Seems a lovely lad but is there anything he won't do for money?
Ambassador for the Chinese super League. Ambassador for the qutar world cup.
I remember him turning up during an ad break once on my telly and saying "we here at Sainsbury's....."
What David? You work at Sainsbury's? Give it a rest.
While Neville and co put money into a local club at Salford. David has been given a club in Miami as part of his LA galaxy contract.
He could open up a soccer school in Essex for poor kids.
But instead the David Beckham soccer school is in LA and you have to pay alot to go there. So only rich white kids go there.
In a city full of young Mexican American kids that would love some proper coaching but can't afford it.
Oh and don't forget Becks is also a whiskey salesman these days.
Everything about Beckham seems lovely but I don't understand what he is trying to do other than fill his bank account ten times over.
      What is he now?
A celebrity former player, team owner, fashion model and ambassador for any regime that's got enough cash to make him interested.

@Howlinwalter81 Beckham underperformed for a lot of his career compared to what he showed in the late 90s and early 00s. Calling him underrated almost turns him into an overrated player. He had a rather limited skillset and an "average" playing style which is the reason some people underrate him rather than his celebrity in my view. I have watched Beckham and read about him. Great player but he surely flattered to deceive for a large portion of his career. At his best he was better than what he was given credit for but most of the time it did not come together for him.
Thomas Muller is a better player than Beckham but his style is fairly similar and many people find it hard to assess him for the same reasons. They both are "average".
