Disappointed they did not add these back to the OG Chieftain line let alone much of the electronics are only on the 112.

I bought mine yesterday in Wisconsin. Make sure you grab it when it hits the floor. There were a ton of people on that call list.

I really want one of these bikes, I'm just not sure how well it would work for what I want to use it for. 30 miles of 60-70mph highways 5 days a week and weekend rides 150-200 miles in a day primarily on 2 lane back roads running 60-65. I currently have a 2024 Street triple r and 2025 Grom (this would be added to the garage, NOT a replacement). How bad are the vibrations at those speeds?

Good video, but you compared the engine specs of the Indian 108 engine vs the 112 Power Plus to the Harley.

Sorry indian almost 30k for ur bike? Your not harley and even harley is having a hard time getting away with it, personally i would only consider purchasing a polaris/indian if it was at least 5k cheaper Than a harley… but because i dont believe this cruisers are worth almost 30k is why am looking at goldwings this time Around after 3 streetglides.

I’m curious if the riding position has changed with the new motor. Heard tall guys with Chieftains don’t enjoy the Challenger as much because the “boys” get cramped on the tank.

Aftermarket and dealer support is really holding back Indian. I'd already own a couple Indians if I didn't have to go 100+ miles to get to the nearest dealer. I have 4 Harley dealerships closer than that, 2 within 15 miles, and every other major brand of motorcycle.

Harley Harley only Harley! They've been doing it for over a hundred and twenty years. Indian has only been resurrected recently.The quality fit and finish are not there with Indian.

Well, I love the idea over a liquidcooled chieftain. However I totally dislike the curved tanks that appaerantly need to come with them. I love the more classic looking tank of the TS chieftains. That powerplus chieftain now is just a challenger with a batwing. Same as Harley does with street glide and road glide. And being different was one of the more fun parts of that chieftain. And I have to admit, I rode bot 2024 chieftain and challenger, and though both drive fine, The TS beats the powerplus big time in terms of character, especially when combined with a roaring Jekyll & Hyde. So for me a big thumbs up for Harley who added some liquid cooling to the engine, but still kept the character of the street glide.

The only thing I wish Indian would do is make a trike. I understand Polaris does not want an in-house competitive battle with the SlingShot. But with the way the Indians are starting to give HD a battle. They do need to consider all models. Just a friendly opinion. 😊 GREAT VIDEO 👍

122 horsepower is pretty low for a liquid cooled engine. Harley's liquid cold V-Twin is 150 horsepower.

Indian has always made and designed better motorcycles. Harley is just a legacy brand and just started manufacturing decent bikes. Harley Davidson still has that 1940s chain primary drive and 3 hole oil filling which is BS.

I give props to Indian for the new powerplus models, thumbs down for yet another no nearly as nice looking copycat of a Harley offering

Must apologize did not no Indian had so many fanboys . to each his their own, but if you think Indian is better, you must think that Yamaha is better than Polaris also.. but again you must really look at the actual package you are purchasing night and day difference between Harley and Indian

I just bought a 24 Streetglide in early December but was considering the Chieftain. I've bought several Harley's over the last 25 years so I just prefer them. Based on this review you really can't make a bad choice. The Harley and Indian are pretty awesome bikes.

Good unbiased comparison, I wouldn’t say I’m necessarily brand specific, I just ride what I like and what feels good to me. I’ve looked at Indian at the dealer several times and just really turned off by the fit and finish of the bike and seemed to be many plastic parts or covers. Does the Indian have variable valve timing as well?

I've been waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting, finally did not show up in the usa, so i went and bought a more expensive bike you pay for what you get this bike is nice for the price but im not waiting for a bike that should of came out last year.

I’m not sure if you’re gonna speak on it but when it comes to the heated grips, you have to pay monthly for Harley Davidson even after you own the bike with Indian once you pay for it it’s done

For me, I think Indian is winning in the entry line with the Scouts, and HD is winning in the cruiser line with the Softails. For the touring line, it’s a wash. Though I prefer the HD touring line for engine character, better low speed handling, better throttle body response. You can’t go wrong with either brand.

Very good video. I've ridden HD for 55 years. For me, HD takes second place in price, comfort and reliability. Only first place in overall look/style and paint. Never seen better quality paint on any bike. Sadly, paint doesn't get you home trouble-free. (P. S. new subscriber)

Really comes down to styling preference, I prefer the style of Harley Davidson. Power is very similar and price is very similar.
