
Fair enough but can you imagine if a car salesman said -
"it looks great on the outside; we haven't bothered finishing the inside but it's still a Jaguar" 😉👍
I hope you enjoy the Friendship Shaving brush.
Cheers.
David Watson How are you liking the Game Changer? I’m waiting for the barber pole handle to be back in stock.
Great shave and review Mark, and seeing the friendship brush in action was great, can’t wait to get it mate. Have a great weekend sir 😊👍
Lol and loved the cheeky tongue look at the end 😂😂
I wondered if someone would notice 😛
Thanks mate. Have a great weekend.
Friendship Shaving lol 😝
Hi Mark, Great review as always pleased to see you enjoyed the 3One6 I was hoping it would be milder, will have to try again with a less aggressive blade. Looking forward to seeing you use the FS Synthetic .... take care mate
Hey mate, it is aggressive - I did a half and half shave with the R41; it was interesting and I'll mention it next week's video, when I come back to the 3ONE6 for a second review. I'm finding it a good idea to have two reviews, with one razor, as I always find something else. I hope you're having a good week, Mal. Take care.
@@FriendshipShaving Great idea looking forward too part 2
Hi Mark,
I own this razor and the red handled version. I feel the all stainless 3one6 could seriously challenge the Feather AS-D2. Unlike the Feather it shaves really well with numerous blades. The Feather is only close with a Feather blade. I own the AS-D2 also. I would like to hear your opinion Mark. Stay safe mate,
Dave.
Stay safe,
Dave.
Did I mention the green Proraso after shave lotion, if y convince yr vendor to supplu 400ml bottles, y can save abt 40% per mL. Worth to think abt.
And it’s English, I try and buy all English shaving bits now and not disappointed, not sure if there’s an English blade as such?
I suspect all blades are made out of this country now, ironically probably on vintage British machines. I know that is true of the Russian factory where they made Voskhod. It would be nice to see a few British blades.
Thank you for a great review
Thank you for watching. Enjoy your weekend 👍
DE89 was my first razor and in my opinion performs best with a Feather
That makes sense, to me. A mild razor with a nice sharp blade.
Hi
I am loving your videos , How would you compare this Razor Edwin Jagger 3ONE6 to the Muhle to the R95 MÜHLE ROCCA Stainless Steel Razor in terms of smoothness and agressiveness ?
I own a R89 MÜHLE razor as well and I think i will treat my self to a new upgrade next year
regards.
Cheers.
@@FriendshipShavingThank you for getting back to me much appreciated.
Good morning my friend. I had a lovely shave with a straight razor today. It was very enjoyable. No hurry. All the best.
You are a lucky man, my friend - a beautiful wife and a limited edition straight razor! 😀 Fantastic! Have a good week.
@@FriendshipShaving Thank you very much. I must humbly admit that it's not my merit, Sir. God is very generous to me - much more than I may ever dream to deserve.
Good night.
Nice shave with the accoutrements used today.
Thank you Jill. I did like my accoutrements, that's such a fabulous word, today 🙂 I hope you're well. Have a great weekend.
It would be nice if it stopped raining 🙂 Take care, mate.
is the 3one6 more on the mild side?
The cube is from PAA.
I did try to really show the razor and not just have a shave, so thank you very much for commenting on that. As Chis has pointed out, the Cube is from PAA; my friend bought it while he was in America, on holiday. The scent is extremely mild indeed and it doesn't interfere with any scent. All the best.
@@FriendshipShaving Thank you. Thanks for coming back!
You're welcome, mate.
@@FriendshipShaving Thanks Mark, look forward to your next review. Cheers!
Thank you. I really appreciate the help. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to the next one. Cheers from 🇨🇦
Sam Perrin would recommend the muhle r89 or merkur 34c 🙂
Thank you Sam. All the best, mate 👍

It’s a sleeper that no one pay attention to it as much and it’s worth a price..

Hi Mark, great review looks a great razor, can I ask where you purchased your PAA pre shave cube from?
Hi Simon. The PAA Cube was a gift from my friend Billy, who picked it up in the States. Sorry mate 🙂
Thanks Mark, hopefully they will be available from some UK vendors soon
Merry Christmas break buddy 🎁 All the very best.
Friendship Shaving thank you for reply and a Very Merry Christmas to you and all your subscribers. Enjoy.
nice shave pal. Yes i cant feel the blade on my skin, and for that its quickly becoming my favourite razor.
Hi Miles, I hope your well. I watched a little of your video; I know you love that blue handle 👍 It keeps catching me, a little and while my shave on video was great, it occasionally feels a little harsh going against the grain. Perhaps a bit more practice is needed. Cheers.
@@FriendshipShaving i fount the astra green blade to work well for me in the razor, try that if you have not :)
Thanks mate 👍
How does this compare to the ATT M2?
Hi Chris. I'm sorry mate, but I'm going to pass on this question for the time being; it's been so long since I used the ATT M2 that I can't really remember what it was like and I don't want to write something that turns out to be not true, just to answer your question 🙂
Good video. 👍🏼 I just subscribed to you’re channel. 😎💈
Hey, thanks very much; that's brilliant. Have a great week. All the best 👍
Keyboard Nazis need to get a life.
Good shave mark you are only one give out the price on this razor cheers bit dear for me have 3 de 89 are good razors can do to shave vids week Like Paul h
Hello Oliver. It seems sensible to tell everyone the price. Did you write that you have three DE 89 razors? I'm going to stick to one shaving video a week and one Sunday sit down, every few weeks.
was going to buy a 3one6 but I think Im going to hold out for Razorocks new OC gamechanger
Take care.
Yes Sheffield steel all Edwin Jagger need to do now is make an adjustable razor
Is that the one that gave you a thumbs down I can see one up there
They'll never do it! They've made a good business out of the DE89 for 30 years. Crikey - was 1989 really that long ago? 😕 I don't know about the thumbs down. Maybe, the fella can't me me😅 The amusing thing is, RUclips doesn't distinguish between thumbs up or down.
How much is 75 pounds ?
You'll have to convert it into your currency. 😃
Someone actually said that they couldn't stand you? In what context?
The message was a comment left on the Model T video and just said "I can't stand that guy". I was quite surprised, but not offended. It just threw me for a moment when the notification appeared.
Nice razor and not priced like it's made out of unobtainium.
Whoever thought of the term unobtainium came up with a really good one; it could almost be a metal. It is reasonably priced and I suppose a few are bound to appear second hand for a little bit less. Thanks for your time, mate. Take care.
I have the same razor all 316 steel it’s very nice. 🖕🏻🤓🖕🏻 to the person who was rude to Mark
Thank you for your support Jay, I really appreciate it and the little emojis made me laugh. Have a good week mate. 👍
So, why should i buy this razor? Just because is stainless ? Fine marvel is 10 times better and cheaper
What is a marvel ?
The Fine Marvel is a good razor but the materials and build quality of the EJ 316 will be a lot, lot better. Check out the reports of build and mould issues with the Marvel.
I'm not saying you should buy this razor and certainly not just because it's stainless. The Fine Marvel is a fantastic razor and one that I really enjoy using but I also enjoyed this one very much too.
Really great video Mark. Great shave brush as well.
