I started cc yesterday and weighed that morning. I weighed myself again this morning "just to see what was going on"....and i was ¼ of a pound heavier! I very nearly gave up and binged. I managed to talk myself out of that binge and had a healthy, calorie tracked meal instead. I can't tell you how good this made me feel. After watching this video I've decided to stay off the scales for as long as i possibly can. I'm going to trust the cc deficit and hopefully lose this blinking weight once and for all. Thanks for your help❤

I love this video and how you've explained everything. I know a lot of people fear the scales and don't understand fluctuations. I also know through my own experience, how attached you can get to your scales and the number can affect your day!! Definitely no need to weigh so frequently. I like how you've explained all this thoroughly and covered every aspect. 👌

I used to get really frustrated when I weighed weekly and then ended up weighing multiple times a week and it would affect my mood depending on the result but found recently if I weighed daily & don’t look at daily figure but then added up the 7 days then divided the 7 days by 7 to get a weekly average . I can then compare the weekly averages to get an idea of the overall trend, I find I’m treating it more as data these days :)

Great! As a thought process, for you what would be the benefit of knowing your weight weekly rather than monthly or let's say even less?

@@emotionaleatingcoach it’s just easy a way of measuring progress mate . Weekly is a nice easy set period of time to add up the days and work out the average , rather than adding up periods of 31 days or longer . I think with the scale , it either needs to be consistent or throw the scale away and don’t use them at all , weighing adhoc doesn’t really provide anything useful never did me any favours and of course there are others measures: , like got a jacket that I couldn’t even get close to closing at the start of the year and I can now zip it up :)

I don't. It's always interesting to hear different perspectives on faith though.

@@emotionaleatingcoach Bless you Harry thanks for a respectful response. Jesus died for our sins, he loves us so much I pray you ponder, but it's personal and we don't want to force people. 🙏🙏❤️Jess
