- We're hunting for our favorite game bird, the Ptarmigan. We set off for adventure, in our Lance truck camper, up to the rugged mountains behind the cabin. We fight through the deep snow for miles on our snowshoes, take in the sun, and find a truly amazing spot to camp out in our cozy mobile cabin for the night. Welcome back to Alaska Cabin Adventures!

Those Ptarmigan can be right under your feet and you wouldn't see them. They burrow right into the snow and just peak out with their tiny heads and beading black eyes. That road has excellent scenery. The wife and I have been on a number of times while visiting Alaska, Trip number 5 is coming up next March. Love the drone footage. That a neat slide- in- camper. All the comforts of home. I bet you slept good after all that snow- shoeing!

I’ll have to watch this when I come back. I’m going to explore Anchorage some more today. I visited the museum this week and had a really great time and now I’m going to walk around downtown some more after I have breakfast. I heard Snow City Café is really good.

Nice camper rig. I’ve got a 🇨🇦1979 Okanagan that’s the same weight. Lets the truck stay nimble. I noticed you do not have the escape hatch over the bed though, which I love for fresh air/venting. Thanks for sharing the scenery. 🤙
Living the life. Only saw the northern lights once stationed in Western Washington state Whidbey Island. Mother nature dumped 1 foot of snow on us up here in Minnesota. Nice April fool's joke. My doggo loved it. Plus it was her birthday and she wished this mess
