Jayne Mansfield wasn't decapitated. A photographer took a picture of the scene with her wig in it, which came off in the crash. People assumed her head was in it, but it wasn't.
If you ever get the chance, go visit the Museum of Death in Los Angeles. They have some good scene photos of her accident that I haven't ever been able to find online.
I remember watching Jon Erik in Cover Up,what happened to the younger actor in the series. I loved Combat with Vic Morrow watched it late nights as a teenager in the 80’s.Jennifer Jason Leigh is Morrow’s daughter. William Holden was a great actor.Tragic thing how many older golden age movie stars battled the bottle.😢
Sadly it's still stigmatised. My son comit suicide and the very mention of the word is whispered, hidden and censored. Mental health awareness is at an all time high but the stigma of mental illness is just as bad as it has ever been
Following Valentino's death, doctors who treated him later confirmed that the actor had contracted sepsis, an overwhelming infection. He’s in Wikipedia.
He had peritonitis from an ulcer. IF they had sulfur drugs back then and penicillin, he likely would have lived. Penicillin wasn't developed until 1940.
Ahhhh! Interesting! Never knew ulcers could get that bad. I think they’re called sulfa drugs. I’m unfortunately allergic to Penicillin, but it’s a great to know when it was developed. Love smarter making trivia. Thanks!
Sepsis is notoriously hard to detect and to treat, even in modern medicine. The symptoms are not that obvious when it begins to develop, and it progresses fast.
Bruce Lee’s son died in an accident with a prop gun. That’s why it’s important for those who oversee the use of guns in films to make sure there’s no live ammunition or bits of it. It was tragic.
And yet it still happens. Look at Alec Baldwin shooting a staff member on set with a gun that was supposed to have blanks in it. There's a Gunman and weapons expert on every movie set using them. It's his job to lock weapons up when not in use. His eyes are never supposed to leave the weapons. He is to know where weapons are at all times. If accidents happen, he should be held responsible.
My heart goes out to all of these lost souls but one that could've been mentioned was Stringbean from the Hee Haw TV series. From what I've been told, the one who played Grandpa in the series went to Beans home and found both him and his wife brutally murdered and to my knowledge it is still unsolved today.
According to what's on his memorial on Find A Grave, he and his wife were murdered at their home by several people intent on robbing him as he was known for carrying around large sums of money on his person and didn't care who knew about that fact.
Poor William Navarro. And several of the others on this list. What it all came down to was loneliness, that led them to risky behavior. I think the movie "The Midnight Cowboy" was based on the Navarro story.
That is unfair to say Polo Negri acted out for the press when Rudolf Valentino died. They had been together as a couple. She had moved in with him 2 weeks before he died.
She was very likely offed by the Kennedy brothers. She was humping both of them (JFK&RFK) and had threatened to do a tell all about her escapades with the both. She had been warned to behave herself but didn’t listen.
Hate that Pola Negri was made fun of. She was in an affair with Rudolf Valentino when he died. Valentino was unmarried and free to be with whoever he wanted.
Meriwether Lewis was said to have committed suicide but he was shot twice, in the time of single shot weapons this would be nearly impossible, but the mystery is still with us....
Rudolf Valentino death was not controversial . He had stomach ulcers being treated. He developed pain in his stomach let it continue not realizing he was experiencing appendicitis until the appendix ruptured.
Actually she was "Queen of Darryl F. Zanuck's casting couch." She did a lot of men like Joe DiMaggio, Arthur Miller, Yves Montand (and THAT's all within a six year span???) *JFK had done LOTS of women in the WH, so why didn't any of them die???* She got what she got because she gave 'it' away. She was a no talent hack and her 15 minutes of fame was starting to run out running out (By that time, even Jane Mansfield's career was declining as well.)
I believe she was offed by the Kennedys. I never thought she was very attractive and was very limited in talent but it was certainly sad to see how she was chewed up and spit out.
In biographies of her, stated it hurt her when JFK and RFK both unceremoniously dumped her and cut off all communication, she was trying to get revenge on them by revealing things told to her during pillow talk, she didn't know how dangerous that was for her, she was probably murdered to permanently silence her. Dorothy Kilgallen (last name may be misspelled) also died under mysterious circumstances. She had information to reveal, was probably also murdered to silence her, she probably also didn't realize it was not good to reveal that information publicly.
Peg Entwistle climbed up on the "HollywoodLAND" sign and jumped off the last letter, D, to her death. The sign was to advertise a new housing area being built. The final 4 letters decayed and slid down the hill where she had died years before. ~~ Lynne

Marilyn Monroe died because she knew too much and both Kennedys concubine.
Jayne Mansfield wasn't decapitated. A photographer took a picture of the scene with her wig in it, which came off in the crash. People assumed her head was in it, but it wasn't.
That was an old rumor.
Exactly 💯 true.
@@nancydemoss2945 she wasn't decapitated.

That's true. It was her wig. The George Reeves death. I think that was Murder.
Ah Vic Morrow. How I loved the tv show Combat! when I was younger. What a terrible accident for him and those kids. I still remember it.
I lived in Valencia when that occurred… and it was heartbreaking….💔💔💔
Marishka Hargitay is Jane Mansfield’s daughter.
She was in vehicle when the automobile accident happened 😢😢😢😢😢
Houdini died of a ruptured appendix when he was punched. He died on Halloween. It was a stupid thing to test.
It wasn't a test by him, someone unexpectedly walked up to him and punched him before he could prepare for the punch in advance.
I remember watching Jon Erik in Cover Up,what happened to the younger actor in the series.

Thought you could say suicide on here. The word is used everywhere and everyday. Its not offensive, its a fact of life, sadly
Agreed.
Democrats fear words
EXACTLY!!! Enough with the censorship. 🤬🤬🤬
Sadly it's still stigmatised. My son comit suicide and the very mention of the word is whispered, hidden and censored.

Following Valentino's death, doctors who treated him later confirmed that the actor had contracted sepsis, an overwhelming infection. He’s in Wikipedia.
yes, he had a stomach ulcer that burst. I personally think the hair restorer he was drinking caused the ulcer.
😆🤭

Nice compilation.
Love and still love Vic Morrow!!! He was THE MAN ....rip Vic. You've been gone a long time, but are still loved by many...💜🙏🏽
20:53 Hexum was one fine man. I remember him❤

you’re right. Wasn’t the movie armorer held responsible? I don’t remember.
Y'ALL TALK WAAAAY TOO MUCH. Y'ALL DON'T HAVE ENOUGH LIFE IN YOUR BODY AND EXPERIENCE IN LIFE TO GIVE AN OPINION. JUST STFU AND LISTEN AND WATCH

As a kid I watched Vic Morrow on Combat. He wasn’t too shabby on an Ironside episode.
no Sal Meneo?
I think Sal Mineo was robbed and killed. They didn't know who he was...
I was thinking the same thing.....😢
Sal Mineo
Hollywoodland is a good movie (based on George Reeves' death). Ben Affleck portrays Reeves. Diane Lane is Mrs Mannix. Bob Hoskins her "Fixer" husband.
The narrator said suicide several times in the beginning then it gets bleeped later on…smh
It seems kind of appropriate for Houdini to pass on Halloween. 🙏❤😔
What's with all the sudden reallly loud bleeps in this?
No bleeps in my viewing of it. Maybe they fixed it. Good for me 😁
Conspiracies are the normal way ❤️ in this industry. Mysterious things have happened to stars and those do work in movies. Blessings!!!
18:24 what's with the beeping
Black Dahlia has been closed. Dr. Hodel popular in Hollywood. His son a Homicide Detective solved the case.
Thanks, didn't know it had been solved.
Jayne Mansfield was no match too Marilyn Monroe!
Boy do I remember Lana Turner
But you left out Paul Byrne Jean Harlow’s husband and his weird death
Why is the word suicide censored??
I was just shocked by Marilyn Monroe when I wrote that she had a car accident I was really shocked
Lizz tailor played double rolls " in Cleopatra " she also played the snake "😮 29:16
unwatchable with all the flashing onscreen. No idea why you think that adds anything.
The "flashing" is to give it a vintage effect. Sorry you can't view it. It was a really good video.
Reeves, supposedly shot himself in the temple, how did the hole get in the ceiling.
I believe that he was murdered.
It is thought that it may not have been suicide, may have been murder.
Why where words beeped out
Poor William Navarro. And several of the others on this list. What it all came down to was loneliness, that led them to risky behavior. I think the movie "The Midnight Cowboy" was based on the Navarro story.
The “scratchy dirty film” effect is overdone and goes through the entire video, it gets old, take it out.
That is unfair to say Polo Negri acted out for the press when Rudolf Valentino died. They had been together as a couple. She had moved in with him 2 weeks before he died.
The repetitive screen flickering effect throughout was both unnecessary and annoying.
Beth Short was not a celebrity, not till she was dead anyway.
Marilyn? The blonde that knew too much.........?.
She was very likely offed by the Kennedy brothers. She was humping both of them (JFK&RFK) and had threatened to do a tell all about her escapades with the both. She had been warned to behave herself but didn’t listen.
I believe it.

I'm glad I'm a nobody...how sad that decades later their sad deaths are still splashed across screens.
Marylan knew too much, talked to much, and was murdered for it. Candle in the Wind - Elton John. The song fits.
Actually she was "Queen of Darryl F. Zanuck's casting couch." And the facts that Monroe gave herself a suppository right before she died.
She gave it to herself did she!!!
Peg W looks like Anne Hesch.
wHY ALL THE BLEEPS?????
Francus farmer story is horrendus. She wouldnt conform to hollywood rules and was punished by them.
Number 11 was also in the series "voyagers."
Is there adult version of RUclips
Bill Holden drank way to much
So have lots of people, then and now. His biography stated that he fell, unconscious, and found days later, he might have been saved if found sooner.
Rudolf Valentino died from a perforated stomach and appendicitis. The last report.
John Carpenter as in THE John Carpenter??
🤣 Give us a break, Lana Turner had blown well-past her starlet days when JS was murdered.😝
Stompanato was indeed a mobster. He was rough and a bully, so it's possible that Cheryl had had enough abuse.
Yes Hearst shot him over Marion Davies his lover
Can't endure the non-stop old movie fake scratches filter. Annoying, distracting, and unnecessary. Make it stop!
DAAAAAAAYUUUUUUMN, YOU ARE MISERABLE! WHY WHINE, JUST CHANGE!
I’m surprised Brittany Murphy wasn’t on here
You can't say the word suicide on youtube... beyond belief
What kind of wood doesn’t float? Natalie Wood😢 Walken knows what happened
Nope she was pushed
This was her second time marrying Wagner
Right.
9nly someone there would know
Difficult woman to have sympathy for.
Sympathy for WHO?
The words are "suicide" and "rape, NOT "BEEP". 🤬🤬🤬
