gnf Walmart, Kroger, and Publix all carry them. However, if you want the real thing you can actual go to your local Starbucks and buy the big bottles like I have. About $12-1$14 each. They last me months.
Shelbey Wilson Home Oh wow ok, we only have Walmart from those options but I’ll definitely be on the lookout! And I never knew that was possible omg lol thank you so much!!
You don’t need the syrup it will taste as good for me I make myself a caramel macchiato with my ice caramel and coffee of course and it tastes as good as the real coffee.
You can buy these anywhere. There are also off brand versions. She never specified you have to use the brands she did. You're not gonna get a white mocha without white mocha sauce, or a caramel macchiato without caramel lol
She said "add caramel syrup" and not "add starbucks caramel syrup" that's different. Videos like these are helpful for me. I managed to make great caramel macchiato at home with homemade caramel sauce and vanilla syrup that I made myself.
You can make a mint syrup this way too! (Since I'm a huge fan of peppermint mochas). 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 tsp mint extract. Mix in the extract after cooling the syrup.
As a Starbucks Barista, I would say this is a pretty good video. Also, I noticed you added the coffee last which appeared to have melted the ice. Side note: For the best quality and taste, I would suggest starting off with syrups/ sauce, then add espresso/coffee, and then milk.
Tari Danielle Thanks! I think I used the syrups first in all recipes. For Macchiatos, I always see that the sauce is used as a topper last, which is why I used it that way. One of my favorite Starbucks drinks is an iced latte macchiato and I always notice the baristas put the ice and milk in first. I’m just going along by observation 🙃
@@shelbeywilsondaily6396 You did a great job and I enjoyed watching your video☺I was just writing a little side note for those who aren't familiar with making the classic Starbuck drinks.
Shelbey Wilson Home you did right by doing that because in macchiatos the shots are supposed to go on top i think they suggested you putting the shots first on bottoms because it appears you like yours upside down (mixed together) that’s how we make iced lattes with the shots on bottom, it also helps melt the syrup/ sauce together.
CHECK OUT MY LATEST DAIRY FREE ICED STARBUCKS DRINK VIDEO HERE: ruclips.net/video/JG1nVlYv1pw/видео.html ***READ BEFORE COMMENTING*** Note that when making the espresso drinks, if you have an espresso maker at home, replace where I listed “2 cups of espresso” with 2 shots (of course you can always add more). If you are using espresso grounds in a Moka pot, traditional coffee maker, or French press, the 1-2 cup measurement is more accurate since your flavor won’t be as bold as using an espresso machine! BTW: For those asking about where I get the syrups from - I buy them directly from my local Starbucks. Just ask the barista for your favorite flavor (large bottles are usually around $12-$15 each) OR you can find the store bought Starbucks/Torani/Monai syrups at most grocery stores (Walmart, Kroger, Publix, Winn Dixie etc.) If you cannot find them in store here's a link on Amazon: rstyle.me/+gjEOZf2u7NgTmzNAxGI8hQ
i’m a starbucks barista and i loved this video, the white chocolate mocha is my favorite! i will say, though, for lattes it tastes better when you do syrups, then espresso, and then milk. also, the caramel macchiatos have vanilla syrup instead of caramel, and when we make it at starbucks we use 1 less pump than usual for this drink
I work for Starbucks and here’s a quick tip. Iced and hot Caramel macchiatos do not contain caramel syrup. For a Grande (16oz) its 3 pumps vanilla, 2 espresso shots (around 2 ounces of espresso) ice and caramel drizzle in a cross-hatch pattern.
Shelbey Wilson Home Ah got it! I just wanted to make it clear since many people that order a caramel macchiato from us complain that there isn’t caramel in the drink :)
And they sell cold brew at Trader Joe’s that you can either make yourself in a pitcher or large mason jar or they have concentrate that you can mix with water. You don’t need a fancy machine unless you want one and the syrups are relatively inexpensive when you consider how many drinks you could make with them!
I got Starbucks syrup at Walmart for $4.18 and some Starbucks coffee too that I’m just gonna make a little stronger in my coffee maker to mimic espresso 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
I got a syrup at Walmart for $3 and almond milk for $2 I already have coffee and a Starbucks Tumblr I got for Christmas so ya it's actually really affordable I've had the caramel for about 2 no the and I use it everyday for my coffee.
barista here! for cold foam, if you want fluffier foam, skim milk is the best! we tend to use that or 2%, just depending on the drink. for a better mixed latte, you want to put your syrup in, THEN your espresso. not milk! the heat of the espresso helps the syrup mix in the drink. then add your milk and ice! this was a great video, keep up the amazing work!! ❤️
for macchiatos on the other hand, put your syrup and milk at the bottom, ice, then espresso. macchiato is another word for marked, meaning that the espresso “marks” your milk. those are all for aesthetic pleasure, but taste the same as a regular latte 😋
Thanks for the suggestion! The Starbucks baristas in the comments said they used sweet cream for this particular beverage. It’s definitely thicker and sweeter than their traditional cold foams! I used heavy because my blender sucks and if I use half and half it gets too hot before it’s able to froth/whip to the right consistency 😬

Hi, barista here! For sweet cream we use vanilla syrup, heavy cream & a bit of 2%! This with an additional few pumps of vanilla is our Sweet Cream Cold Brew. For the SALTED foam use the “Sweet Cream” with salt added and blend! This way it’s sweet and salty, not just salty heavy cream:)
Thank you, I noticed she only added salt. The salted cold foam cold brew is my FAVE and i appreciate learning how it's made. I'm dread the sad day when it gets dc'd
Everything looks awesome! I might need to get some of those flavourings in the bottles because I currently just do regular iced coffees. Gotta up my game !
as a tip, when you're using syrups or sauces, add the hot coffee to the bottom of the cup w the flavoring first to better incorporate, then add milk, then ice! it'll keep your drink from being watered down and make the flavors blend in more seamlessly! the macchiato is the only one where the coffee goes over the ice, and i would recommend a smaller dose of espresso, OR let the coffee cool a little beforehand so the ice doesn't melt immediately when you pour it in and you'll get that pretty divide between the milk and espresso :)
I just tried the white mocha recipe. I absolutely love it! Taste just like Starbucks! I'm looking forward trying the other recipes in this video. Thank you!
Just a tip for the last one Put the espresso in a shaker with, only one or two pieces of ice,and then transfer it to a glass or jar with ice This way the coffee is less watery and has a richer flavor

for the vanilla syrup- just mix sugar, vanilla extract, and hot water together and then cool. most recipes online are in large portions but i just do a tablespoon of each for one drink
hi all! As a Starbucks barista I’d like to add, when making a caramel macchiato you want to add the Carmel drizzle last, on top of the espresso because it keeps the espresso on top of the drink which is what makes it a macchiato!
I’m a Starbucks barista and These are pretty accurate but the cold foam is actually made with non fat milk and you get a much nicer foam. Also you would want to shake the double shot on ice 10 times really hard so that it’s much more foam than that!
I was told by the baristas that the salted cold foam is made with sweet cream and a bit of salt. I always find its creamier and sweeter than the regular cold foams!
Shelbey Wilson Home omg you’re absolutely right! sorry I didn’t see the salted part! 🤦♀️ since I see that you have the syrup btw add some vanilla syrup to the heavy cream and you’ve pretty much got yourself the sweet cream for that cold foam to the T!
Tip: stir the sauce with hot coffee (or espresso) before adding the coffee. It mixes better that way because it melts in the coffee instead of the sauce clumping up and sinking to the bottom of the iced drink.
If you want cold foam but do not have the machine to blend it use a mason jar. Put a little heavy whip and a pump of syrup (your choice of flavor) in jar. Screw on the lid and shake till it’s thick. Easy! 😁

I started watching this thinking oh cool that’ll be nice to know and after two drinks I realized I’m a barista for a living and I know this stuff 😂.
