I was a loan officer when she crossed over to English language singing. I had a stereo radio in my office. The first time I heard her voice, I was typing in a loan. The moment she started singing, I stopped typing. I looked up at my radio and I said to myself “OMG!! Who is that? “. The DJ said her name. I purchased her first English language cd days later. I’ve been a huge fan of her and her voice ever since. She has the best voice ever. AND, I’ve never heard anything bad said about her. Unlike some of the other great voices. Celine has stayed true to her roots. That’s why I will always love her love❤

Most pop artists do not transcend transcontinental sales in the way she did. I think the world places too much value on entertainers in general, but when you compare entertainers who have talent and work ethic like Celine with the pop trash that passes for music these days and I'm much more offended at what they are paid. I went to a concert of her in New Year 2019 in Vegas. In some parts of the concerts she stopped to joke around or to tell histories about her husband and her. Her voice, her personality, all of her is so beautiful ♥️ I won't hesitate to see her again.
I think some people may roll eyes or poke fun at Celine but she’s an incredibly talented and beautiful person. A number of years ago, I was a volunteer at a senior citizen’s organization and we were able to get floor side tickets to one of her concerts. She was so kind, so engaging, so humble, so funny - where once I was dismissive, I became a fan. She’s had her difficulties as all have but I believe she’s worked so very hard and she is a wonderfully talented and generous person. ❤️🇨🇦

Is it bad that I think she’s more open and takes herself less seriously since her husband passed? I don’t mean it negatively toward him, but she’s been in a relationship with him her entire adult life and he’s got like 27-ish years on her. She also lost him as he was battling a long bout of cancer, I can imagine she felt weighed down for a long time. And now she seems more free and playful.
The instrumental intro to It's All Coming Back to Me Now....I can't tell if that's from pure joy or pure bitterness, or both. I am paraphrasing, but she once talked in an interview where she said just when she's feeling over it, singing something like My Heart Will Go On for the billionth time, she is waiting to enter the stage and she'll see some old lady who plunked down 240 bucks for tickets plus a flight to do this one thing in her life and go see her, and how the lady's full tilt ecstatic with anticipation, and she thinks to herself, "Well, I gotta make it work for her. I've heard it a billion times live, because I'm me, but this lady hasn't." Then she kills it. So I don't know if that bit is just Celine being a space alien like normal, or if that's literally something she just imagines trying one time in her head, completely fudging around in a concert and looking like a crazy person, but whatever the reason, that rubber facing made me laugh harder than anything Jim Carrey's ever done.

I think some people may roll eyes or poke fun at Celine but she’s an incredibly talented and beautiful person. A number of years ago, I was a volunteer at a senior citizen’s organization and we were able to get floor side tickets to one of her concerts. She was so kind, so engaging, so humble, so funny - where once I was dismissive, I became a fan. She’s had her difficulties as all have but I believe she’s worked so very hard and she is a wonderfully talented and generous person. ❤️🇨🇦

Is it bad that I think she’s more open and takes herself less seriously since her husband passed? I don’t mean it negatively toward him, but she’s been in a relationship with him her entire adult life and he’s got like 27-ish years on her. She also lost him as he was battling a long bout of cancer, I can imagine she felt weighed down for a long time. And now she seems more free and playful.

The instrumental intro to It's All Coming Back to Me Now....I can't tell if that's from pure joy or pure bitterness, or both. I am paraphrasing, but she once talked in an interview where she said just when she's feeling over it, singing something like My Heart Will Go On for the billionth time, she is waiting to enter the stage and she'll see some old lady who plunked down 240 bucks for tickets plus a flight to do this one thing in her life and go see her, and how the lady's full tilt ecstatic with anticipation, and she thinks to herself, "Well, I gotta make it work for her. I've heard it a billion times live, because I'm me, but this lady hasn't." Then she kills it.
So I don't know if that bit is just Celine being a space alien like normal, or if that's literally something she just imagines trying one time in her head, completely fudging around in a concert and looking like a crazy person, but whatever the reason, that rubber facing made me laugh harder than anything Jim Carrey's ever done.
