This series has been like marriage counseling for me and my nerves. I be on the verge of breakdown and just feeling upset 😢. Clear communication and trust in your partner is so important
I love that they are best friends with their spouses. Their transparency, respect, healthy self esteem and trust is beautiful. That’s real relationship goals. 💕
That bar story clip at the beginning totally got me 😄. I definitely need to catch up on all the other episodes. I truly do enjoy hearing their stories about what makes their relationships work for them. You can truly learn from anyone on here. The best part is every relationship doesn't have to be like everyone else's. A relationship can be what you want it to be not what society wants. I wish everyone all the best. Maybe one day when i find my someone; i can be on that show 😄♥️.
I can not believe I jumped on the Black Love bandwagon so late! These couples and their stories were awesome...and they all were navigating careers and making their relationships work. Whew. There's hope!
I love that Codie uses beautiful black couples to display real marriage issues and couples that are not afraid to state when they are right or wrong and also mature ways to overcome those issues. The couples were great and made me feel like I really need to grow in my marriage yet alone as a wife. Thanks Black Love ! Awesome awesome show!
The transparency and vulnerability is so beautiful and appreciated! We are always evolving as people so communication and understanding is very important!
Communication...open AND honest Communication, that is...is key to a successful relationship/marriage. People often feel as if they will be judged or looked down on if feelings/urges are surfacing or resurfacing, but grown people NEED TO HAVE grown people conversations before someone steps out/cheat on the other one I loveeeeee this platform/forum
Yes in it to win, no quitting on your marriage. 2gerher for ever🎉🎉 thks for sharing this morning, the takeaways for me.. Check in with your spouse, allow them to be real with me & no matter what support each other and stick it out.. A successful marriage is two ppl working at it together..Beautiful couples here. Enjoy your day🎉🥂🌻
Having suffered so much trans early in my life. I am grateful for you because you show and teach what healthy relationships look like. I'm still waiting for the last episode to upload to RUclips or the app. Can't wait to watch it. Thank you.
I’ve been trying to find the song that plays on the end of the episode. It’s written and performed by Major. I can’t find it! It’s such a beautiful song
Charles’ wife is nervous & this is the second video I’ve seen where it seems like it stings when he talks about temptation. A part of knowing your partner is being sensitive to what will trigger negative feelings, especially in front of others. Not judging at all. Just an observation 🤍.
I agree. I picked up on the same thing from the last video with them where his wife looked like she wanted to crawl out of her skin during his 3 minute rant about him wanting to cheat now that according to him he has more access to women smh. He’s not very tactful in the way he communicates about these things.
You're right. Women go above and beyond to protect their man's ego but this guy doesn't have that courtesy for his wife. Someone needs to tell him that not everything needs to be said.
I am going to keep it a buck about these 2 beautiful couples. The friendship is definitely one sided in both relationships. The men control these powerful women with the idea 💡 & desire to cheat which causes trauma. There's a lack of consistent spiritual human connections in which these women choose to suffer in silence due to FEAR. The men seem to operate within the EGOS = false sense of self. I am glad they're showing appreciation to their wives and are open to grow within their relationships. I wish them well.
I'm glad someone else sees it! I'm listening to the men talk about other women's bodies but do the wives get to comment other men's bodies like that???
This is us (😜) between my guy and me but we know at theendof the nightwe going to be together. It is just stroking our egos to know we are still attractive to each other and other people. If you study it though oftentimes it is the woman who protects and provides on a higher level than her male partner who brings the knowhow whereas it is the woman who brings the grace to the space.
@@lcjones4682 yeah i agree with you. Some people just have a naturally loud voice. I don't think they all intend to be super loud. Like my mom for example, she has a natural loud voice tone and my dad is too but he's is a bit lower. My voice is not naturally loud so i have to speak up more than a normal person. That's what makes us all unique 😄.
If you choose to get married, you SHOULD be making the effort to stay faithful to your spouse. Otherwise, don't bother. The consequences of adultery are never worth the grief.
These couples are real. Have you watched the other episodes? Go back to when they first started and you will see all of the couples they have interviewed. That's what makes the show great, real couples talking about their marriage.

And that they are honest with each other
Oh wow. I wish more men would be honest enough to share their vices on Day 1. That's so mature.
I agree 100%!
I love how mature Charles's wife is. she gives me I know my worth but I know what I want too vibes. she I'd cool people.. ❤🥰
Yes and she seems the mature one....hes seems to be the funny guy who never is serious.
Cody and Tommy are pure gems...Cody, you were born for this girl...Love you both.

Awesome job Codie and Tommy! I love watching Black Love! This season was amazing! This After Love was very eye opening and awesome. Great couples! 🌹💐
The transparency and vulnerability is so beautiful and appreciated! We are always evolving as people so communication and understanding is very important!
It was his responsibility to get the girl of his lap, not hers and I'm glad she made that clear. No cat fights for a man.
Exactly!

Communication trust and really transparency is a must in marriage
Black love has magic!!
Good conversation and great topic. You have to talk about everything

Wrong observation
Nadia C Thanks. My opinion still stands 🤍.
@@jhodie-alexi322 wrong observation about someone you know nothing about

Ugh stfu. Damn y’all love to over analyze these couples and never know wtf you’re talking about. Stop projecting your bullshit onto these couples
There is other types out there lol I don't miss you lol what are we gona do now 🤣🤣🤣
Does anyone know what song is played at the end the end of episode 6? “ baby baby baby will you love me love me forever and always “

I love this !!#!
I just love this show!!
That Charles man needs to learn to speak without shouting. He is too loud.
Some people are just loud talkers.

I thought it was just me. I wanted if it's nerves he is kinda irritating but she loves him so it's all good.
Oh snap, let Charles live.🎙🎚🎤🔊
you nitpicking... this shouldn't even be your concern, but whatever...
#black love team.

Something about Charles don't sit right with me every video I get a off vibe with him
I wanted to see a softer side of him when she started crying
@@nikkipenn9714 me too and instead he started laughing
Lol yes, I think it’s a nervous/uncomfortable laugh lmbo
Charles said he can talk a lot but not communicate…so he’s aware of his flaws and trying and it takes TIME. Shirleen is so lovely.
ChiTown stand up!!
The Charles man 🥴I don’t care for him!! He’s very loud and just piggybacks off the other man.
Is it just me, but I don’t think Shireen should have been silent during that transition…. 👀
Do you believe them? Do you think they are acting??
