So relatable in the relationship part. Made me feel like I’m not alone from from being in a toxic relationship to finally hearing my heart say this isn’t what I want anymore and letting that person finally go. Love is definitely blind! I couldn’t agree and relate more to Tobie and being able to find new love again but not falling for that person as quickly as my last relationship, if it works out it’ll work out and if it doesn’t then that’s okay too. So far it’s working out and I’m happier than I could ever be. Very amazing video! Thank you Ladies!

It is true think differently. It is really easy to say but hard to accomplish in front of a Narcissist. So much confusion they create. It takes time and a lot of heartaches. Love your comment about Women power and being so Feminine snuggling and loving your husband wish to know more.

The meaning of this series is so important and critical for the development of women lives. We need role models, we need stories from the women who has risen up from dirt on their own two feet. Women do not need to rely on the societal approval or agreement as to decide what to do with our lives. This program helps so much to tune into more important and meaningful messages given to my heart. I am currently gathering my all strength to escape the swamp i have made solely in order to please the society and people around me. The thing is I MADE THE SWAMP ! So I NEED to build the foundation myself. Thank you WOIM for giving me the courage and support. I keep listening to all the episodes and getting stronger inside.

Thank you for talking in-depth about speaking up. With your partner, your friends, at work, on the tennis court.
Thank you for talking about toxic relationships. I reckon this is topic that will touch women across the world. I feel like many women have been through this, and hearing Tobie talk about how she got out of it was very insightful!
Creating an alter ego sounds incredibly powerful! Will definitely give this a shot.

Are we really 'telling our brains' lies, or are our brains telling 'us' lies? Are we really separate from our brains? Since nearly all perception gets processed through the brain, except reflexes and whatever influences the microbes in us are having (which is a fascinating subject we are just beginning to discover), I think it is our brains that tell us things we misinterpret, or rather, interpret in our various ways. The stories we tell ourselves are all made up. Most of our stories serve us well at some point and then no longer do, as we continue to evolve/grow. Telling better stories is a key to happy living to me. Little things add up to big things.
You are both great examples of empowered women. I think the social stigmas around "bad" and "good" drugs are causing much more devastation than the actual drugs. Consuming anything in a mindless way, or with an attitude of dis-empowerment is ultimately doing more harm than good, from my perspective. Labeling certain behaviors as shameful leads to a rapid downward spiral. I think it is more about the social stigmas than the drugs themselves.
I know I am in the vast minority in this thinking, and yet, I feel it is an important part of the 'addiction discussions' which is being ignored to all our detriment.
I feel like I have struggled from a different place than the majority of women, growing up with no father and never feeling complete in a 'supporting female' role...I was clear about my own voice from the start, the only one I could depend on most of my life. I had no idea that females are considered weak and less valuable to society until I hit puberty and started to be sexually assaulted (no tv and no home examples of mainstream family dynamics) and now really trying to learn to embrace and enjoy that feminine role more without feeling disempowered in it. ...learning to accept help and feel valuable when I am a silent or unappreciated help.
Abusive relationships are such an easy trap to fall into. It's tough to know where to draw the line sometimes, when we are 'blinded by love' or by our ego identities we think society wants for us. So important for us to continue to discuss this subject.
    Much love and respect!

    Hi Lisa,
This is a great episode and i can relate to so many things. I want to ask that sometimes we are with people where others are talking and we can't speak because we don't relate to those topics, or they are not the topics to be considered. For example, i can't talk about people. I accept them for whatever they do or not do. However, i consider myself a good conversation maker. I can talk to strangers even. But i am not able to make conversation with some people. With them i feel inferior. What is this feeling? How to get over this?

    Hi Lisa!
As always I love these so much!
I have a question for you. I want to be a woman of impact. I want to share with the world my real authentic self sometimes I feel though i'm holding myself back because i'm afraid of tainting the view my family has of me. But I have a voice and I know people need to hear it. How do I get over that fear? My family already hates my career choices they question it all the time. I'm just doing me.
    Thanks girl! 💜🙏

Sarah Kruse Thanks so much Sarah for reaching out! I actually just posted today on IG about fear. You can’t let it hold you back! Your goal and dream doesn’t reflect how you feel about your family. And if they disagree with your actions then that’s likely because they have fear too. Don’t live a life of “what if”! You’ll always regret not trying! What’s the worst that could happen? You’ll fail? Yeh that will suck but it will make you stronger. So you still gain something!
      You got this girl!!!

Wanting to be with someone, rather than needing to be with them, is interdependent, not codependent. Codependence is dysfunctional & interdependence is healthy dependence.
How you said, "being codependent by choice", is interdependent.
