I stuck ice on the bed for about 5 minutes and the PEI came off pretty easy. Thanks for the cooling idea and video.

A tip to get the last bits of adhesive off: Spray with Isopropyl, let sit for about 30 seconds then scrub with a magic eraser. Much faster than trying to scrape with a razor blade.

For getting the glue off, I used acetone, poured onto a paper towel and then covered the spring steel with a sheet of glass so that the acetone could soak into the glue and not evaporate.

Thank you so much for the video! Did find out if you have a baking sheet pan bigger than the bed...the bed goes in the pan and pour in the rubbing alcohol just to cover the bed and get to work. Takes some work...but eventually the adhesive will come away sooner than just spraying parts of the bed. Is so much easier this way.

If you have a heated bed attached to the bottom I’d be worried it would cause your heater pad to separate from your glass. If your bed is just glass abs separate from your heater, I could definitely see that working

@@jim2386 - It's only the stock glass bed on the CR-10 Mini. Anything else...would have never thought about doing this. On the other hand...just got a magnetic steel bed add-on where this would not need to be done. I was disappointed deep cleaning the stock bed did nothing about making me look more handsome. ;)
      Thank you for the reply!

Maybe wd-40 could help remove the adhesive
