- My sister Hannah has arrived all the way from Paris France to show off her cooking skills, snowshoe, ski, craft, ride snow machines, pet the animals and sweat in the wood fired sauna! It was a perfectly relaxing visit at our Alaska cabin. That is...until something went terribly wrong...

Man Huskies are such incredible athletes... to see Norman keeping pace behind, beside and in front of the snowmobile on the return leg home was just awesome. And you can definitely see that he's absolutely loving it

when spring comes you should build a epic fire pit outside only a suggestion with benches to sit around and a grate so you can make duch oven stews and chilis in the winter and fall

I have a recommendation to enhance for your Italian Sausage pasta.. my mum is Italian and we've been making this for years! Try with red wine, needs garlic and a little chilli. At the end add cream and grate on a little nutmeg before the cheese!

Those new fangled chimneys are a blessing, but they sure don't stand up to really nasty winds or roof clearing (unless majorly braced/tied down) unlike the old fashioned and dangerous stone/brick ones of yesteryear. Great video with Norman being in his element and your sister, wife, and cat making the cabin warm and cozy (baking bread and mulled wine, notwithstanding). Thank you for sharing.

Well, here we are again,( the first video was of you and your friend in Alpine Creek Lodge) watching a fantastic video of the beauty of central Alaska (possibly the Matsu valley area), where they got a ton of snow this winter. Loved everything that you shared with us. Norman is a cool Husky. We had a Siberian Husky(Dakota).Had him from birth. he was my best buddy, especially hiking through the woods in the Winter. Wow, I grew up around white birch trees, and my dad told us never to peel the bark off.
I missed going to Alaska when I was young. My daughter lives there near Anchorage but watching this makes me wish I were not so old. Very Enjoyable folks TY. Mama Bea and Papa Wayne in Arizona. (old farm farts lol)

Absolutely stunning, what a great time to play in the snow. Regarding the eggs, have you ever tried to put a lid on top of the pan and turn them even lower than what you had? The yoke will get cooked by the steam coming from the bottom. Keep the lid on there for 1.5 to 2 minutes. Take the lid off over the sink because it will have condens on it. I like that a lot since the bottom of the egg (the whites and some of the yoke) are yummy from the butter and the top is great with a little black pepper and if you dare.... cumin. It is best to put the cumin on before you put the lid on the frying pan.
But then I don't get to flip it! haha just kidding, I'll try that out!

lol we were at my uncles cottage up north in Canada and lol he had this coal out in a bag he worked for hydro and anyways we decided to put a two pices in a wood fire place that is not made for coal and lol we were outside in our long underwear trying to cool down at night the steam just comming off us it was 110 F inside the cottage man we had a good laugh

Take bark from dead birch trees only. Removing bark from the complete circumference from a live tree (girdle)will result in killing the tree....Google girdle a tree. Love your program❤❤

Get a heat gun and get the leather warm then rub “Snow seal” into the leather. It’s the best protection and vitality for leather.

I’m so happy to see you introduce your wife Lewisa (sorry I don’t know the spelling since she wasn’t mentioned in the description where Hannah was). I thought you were strong but she was carrying Norman like he weighed nothing. Also her and Norman must go skiing a lot they were so in sync the whole time.
Hannah seemed so nice is there anywhere we can go to see the recipes she used and get more instructions? Or maybe share some of our own. I used to make these pepper Jack mashed potatoes that were so good.
