The 3one6 did not disappoint. It is milder than I expected, but that could be remedied with a Kai, or Feather respectively. The fit and finish is flawless, elegant, and gives this new addition to the Jagger line a well appointed, premium kit. The Moon soap was a veil of creaminess. I have heard many sing the praises of their line this past six months. All told, today's episode featured every nuance of a comforting shave. I hope you add the new Jagger to your ever-burgeoning den. The walk about footage was serene. Dundee has such an eclectic architecture, and cityscape. I say this because there are cobblestone walkways that are intersected with modern paved streets and thoroughfares. There are harbors, lighthouses, and peaceful shorelines. The local park was sublime! It was clean, lush, and well manicured. The various eateries, pubs, and clothiers are arranged in such harmonious style. It is as if one steps into the past, and re-enters the present day in a few steps. Broughty Ferry is the pearl of the Tay. I hope this leads to another `on location' shave. I will be adding a 3ONE6 to the den eventually! Very comfortable razor and I want to support a British company. Broughty Ferry is a little gem. A visit there on a sunny summer evening on a weekend is a joy. It has a great feel to it and the bars and restaurants are always busy and the people very friendly and relaxed. I was 7 years old...as I recall it, I was sleepy when Neil Armstrong stepped onto the moon, so it must have been past my bedtime. Historic indeed. I guess I am going to miss the Wet Shaver's Meet-up at the Gentleman's Groom Room...damn! I suppose I just have the placed to myself on the day of my visit. Broughty Ferry; I met a Pensioner's Home nurse on my last visit to Dundee, she said she lives in Broughty Ferry. Very helpful with recommendations for sight seeing. Nice of you to show it for all to see. You are surrounded by welcoming and friendly folks. Might have to have a walk about if there is Gelato! The EJ 3one6 did a nice job. Great audio feedback. Hi kevy, I have always loved the look of this 3one6 red ever since you reviewed it. I bought the all stainless which is great but received my red handled one yesterday. I used it last night with a first use of a Personna blade. It was the platinum chrome super stainless one. Pack of 10 in white plastic case. Blue label with silver band going across with Personna written in red and platinum written below in larger white letters. I got a close shave but the blade didn't feel particularly smooth and left my face very sore. I did a 3 pass shave. The Supershave X blade is great for me in the 3one6. I liked the red razor and didn't find it too head heavy but it doesn't have the balance of the all stainless version. I'm loving the nylon washers between bottom plate and handle. I'm always a little wary of over tightening the handle and the washers look after that! Take care mate and stay safe. Regards, Dave.

Like the tune my first shave yesterday 70 + I WAS so used to cartridges I bought 20 in a pack 2 left I will keep them mach 3, but I Will use d e from now on my technique is okay because I follow similar way I use a cartridge I liked my Parker variant d e enjoy 😉

Great shave Kevy!!! I just used my 3one6 earlier today with Parker blades and it was a marvelous shave! I have the blue handled one. I used it with the TOBS Platinum soap and just some Canoe aftershave. If you haven't tried the Parker blades, give them a try!
Great shave Kevy, and that's a beautiful razor. Got more than enough DE's right now but tempted to give this one a shot one of these days. Maybe as a replacement for my DE89, but I love how mild that razor is, especially when paired with a Feather blade.

Hello Kevy. Andrew here in Antalya. I have the DE89 at the moment. Do you think the 3one6 is a good step up from the DE89. I know you said it's more aggressive but is it too much to step up. Thanks great video.
I use that van der hagen soap to wash out my brushes. Its super cheap and seems to work good getting the stink out. It sucks for shaving though lol. Dries your face out and lacks the slickness of a decent shave soap. It smells nice though. So in my house, it's just refered to as "boar and badger shampoo".

Can’t go wrong with Moon Soaps just used the Amaretto cream they produce wonderful scent, I thought the Husband is a Butcher and provides the tallow for the soap production and the wife is the soap maker. Very affective shave indeed.
I am in fact a butcher...all the fat rendered is cut either by my own hands or by one of the 3 journeyman meat cutters I trust with this task. We only keep the good stuff! What other soap maker knows exactly what goes into their "tallow"? Melody and I are just happy so many people enjoy what we do and appreciate the time that goes into it.

The Rockwell 6S is a better razor in my opinion. Because you can change the plates to alter the efficiency of the razor, it's got lots more options compared to the DE89. Kevy 😀👍

There's no right or wrong way. It's up to the individual. I find lathering the soap on the face a very enjoyable experience of the shave. Everyone lathers differently. Cheers. Kevy 👍

Nicely done Kevy💈💈 Sounds like the 3ONE6 is a much more aggressive shave over the DE89. I'm not a fan of aggressive razors, I use them occasionally but the comfort of the shave is what's important to me these days😉 Chris has neglected his razor I see😊 That brush looks like it has a good knot, bloomed well. Wanted to ask you about the 'iridium' written on blade. I suppose it's a radioactive material. So is it just some marketing mumbo jumbo or do they use it on the blade and if yes why?
Oh, no! Yet another SS razor! Let me tell you that I've already made up my mind. I have finally ordered the Gamechanger .84. I compared many SS razors in the market and set my mind on the Gamechanger. The price was a big factor for me as I try not to go crazy about paying tons of money for a product. Hope I don't regret it.
What are your thoughts about moon soaps in comparison to other more notable performers like A&E and B&M? How does the slickness and post-shave stack up in your opinion?
I don't think they're quite in the same league as A&E or B&M but they're still a relatively new artisan who have a very good soap base and interesting scents. I'm sure they'll continue working on improving as time goes on. Cheers. Kevy 😀

Hi Chris. I'm trying to slow my shaves down! Lol 😂 Ive only had 1 shave with this razor and I'm 99% sure I'm going to buy one when they are back in stock - I only have this one on loan. Most of the reviews have been positive. I don't like recommending things too highly as everyone is different and I would hate for you to spend your money on something that you didn't like. I use that van der hagen soap to wash out my brushes. Its super cheap and seems to work good getting the stink out. It sucks for shaving though lol. Dries your face out and lacks the slickness of a decent shave soap. It smells nice though. So in my house, it's just refered to as "boar and badger shampoo".

Can’t go wrong with Moon Soaps just used the Amaretto cream they produce wonderful scent, I thought the Husband is a Butcher and provides the tallow for the soap production and the wife is the soap maker. Very affective shave indeed.

I am in fact a butcher...all the fat rendered is cut either by my own hands or by one of the 3 journeyman meat cutters I trust with this task. We only keep the good stuff! What other soap maker knows exactly what goes into their "tallow"? Melody and I are just happy so many people enjoy what we do and appreciate the time that goes into it.

The Rockwell 6S is a better razor in my opinion. Because you can change the plates to alter the efficiency of the razor, it's got lots more options compared to the DE89. Kevy 😀👍

Great video and lots of insights and recommendations. How long do you typically spend building your lather and then applying it to your face? There's no right or wrong way. It's up to the individual. I find lathering the soap on the face a very enjoyable experience of the shave. Everyone lathers differently. Cheers. Kevy 👍

There was some black tiny marks on the top cap. The razors looks very similar to the Mühle Rocca. Beware of the hair eating brushes.
I know what you mean, I saw that. I think it's something reflecting onto the top cap as there are no markers on it. This knot has great flow through and works wonderfully well. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍

Nicely done Kevy💈💈 Sounds like the 3ONE6 is a much more aggressive shave over the DE89. I'm not a fan of aggressive razors, I use them occasionally but the comfort of the shave is what's important to me these days😉 Chris has neglected his razor I see😊 That brush looks like it has a good knot, bloomed well. How do you Clean 🧼 your brush after you finish your shave. With warm water 💦 or cold water ?

To me, I t feels closest to the Razorock Gamechanger. It's more efficient than the DE89. Kevy 😀👍

Wanted to ask you about the 'iridium' written on blade. I suppose it's a radioactive material. So is it just some marketing mumbo jumbo or do they use it on the blade and if yes why?

Oh, no! Yet another SS razor! Let me tell you that I've already made up my mind. I have finally ordered the Gamechanger .84. I compared many SS razors in the market and set my mind on the Gamechanger. The price was a big factor for me as I try not to go crazy about paying tons of money for a product. Hope I don't regret it.

I don't think they're quite in the same league as A&E or B&M but they're still a relatively new artisan who have a very good soap base and interesting scents. I'm sure they'll continue working on improving as time goes on. Cheers. Kevy 😀

Hi Chris. I'm trying to slow my shaves down! Lol 😂 Ive only had 1 shave with this razor and I'm 99% sure I'm going to buy one when they are back in stock - I only have this one on loan. Most of the reviews have been positive. I don't like recommending things too highly as everyone is different and I would hate for you to spend your money on something that you didn't like.
