Your right I have 13 motorcycles and this is the one I ride all the time, can’t explain why it’s just a blast to ride always brings me joy just to look at it sometimes, I’m going to try to make a Coast to Coast trip next year see what happens, I might have to get a rotopax auxiliary tank for gas to play it safe
Bought mine last week. Long time Rider with a garage full of bikes, but the FTR is truly special! Great video!
Good job! I kept mine stock but it is always good to see these mods
Just got mine, lovin' it, have been thinking about a paint job, yours gives food for thought, great!👍
Love the tank design!
Very nicely done custom! The FTR is a great bike to start with too.
Dope. Gonna do something similar to mine. Nicely done.
Awesome ride!
Great build and look
the tank is awesome
Nice run down with links.. Thanks.
Right on for the exhaust! Bad ass !
Thank you!
Love that tank
Great looking bike!
Thank you!
Inspiring!
Nice! Fellow TN FTR rider here.
Where in TN are you at?
@@RidgeRoamer little town called McMinnville about an hour SE of Nashville.
Picked up my FTR. Been enjoying it on the gravel backroads.
I'd like to duplicate your exhaust so I can add panniers to both sides for a trip.
Hoping you put up a video with the sound of the exhaust one day ;)
Awesome! Enjoy your FTR! Can't believe I don't have an FTR video with riding sounds. Try this one... best I got with exhaust sound right now. ruclips.net/video/SHRGWd7-43M/видео.html
Magnifique 😍

Amazing. Who did the custom paint job?
wondering what SC project exhaust you have and was it made for ftr?
bought both the mirrors and hand guards from the link you provided. The mirrors attach fine, but I can't get the handguards to work for the life of me. Neither of the internal handle bar kits off the handguards work. How did you get the handguards and mirror combo to work, specifically the kit that goes into the the handle bar to retain?
I honestly don't remember how the install went. I may have wrapped/sleeved it if it wasn't big enough diameter.
Been looking for pure street tires for my 2019 base. Thanks for the tip. Does the 160/60/18 piss off the ABS ? No problem with rim width and that size increase ?? Thanks again. Subscribing.
No problems whatsoever! Thank you!
Going with that size on the rear tire did it feel like it lowered it a little bit from the stock? Thanks
There wasn't really a perceptible change in height.
What rally handlebars are those???? They look like they pull up and back a bit.
They are the Indian accessory rally bars.
Can you show what turn signals those are or how you made them?
Here is the link to the turn signals I used:
amzn.to/3jMZ4Mo (2 per package)
Links to all parts are in the description.
Thank you!
What all did you have to do to make the footpegs work?
No way dishing out 279 for the pro taper and can't even find the RSD anymore.
Appreciate it
As I recall, had to cut off the attached peg spacer, move it to the other side, and change thickness a bit. Sorry, it's been a while.
@@RidgeRoamer I see what you did after looking at peg and video again.
Thanks for the videos!
hello. any engine issues so far? how reliable compared to ktm1290 duke?
No issues with anything. Never owned a KTM...
@@RidgeRoamer how many miles is ur ftr?
What kind of seat is that?
That is the stock FTR seat
One...bad....machine
