yes, "soft touch". Its way better than other gamepads in general. Game Devil's Trident gamepad also has "soft touch" material. U get rlly nice grip from the controller than those plastic ones (ps4 included).

I think this has more handle to grip than the standard ps4 my hands are huge and I had to look everywhere to find a controller that fits comfortably in my hands when I go to click left stick I have to reposition my hand back to place which in most cases fast pace games I'm don't for but it's my problem as I have big hands this controller fits perfectly. And also the thing with wired controllers is they are made more for fps games first person shooters because with wireless controllers sometimes there are interruptions in the frequency between the controller and console this interruption causes delay meaning most people will shout out omg the lag or the servers are fucked lol but it's simply frequency lag which is where the wired controllers come in no input lags or delays.
Bought this today because my razor raju broke never ever buying this nacon again it has a incorrect accuracy in cod games and has input lag like crazy I’m going to buy another razor raju as it is so honest with your finger movements making the best controller in the world for aiming and precision
My favorite gamepad so far. Pros: Material is "soft touch", better than most of the plastic gamepads that feel slippery in hands (ps4 included). Shape is bit different from ps4 gamepad but in my opinion in positive way. Also luv bigger right side buttons than in other gamepads in general. Cons: Cant find thumbsticks for analog sticks, cus they have little bit smaller surface than other gamepads in general.
for me its the most comfortable controller i ever owned...in terms of ergonomics its far better than my dualshock 4 and xbox 360 controler...my hands dont ever get tired....shape of the nacon compact is perfect for me, note: i have a bit smaller hands .... plus its completely pc compatible, unlike dulashock 4....i can't play older games on steam wiht d4, but i can play every game with nacon compact, plus you can use it as a mice on your pc ( you can move arrow pointer with analog sticks with this controller), which i found impossible on xbox 360 and dulashock 4 controllers ....just plug it in your pc and you are good to go, just like with ps4
Picked this one up a while ago but then in camouflage colour. The L3 button on my older DualShock was having some issues so i decided to try this one out. After 1,5 week i can say that the controller is ok but not as good as the DualShock. I have also quite big hands and eventually i had some pain in my hand because the controller might be slightly to small for my hands. Since yesterday it is going better so might be something to get used to. It is doing the job, the cable is long enough for my setup, you can't start the PS4 when pressing the PS button though. For the price of €39 it is good enough. If you want to be sure that you get a decent one you better stick to DualShock.

I have the ps4 connected to a tv in the upstairs room. But i wanted to also be able to play it in the living room. I split the hdmi cable and run it through a hdmi to ethernet cable converter. The ethernet cable runs through the wall down to the living room where I convert it back to hdmi. I did the same for a usb cable. But to my surprise, when I connected the ps4 controller to the usb cable in the livingroom, the controller didn't connect... After googling some it turns out the ps4 dualshock controller doesn't use the wire to transmit data. It ALWAYS uses Bluetooth.... It only uses the usb to charge (but for some reason it does transmit data over the wire if you plug the controller into a pc..). The controller you reviewed is a life safer in my situation

I’ve had a few issues with it. ( in gta and apex as they are great for detecting faulty controllers ) the touch pad was messed up, but got fixed automatically and no more issues. Thumb stick drift in gta and apex which isn’t an issue anymore either i don’t know why. The last issue ( still present ) headphone jack being dis functional. It causes my headphones to output out of one side and when I disconnect my headphones, no audio comes through tv since it thinks the headphones are still in. And the most annoying issue (not actually anything broken) is the squeaky triggers
the video is great! but if you want to record more of yourself then you should improve the lighting, camera quality and the background. Your voice is perfect for those kinds of videos. keep it up!
The circunference/limit of the analog sticks is bigger than the dualshock4? ? The way that the regular dshock have so small limit, compared to ps3 ou ps2 for exemple sucks to me
lol oh no. This controller analog sticks are smaller then the DS4. Even the size of the controller overall is smaller. Its a compact controller. This feels like a PS3 controller then a PS4.
I'm using that controller and it's not that reliable. The R3 and L3 steering go bad after heavy using. Don't expect the quality to be the same after couple of months

The square button and touchpad is too close and in nba2k when u try to shoot i keep calling time outs. Sensitivity on stick is a bit different and doesnt feel accurate when playing shooting game. It also feels too big and too small at the same time. The grip is too short and makes it feel small but it is to fat which makes it feel big.

Not had any problems so far. If I had to dig, it would be that the handles are a tad short buuuuuut it's no biggy. The quality is great!

If you want to use thumbsticks with this, the ps4 kontrolfreek sticks are too big but the Xbox one sticks should fit.

It is not wireless, I just bought it today, btw the cable is 3 meters long so no problem

Mine developed a loose left analog stick in the first two months. It's pretty much unplayable now for games that require precision.
