I love the analog/filmic look in your photos. I stopped at Bar Le Côte for dinner a few weeks ago and met Brad. We had a nice conversation about a slower (analog) artistic approach to photography. Such a great restaurant too.
Love your website! I have a question tho, in what size do you upload your pictures to your website so it doesn’t become slow but still have the optimal quality?🙏🏼
Lovely work Sam. Got a lot of those sun drenched US tones. I’ll swap you a few moody UK ones :) The commercial ones you shot really stood out from your usual documentary style aesthetic, think you did them well though ..
Your content is always the best and inspire. I have a question: What photo export setting and cover photo export setting do you use on the web for fast uploading? Sometimes it is slow loading which is great for any client.
In your older video "Why Canon is still in my Camera Bag" you mentioned that the R5 is used in 70-80% of shoots (especially the higher end ones). Is that still the case or are you leaning more and more to the GFX?
Honestly if I could I’d use the GFX for everything. Color, depth etc is just so much more my style. With that being said canon is always a great choice and has never let me down. Just lacks that “excitement” for me personally,.
I’ve been struggling with my website. I use a variety of cameras (digital, 35mm, 6x6) using color and black and white. Finding a theme is tough, and have recently been thinking about leaning into the variety. Any tips or website suggestions to check out for inspiration? Love the channel, thanks!
Totally relate on finding a theme that works for your style.. I think it depends on how you want to display your work in terms of categories. Projects, specific categories for genre or just simple pages with images on it. You can start there, but there are so many options out there right now to find a great template to start with
Your work and site are absolutely stunning !
Love you work Sam! The colors are amazing ... and so is your website!!
Such incredible work Sam! Always inspired and motivated by your storytelling

Very cool! Brad is the best man.
Nice one Sam! I think a rebirth for photographers is good. I love the mention of updating your work to be 3 years or less!

Great Q- I usually do somewhere between 2000-2500px long edge for optimal performance
@@SamuelElkinsPhoto thank you so much! Can’t wait to see what you create next! Huge inspiration!🫶🏼
Your work is amazing! Did you shoot both District Vision & Oyster Performance on the Fuji?

Have you ever done/ do you plan on doing any physical events/ exhibitions for your work? Do you think those are good ways to grow as a photographer?
Maybe one day! I’ve got a book in the works for sure that I’ll bring to fruition at some point
Very nice! Which template is this?
I can’t remember tbh - I just redid it with the new Squarespace firmware and they added quite a few templates
can you provide its git hub link please
