Got a chance to run the Schumacher Cougar LD2 at the track. Let's see how it performed!
#Schumacher #CougarLD2 Авто/Мото
Everyone at my local club runs TLR, Associated, and mostly Xray. I am that guy running the odd ball Schumacher Laydown. Man I really love these cars. I ended up buying a pair of used cars with a ton of mods on them and now my car has about every option part you can think of. I always A main out of about 20 or so cars and finish mid pack. To say these cars have a lot of steering is a understatement. Once you add some weight to the front of them they carry tremendous corner speed compared to a lot of other brands. My 14 year old son (faster than me all around) runs a Xray Xb2 and he even comments that he wishes his car performed as well around some of the tighter sections. His lap times with his car vs mine is almost identical and he is one of the quicker people in our club.
Good video of the Schumacher Cougar LD2 Buggy
Great video....car looks smooth....can't wait for more 👍
Love the thud when it lands. Such a satisfying sound.
Omg tracks like rc heaven! That looks sooo fun fast an smoove!
Wish I could get around a track that fast! Really enjoy your video's and that looks like a great(durable) buggy.I would like to see an xray comparison. Thanks for all the effort you put into your video's you obviously enjoy the rc sport!
I get all my Schumacher parts from klinik rc, they have everything you need at a great price
Great Review, kinda interested to see how it runs with a little less weight up front. Thx for posting.
Great overview,cool run brother
Sweet
10:23 when you just rammed into the barrier sounded like you said "what the heck." Looked like the transmitter just lost signal or something? i doubt you wouldn't have turned at all like that
Yea i agree after driving the shumacher I didn't even want my Associated after. So needless to say I'm sticking with shumacher
Thanks for posting! Is Team Associated really popular at your track? I see the big banner. At the track I'm starting to go to seems like Losi is super popular with some TA. It's dirt and I put together a Losi 22.5 Elite together for running there. Do you do much dirt or mostly carpet?
Have you tried the blue compound darts or cactus from Schumacher which switch from yellow to blue when it gets warm out makes a big difference
Good video like your reviews,
What do you think the main differences/updates are between this and the original LD are ? Is it significantly better?
Cheers 🍻
The ld2 is a completely different car although Suttle changes. Night and day
nice video man, what are the front tyres?
Proline Prism
Razor what’s a good 5mm billet connector to go from the Esc to my batteries. I just picked up 2 of this style buggy a b6.2d and the 4wd version
I like these - www.amainhobbies.com/maclan-max-current-5mm-low-profile-gold-bullet-connectors-10-mcl4217/p-qqqeqqyqymzxqctz
@@RazorRC thanks so much
how did your get your car so quick? slipper eliminator? turbo?
I have ceramic bearings, slipper eliminator and a titanium topshaft. But the main thing is the motor is pretty fast, Team Powers Actinium V4 17.5t
Big meh. Because it's 2WD, gears are nit protected and it's pricey.
4wd is even more pricey and many places dont get enough to run it.
