    Fun Fact for all the non-italians: that one is a say that we have here in Italy. He translated it in the most literal way. It is so common here that no one ever laughs at it anymore. I have never realized how fun it could be when it is translated so brutally like that.
    EDIT (10 months and 140 replies after the original comment): As it appears from the comments below, this say has countless variations in many different languages around the world. I am glad to have sparked this discussion.

    Amazing! I always thought that was a Yiddish expression. To hear it from this Italian cutting up these Brits in laughter is delightful. My dad always said ''If my grandmother had wheels, she'd be a bus!''
