I've always said that this is THE best Pie/Breakfast food and RC channel on the web. It was pretty brave debuting the LD3 on that track. I don't think I could get a buggy around it, let alone doing it quickly.
Great channel lads! Just bought the LD3 & now it’s a waiting game as it’s only back in stock tomorrow (29th November). Really looking forward to the build and not rushing it.
J FINAL!! Wow. Wish there was as many drivers in 2wd buggy class over here in SA. We barely fill the c mains. Good on you for atarting the racing scene! Great videos and love that new LD3.. im buying a new buggy in 2024 and waiting for january for the new associated to see what they came up with before i pull the trigger on my 1st shcumi
its about about practice time like you said before lads, been racing my LD1 for months now and still learning on every meeting. With the jumps i found tweeking the boost(timing) give you that little more for jumps otherwise it didnt have pace and just crash into the jumps lol
I managed to get my loval club to race F1 indoors on carpet, and they were so much fun! As a result, I entered the final round of the 2023 F1 nationals and it was an amazing experience! Come to a national round next year, you will be welcomed, and there are always loan cars kicking about :D
Nice video guys! Schumacher is getting better and better! Of course I will buy a LD3 soon, testing this with a Elceram Nitro will be interesting... I think Schumacher will not bring a Mi9 soon. The Mi8 is a very nice car and the hgt-tuning is quite new. I only used my Mi8 for Drag-Racing yet, but 1.85sec/2s and 1.74sec/3s is quite o.k.😅 🐄💨
Great Video, you did good for the first time out and the track was so complex. I'm there in January with my LD3M that's still in the box as there is no time to build it yet working nights and days. **Posted video on my Facebook group 🏆 Hope to bump into you both soon x
I have been using a buggy during the summer out doors at my local club with a Hobby wing 8.5 motor. I wondered if you could tell me if you can use an 8.5 motor indoors on carpet at clubs? Many thanks. Stuart.
My local TC club ran an F1 class. Fast cars and fun to watch though they looked really sensitive to setup. 6.5 turn would be mod at my track. Is there a rookie/novice/sportsman class you can run in with a 17.5 or 13.5? 6.5 is a handful. I watch guys go from 17.5 to mod at my track and they are pulling wheelies and nearly doing backflips from the extra speed until they get a little used to it. Very unforgiving
@@PopalongRC oof, comments left before sleeping never go well. My ambiguous comment about the 6.5 turn was of course about the buggies at the offroad track 🙃
@PopalongRC think I need to get myself a buggy. Was gonna get the ftx vantage 2 but been told it breaks too easy, so thinking I might get the ld3 too, at least I can get tips from you.
@@JonathanLister-m2o Lots of good cars to choose from. I've always found Associated to be the best bang for the buck. And getting parts and upgrades is super easy. They're everywhere!

Currently designing an RC pie dispenser device..

Nice one!! Good luck with it, it’s a great car👍
need a comparison of LD3 and b6.4
Consider it done
That was a hell of a first test Carl!! Good job
Can’t grumble .. proper test
Loving the funny banter between you two still.....
Cheers Roger

You think there will be a new associated… interesting
@PopalongRC yes there will.. late january. The B7 will be released. Also keen on that new Mugen Seiki. Not sure when they will launch though
Great video guys.. that track was insane! Well done! Love the Schumacher kits ever since I got my first Cat XL in the early 90's.
What a great first run it was

Car has plenty of pace but need to check speed to make landing so I was judging speed wrong . Practice and that will be sorted
@PopalongRC yea its all consistency and hard not to get frustrated sometimes 🤣 my car drives better now the motor isnt failing lol

will do chief!

Great video. Have fun racing the new car this winter
Can’t wait
demanding a video of how to build shocks.
Thank you.
Throttle control is key, Faster is not always better,
Keep it up guys 👍🏻 cheers ✌🏻
Cheers buddy
Very excellent LD3 👌🏻
Making some good progress
Brilliant thanks for sharing what size of pinion gear you using
Nothing like a bit of winter bulking carl 😂
That track was nuts as well . Fair play to you 👌
Not the best driver in the world but know a thing or 2 about winter bulking
Love your journeys ❤
Cheers buddy
I’m in on this journey with you 👌🏻love this channel 💪🏻
Welcome aboard!
Zingers ftw!
You’re not wrong
Quality sausage roll boss with some HP brown horse. 👊
Boooom now we’re talking

Mark and I both ran 8.5 and that seems to be the go too
I have just gone with a 6.5 but I am running it with out any boosts
@@PopalongRC agree 8.5 works depending on layout of the track, where i race most use mod engines 6.5-5.0T so we go fast 😁
Does 13.5 t matter
Bet those Marshalls slept well that night 🤣🤣
True

I think Crystal Palace run f1 outdoors, but I dunno how close that is to you. I love f1, but it keeps going in and out of favour.
We need to Popalong to Crystal Palace for sure

Zingers was the best chicken shop ever!
Loved the spices salt on the fries too
Hot Scotch Egg - game changer.. ;-)
I’m listening
Is Mark ok? Looked and sounded a bit subdued......
You should test the Schumacher and the associated together as a comparison
All in good time
👍 will be good to see what they are like side by side as I keep looking at them and don’t know which to go for.
@user-kv6jw4lx7c watch this space … coming soon

Has it been done yet
Are you going to get the Tamiya bt01 when it comes out?
One of many cars we hope to feature
@@PopalongRC I hope they will allow them to run with TT 01 and tt-02s and it makes the body of each car that's rear-wheel drive only more realistic.
You should send Mark to go race on the same track with a different car.
Packed down now the track will only live on in our footage and never be repeated
@@PopalongRC that's too bad.
the question is - who is Pete and who is Dud ?
I’m Pete and he is Dud
No I’m Pete and you are Dud
Hi there is a pretty good turn out at wlrc for F1 and you do like the track lol
Good to know … might have to get one then
Pies and sausage bap 100%!!
Hero breakfast
Who ate all the pies??? Some stiff competition there mate, look foward to seeing how you both get on when you race the Schum vs the Associated.
So Mark didn't drive the LD3 and it didn't break? Hmmmmm...coincidence?
That’s what I told him 😂😂👍

Aldershot runs the f1’s
We really need to Popalong
Which is better,The Schumacher or the Associated ?
There’s only one way to find out ….FIGHT!!!!
Crystal Palace race F1
That is also on our to do list
Hope to Popalong soon
