WOW
What a beauty of a racer!!
Wow machined out of billet that chassis and gearbox is just a work of art🤩
Ya. It looks frickin sweet.
Happy Days!!!! Cheers mate,, This Aussie in China loves the fun!
As for race results, Kyle Moon who is the top WS driver has put it in the A final at the indoor British GP numerous times and he is in the top 20 at the UK nationals so the cars going very well 👍🏻
I’m not much on the cab forward buggies but with the 90’s style paint job I like this.
I don’t know much about the modern race buggies but that Willspeed conversion is truly impressive!🤩👍
Love the detail on that chassis 🤩 I put the Schumacher big bores on my top force build….superb
I’ve been considering these for my top force as the Schumacher big bores are much cheaper then the tamiya ones…….did they go on ok ? Would be interested to see a pic of yours if you have the time
Serious stuff Glenn! Beautifully made!
Exceptional fit, finish, and machining indeed. Thank you for the video!
Great video Glenn 👍 what a thing that is 👌
G'day Glenn wow that is a thing of beauty yes I agree with you I think we need a Will speed car. Lol it's going to be hard to give it back to Dennis what Schumacher. Thank you Glenn and Dennis 👍👍
It's not half bad, is it? It does look really nice, really high quality. Nice!!!
Wow Glenn. Very very nice chassis.
It's hard to beat some CNC machined alloy! Looks like pure quality!
Ive only seen one in the flesh, and like you, i nerded out 😁
That’s proper nice!! Looking at getting a LD2 and would love to do this conversion in the future 😎💪
👍
That thing looks amazing. The amount of time it takes to design, and then cnc is crazy. Unreal!
Interesting
Beautiful chassis ❤
Amazing set up did he do well in competition
Thanks for the kind words Glenn!
Super cool car! I like those brass mounts for the rear lower arms. I would bet that those have different ones that have different slots to set the rear up in different ways and possibly different weights to balance that car in a custom way.
Now I have never really liked or been into these style buggys but that is a beautiful piece of kit. I do like the cab forward shells
You do? I always hated the cab forward buggy bodies. I like the old school bodies better. When they came out with the cab forward buggy bodies, I switched to driving stadium trucks lol.
Well damn.
RF3 is the lastest version I think. In losi and AE flavours at the moment but there might be a LD2 version coming as well.
If only they had em at Otley Modelsport haha
Wow very nice 👍🏽 🔥 do you know what type of aluminum they use ?
Alum rear hubs
Ceramic bearings
Titanium screws and turnbuckles
Alum team steering arms and plate
Front alum ball cup plate
Klinik front hubs
Team alum spindles
Carbon shock towers
Karashima shock bodies
Brass rear suspension holder
These are some of the upgrades that are done to the car-
Exceptional, nicely done my friend
Could you let me know what parts you have used for the top mount on the rear shocks please, looks far more upright than I've got on mine using the XL Schumacher ball studs and a 3mm spacer.
@@olidavies136 i’ll check tonight and send you some pictures
I'm surprised it doesn't have a gear cover.
Don’t worry glen Keith will buy you one 😂
I don't want to sound like I'm being pushy. But Glen my friend I've been a long time Sub like the first 100. And I've been waiting to see that Juggernaut build with Tamiya Legends livering! And if it don't happen soon. I'm going to message Keith and tell him he better not buy u a S.W. car until that truck is featured on his channel. 😂😂 im just kidding but I would really like to see how it compares to a 1:10 scale buggy or truck. And done in white with the RED, WHITE, & BLUE. On that FORD f-250 body with all those alluminum bumpers and parts that goes with it. WOW! I just about can't set still just talking about it. I'm doing what u would call NERDING OUT!! 😂 But if by some chance u can't find the time ur more then welcome to send it my way with ur livery and I will gladly build it for u. Lol Don't hate me just yet Glen! I'm still on ur team. And I'll sit quietly on my hands and wait for that video to show it's self to Me.
I would NEVER paint the body on a Willspeed-car ! I have a Schumacher Cougar SV2 2WD Buggy as a Shelf Queen. All that carbon and purple alloy from the kit just looked so nice, that I removed the airbrush painted custom body and put a clear body on it - just to look at the chassis and the beautiful vintage motor in it (GM Dr. Speed)
Can it run on grass or is it astro only?
That looks stupid fast sat still!
Very nice, but wouldn’t make an ounce of difference to the good club racer. It’s all in the fingers and if you haven’t set up your car to the track conditions, it will drive like a bag of spanners.
