The video stands for the reunion of the band after the band members quarreled after the video for the song "Mutter".
Mutter is the only video in which only Till is playing because the other band members were on holiday after a tour. Although all projects always require 100 percent approval from the band members, Till decided this on his own. It almost broke Rammstein.
You should definitely react to the video of Mutter.
Yes, Rammstein is a true democracy. I heard one of them tell the story that each year they have a band meeting to decide if they're doing anything that year, either writing or playing shows. And if any one of the band members doesn't want to do anything they say: "Okay, See you same time next year..." and go their separate ways. It goes some way to explaining why it took ten years to do a new album.
It's also the reason who one day Rammstein will just stop. Because they will never replace a band member. If one person wants to leave they will just break up entirely.
@@RolandDeschain1 Thats not right for 100%. According to the official making off from "Mutter" its not clear, who made the decision, to only let Lindemann perform in the video.
Its true, it brings the band, which mades decisions in a full democratic way in all belongs, near to a split. But it was not Tills decision. As Joern Reitmann, the director says near timecode 5:40: "Till was the only one who was against the decision of solo performing...."

Recent subscriber. I love to see your generation explore and enjoy our generation of music!!! A lot of it is good. I am 47 and grew up in the 70's and 80's in rural America. In my town it was either rock/ metal or country. I didn't appreciate country at the time. That left rock and metal for me. Plus I live near the Canadian border which exposed me to that market as well. Yes mourning the loss of Neil Peart :( there is beautiful music across all types. witnessing your reactions gives me hope to see youth appreciate what was to inspire what will be. Thank you for sharing your emotions and experiences with this art .

That 'Haifisch' video is genius, especially how they re-did some of their iconic video moments to incriminate the band members in Til's 'death'.
And they're is a creepy Marilyn Manson lookalike in there, and the reason for that is that Manson was originally going to appear in the video but pulled out. So to either honour or take the piss out of him they threw a lookalike in there.

Sorry to say this, but the lyrics are very poor (speak the same language, but me i am not from Germany)! In the end they make solid music in the last 27 years! They made much better songs than this one!
