The video was shot after the band almost split up. This had to do with the video for the song "Mutter", which Till shot on his own, and that Richard now lives far away from the band in New York. Through sessions with a relationship counsellor they were able to overcome their differences. The band still uses these consultations today.
The video shows Till standing outside the group at the beginning and being eyed suspiciously by the other members. On the mountain the group goes ahead and he follows at a distance. The accident makes him realise that he won't make it up the summit without the group. Together they managed to climb the mountain.
The song itself can be seen as a description of a drug addiction.

Rammstein is very much a team effort, there are no flashy soloes, just perfected cooperation.

@@okaydoomer533 It is. There are often/almost always multiple levels of interpretation and meanings in Rammstein songs. The love part is one of those levels.
"Haifisch" is the next logical choice🙂
Haifisch contains elements from every Rammstein video up until that point, so I'd recommend waiting with that one until all other videos have been seen.

It's kinda hard to say if it's the next one due to the heavy pointers towards the other music videos and many of the reactions have been from live performances..
They can however go back and see the videos before the reaction and then get more out of it, but I agree that Haifish is an excelent next song.
Then I would like Morgenstern, Spring, Mein Land and of cause Radio and Deuchland. :)

I'm impressed by Suzy Q, without understanding German, only by musical mood and pictures, she intuitively felt the sadness and the act of giving last honor to a close friend, a camerad, spoken old style. That's female wisdom and makes her so unbelievable sympathic.

I adore this song. I am a 61 yr old Aussie mum who loves Rammstein thanks to my son when he was a teenager.
Till was born and raised in the countryside. His parents didin't have so much money to pay everything /stuffs...that he always wished when he was young: he has to work very hard years before to be an adult (years later he became an olympic swimmer, being part of Geman squad in Los Angeles '84). That's way this song it's so special for him. In addition, this song has a vey deep meaning for Rammstein because they were close to break up as a band. Thanks for your reaction and probable after reading this comment, you will enjoy this song so much better :) (sorry for my English grammar)
