I’m so happy to see mature happy couples sharing there perspective on Marriage. I’m seeing that over 50 and single , people think they have to settle. In actuality they need to just put some Realization on where they are at that point in life. If 2 can come together be happy, Make it happen! This was good to see!
@@trayshana yes, I totally agree. One can be over 50 and yet not Mature enough to understand what maturity is. Your personal position in life is a testament to being a leader for one’s you want to follow you. Bring happily married, financially secure, in alignment with Gods purpose….! You become a magnet to make a difference in every walk of life. Otherwise, those who are lost do not have a willingness to follow you, let alone listen to you. Defeat the battle to Win the War!🙏🏽
Great, Great Conversation. My Hope level just skyrocketed. Healthy, intentional Love is POSSIBLE at any age and there definitely isn't one way. Great job guys.
Rodney makes me see that what keeps a man faithful is 2 things; 1 - His desire and commitment to himself to be faithful. 2 - Him meeting that person who he feels is his soul mate. Regardless of the challenges they face in the relationship, he'll remain faithful because of the commitment he has to himself and the true love he has for his woman. I'm happy to see love after 60. And I'm happy to see Adrienne find happiness after multiple marriages. Many people give up after one failed marriage so it's a reminder to never give up.
Great convo. Definitely important to talk about the expectations of what you want YOUR marriage to look like vs what society thinks it should be. This one size fits all method is not working. My ideas and thoughts of marriage at 24 has evolved at nearly 49.
I'm not old fashioned but I do believe the woman should make the adjustment especially if he owns a business that he is trying to run and kept a float. Praying ti works out for this couple
I agree people live how that want there the ones with each other ! Older people stayed a lot of times by force not choice an yes women where cooking breakfast an dinners because they wasn’t out working 9-5 climbing the corporate latter getting education. The cooking an cleaning was their job society has evolved an we have to evolve with it if we choose too
I hope Mr. Rodney lives where he is HAPPY!! Im from D.C. area and life on West Coast is different. He is in his 70's she been married 4x...so if she doesn't want to live full time on East coast.....so be it... those are choice 's we make. They seem like a beautiful couple....🥰 🚦 Traffic is different out west..Mr. Rodney Is older ....he probably owns his house and likes his grocery store...and green grass... The Barefoot Countess and her millionaire husband live bi-coastal and they have been married over 50 years....
No Advice to other couples. Don't let others into your relationship trying to give you advice. Bi-coastal relationships can and do work both people have to be committed with it. There's a lot of trust that goes into it...
first show that I totally disagree, marriage is a God thing a holy covenant between a man and woman lead by God. No matter how we try to go around under through its not so.
Could it be Muslim couples haven't "signed" up for the show or aren't ready to show such an intimate part of their lives? It could be a multitude of reasons or just one
Being on TV could open more questions/concerns than people would like to deal with. We all know that we live in a very judgmental society and people don't want to be accessible to others 💜
A few seasons ago, they had an interfaith couple (Ephraim & Renece) where the husband was Muslim. They had a great relationship and talked about respecting each other’s religions and shared values.
Love is not what binds a marriage. It brings the couple together to become married. It is full, open, consistent communication that binds a marriage.
