One of the best tribute performance I’ve ever seen.. you can really see and feel Ms. Patti’s respect to both the song and the singer. She knows she’s singing somebody else’s song and that its style is so far from hers but she toned down a bit for it. For all we know LaBelle is a legend and a monster on stage! One of the best tribute performance I’ve ever seen.. you can really see and feel Ms. Patti’s respect to both the song and the singer. She knows she’s singing somebody else’s song and that its style is so far from hers but she toned down a bit for it. For all we know LaBelle is a legend and a monster on stage! She could actually do whatever she want with the song but she did it the smooth way.
