Introducing the New Cougar LD3 2WD 1/10th Competition Off Road Buggy.
The Cougar LD3 improves and refines Schumacher’s class leading 1/10th 2WD racing buggy. It has already achieved numerous national and international race wins including an IFMAR World Championship Podium.
The LD3 is more durable, user friendly, lighter and even faster. With 3 different chassis specifications available it will excel on all track surfaces and in all conditions.
The LD3M is optimised for medium to high grip astro and carpet tracks, with the more forward motor position ‘Laydown’ transmission. The LD3D features a ‘Layback’ transmission which moves the motor 6mm more rearward, it works best on low grip dirt and wet astro tracks. The LD3S features the ‘Laydown’ transmission and lightweight parts for lower powered stock class racing.
New buggy looks amazing, can't wait to try it!
Superb! my LD2 is downright awesome on black carpet, cant imagine how much better the LD3 S is.
Other brands dream of turning in as hard as a Schueeey does! I love my LD2 on carpet. Hands down the best I've driven.
So pretty!
guess it wont be long before Jessica Palsson will be running a LD3m?
Who?
@@LukeEdwards-x8c jessica palsson swedish driver, realy fast with her schumachers.
My private track is half astro half oldschool dirt. The choice will be complicated :-) Today my Ld2 is perfect with long wheel base and shocks absorbers in the rear position. The LD3 Dirt will probably perfect for me !
Most likely as you will probably have more to lose or gain on the loose dirt
Nice overview but, More Importantly, do you have a new Nitro version ⁉️
- Would love to know and thanks for the vid 🩷
What's the difference between the KF, KC, and LD series?
Have to be the one to ask. Why 720p still ?
Which kit would be best to buy for 17.5 Stock Buggy on Indoor Clay/Dirt Track?
dirt i can guess.
B7D
Will there be a a LD3s-dirt spec
Why do all the bodies of shumacher, assiciated, losi, yokomo look the same? Is it rules?
designed by the same company i think.
I heard this car is quite brittle .anywhere I ald reserve the LD3
I wanted one for years but I don't believe I have the skills to put one together they should build an RTR
Trust yourself! After a few Tamiya builds you should be fine. I’m under 16 and I feel comfortable working on one
Go for it, instructions are awesome!
Will the LD3 2 gear diff fit the LD2 ?
just buy the pin. ;-)
@@tomserneels4787 its an easy way to do it, just use 2 gears.
@@extec101 indeed.
Promo-SM 💘
So do all 3 cars come with a gear diff?
So what will be raced indoor on carpet?
LD3M or if you race stock LD3S
Don’t like these cab forward bodies they look ugly - love the classic look of top cat etc. The buggies in the background are gorgeous
